Provided proof from their website which was poorly updated that I was represented by them until today I guess. I guess they will be deleting all the other reviews with someone named Rob. He stepped down last month. When Rob was there things were great. Pretty sure lying about your law firm and experiences is a problem. Might be better to address issues than say the few one star reviews aren’t clients and then drop them. Perhaps Charles is very busy being the only one there now, but he's not remembering what was discussed, is missing emails, is sending notices incredibly late, and is incredibly rude, but I guess you get what you pay for. We discussed early in March filing for a two month extension for payment with the court because I was laid off from the non profit I worked for in January two weeks after major surgery and although l'd made the first couple of payments I am running low on funds and this is the difference between having electricity until I have a job because I’ve exhausted my savings in the last few months. I sent him my unemployment statement. I waited a couple of weeks to circle back and he just didn't get back to me. Once we finally connected at the end of March he asked me to call him the following day at a specific time. I called at the agreed upon date and time. He sent me straight to voicemail and he responded with a text, "please do not call me, text me." I was finally able to connect with him a couple of days before my payment was due in mid April. He said he'd file for an extension. Well, he never touched base with me on it so I was thinking it was for a two month extension and already trying to figure out if I could borrow it from someone if push came to shove in June. Twenty three days later I received mail from Charles with the court ruling that it was due in four days. He filed for a 27 day extension. What's worse is when I reached out to remind him that I asked to file for a 60 day extension and asked if he could file one more extension he told me to borrow the money (in in what is now two days) and that he can't help me. Specifically he can't help me if I'm late although this could have been avoided if he’d filed for 60 days as discussed and sent the notice from the court in a timely manner. (I have a paper trail of texts and emails plus post marked envelopes.) Basically there are a couple of other low cost places in town if you’re short on funds that may cost a few hundred more, but would be worth it. I’d shop around to find somewhere that treats you like a person, has some form of empathy, and at the very least sends time sensitive notices from the court in a timely manner. lol so now they’re saying they don’t represent me. They changed their name to Hartley Law, but the website has a mistake, Rob at Law Counsel LLC is still listed. In addition Charles filed a motion to no longer represent me at the same time this was sent. He did look me up on Facebook the other day. No doubt my race also is a factor

$395 Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Attorneys Introduce

Welcome to "Lawyers Near Me," your platform for connecting with legal services in your local area. Today, we examine $395 Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Attorneys, located at 2601 N 3rd St, Phoenix, AZ 85004, USA. This firm explicitly advertises a very low cost for Chapter 7 bankruptcy filings, making it a potentially attractive option for individuals facing financial hardship. They can be reached at (602) 892-4775 or their mobile number, +1 602-892-4775.

Information regarding the physical environment of $395 Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Attorneys is not available through the provided reviews. However, it's reasonable to assume they operate from their listed address on North 3rd Street in Phoenix. The focus of their online presence and advertised service is heavily centered on the affordability of their Chapter 7 bankruptcy services. Potential clients might expect a functional office space to conduct consultations and handle the necessary paperwork associated with bankruptcy filings.

The core service offered by this firm, as their name suggests, is Chapter 7 bankruptcy representation at a notably low price point of $395. Chapter 7 bankruptcy is a legal process that allows individuals to liquidate certain assets to pay off debts and obtain a discharge from eligible debts. The services typically involved in this process include an initial consultation, assessment of the client's financial situation, preparation and filing of the bankruptcy petition and related documents with the bankruptcy court, representation at meetings with creditors, and guidance through the discharge process. The significantly lower cost advertised by this firm suggests a potentially high volume practice or a streamlined approach to handling Chapter 7 cases.

Several features and potential concerns emerge from the recent customer reviews. A significant point of contention is the firm's communication and level of service following a change in personnel. One reviewer mentioned a positive experience when working with someone named Rob, who has since left the firm. Subsequent interactions with someone named Charles are described negatively, citing issues such as forgotten discussions, missed emails, late notices from the court, and rude communication. This suggests a potential decline in service quality or inconsistencies in client management.

Another critical feature highlighted in the reviews is the potential for delays and errors in handling crucial aspects of the bankruptcy process. One client detailed a request for a two-month payment extension with the court due to a job loss and financial hardship following surgery. The reviewer alleges that the attorney, Charles, failed to file the requested extension, leading to a significantly shorter 27-day extension being granted without timely notification to the client. This resulted in considerable stress and financial difficulty for the client, who felt the situation could have been avoided with better communication and adherence to the agreed-upon strategy.

The reviews also raise serious concerns about the firm's transparency and representation. One reviewer mentioned being informed of a change in the firm's name to Hartley Law, while their website allegedly contained outdated information listing a different attorney associated with "Law Counsel LLC." This discrepancy, coupled with the simultaneous filing of a motion to withdraw representation, suggests potential issues with the firm's administrative practices and client communication. The reviewer also expressed a serious concern about potential racial bias, alleging that their race may have been a factor in the negative treatment they received.

While the low cost of $395 for a Chapter 7 bankruptcy filing is undoubtedly a form of "promotional information" designed to attract clients facing financial difficulties, the recent reviews strongly suggest that potential clients should exercise caution and thoroughly research the current service quality. The negative experiences shared by multiple reviewers regarding communication, timeliness, and overall client care raise significant red flags. The initial positive review mentioning a much higher cost at other attorneys ($1200+) highlights the significant price difference, but the subsequent negative feedback suggests that this lower cost may come at the expense of reliable and attentive legal representation.

In conclusion, while $395 Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Attorneys advertises a very affordable option for individuals seeking Chapter 7 bankruptcy in Phoenix, Arizona, recent customer reviews present a concerning picture of their current service. Allegations of poor communication, missed deadlines, rude behavior, and potential misrepresentation should give prospective clients pause. The contrast between past positive experiences with a former attorney and recent negative experiences with the current attorney, Charles, suggests a significant shift in the firm's operational quality. The advertised low cost may be appealing to those with limited financial resources, but the reviews strongly advise potential clients to weigh the potential risks against the savings and consider exploring other options in the Phoenix area, even if they are slightly more expensive, to ensure they receive competent and respectful legal representation during a critical financial process. It is crucial for individuals considering this firm to conduct further due diligence and potentially seek consultations with other bankruptcy attorneys in the "Lawyers Near Me" category to make an informed decision about their legal representation.

Before filling my Bankruptcy I had so many doubts and questions and felt completely stuck, Thankfully I came across AAA Law Counsel. Rob and Charles answered all my questions and made the whole process feel like a breeze. Best decision I've made should have done it sooner! Not to mention they are a 3rd of the price of other Attorneys. I highly recommend AAA Law Counsel you won't be disappointed!

I was skeptical at first, but talking to Rob, he made me feel safe and explained everything to me very well and answered every question I had. Rob was very detail oriented with the whole process and gained my trust immediately. I would highly recommend.

If I could give 100 stars, I would! Seriously! I’ve never dealt with legal matters or court docs, especially bankruptcy before. I called and dealt with 3 other law firms before I found Rob and was quoted insane prices! Granted lawyers need to make their money but as a working class citizen in a tight spot (having my wages garnished), I couldn’t afford very much to hire an attorney… Rob charges an extremely reasonable amount and is incredibly intelligent, personable, and reliable!!!! Before Rob, I felt like my life was spiraling out of financial control. After Rob, I have financial freedom!!!!!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Rob and his team for any bankruptcy needs!!!!
