Fired. He says one thing in a meeting then says nothing in court. This has caused our case to be dragged on for months. He didn’t provide critical documents to us resulting in it costing us over twenty thousand dollars. He then sends us bills when he has literally done nothing productive-quite the contrary. I regret not firing him months ago.

Based on publicly available information, including client reviews, Abraham Law appears to offer legal services in areas that typically fall under civil litigation, specifically family law matters such as child custody. While an exhaustive list of all services is not provided, the feedback directly mentions custody hearings and issues related to fathers' rights in out-of-wedlock situations. This suggests a practice that handles sensitive family disputes, which often involve complex legal procedures and emotional considerations.

The features of a legal practice, in terms of client interaction and service delivery, are often reflected in client feedback. One reviewer indicated a significant concern regarding communication and productivity, stating that the attorney "says one thing in a meeting then says nothing in court," which allegedly led to the case being "dragged on for months." This client also reported issues with critical documents not being provided, resulting in substantial costs, and expressed regret over not terminating the representation sooner due to a perceived lack of productive work. Another review, specifically from a father involved in a custody hearing, advised against contacting this lawyer, citing that he "is not pro Dads, doesn’t respond and doesn’t value a paying client, especially at 350 an Hr." This feedback highlights areas of concern regarding communication, responsiveness, client value perception, and alignment with client expectations in specific types of family law cases.

Promotional information, such as details about Attorney Stephen G. Abraham's background, education, and specific legal philosophies, is not extensively detailed in the provided data. However, the firm operates with the standard practice of charging an hourly rate, as indicated by the client's mention of "$350 an Hr." This is a common billing structure for legal services. The firm's inclusion within the "Lawyers Near Me" category implies a focus on serving the local community of Worcester and its vicinity.

It is important for potential clients to consider the entirety of publicly available information, including varied perspectives, when choosing legal representation. The nature of legal disputes often involves high stakes and emotional intensity, and client experiences can vary widely. For matters concerning family law, such as child custody, the attorney-client relationship, including communication style and responsiveness, is frequently cited as a crucial factor in client satisfaction. The feedback suggests that prospective clients might wish to conduct thorough due diligence, perhaps by scheduling an initial consultation to directly assess communication styles and to ensure that the attorney's approach aligns with their specific expectations and needs, particularly concerning the issues raised in the available reviews.

Given the nature of the reviews, which specifically mention issues related to communication, responsiveness, and perceived effectiveness in court, it is critical for anyone considering Abraham Law or Attorney Stephen G. Abraham for representation to discuss these aspects thoroughly during initial consultations. Understanding the firm's approach to client communication, case management, and courtroom strategy would be vital in making an informed decision, especially for sensitive and high-stakes legal matters like custody disputes.

In summary, Abraham Law, with Attorney Stephen G. Abraham at its helm, provides legal services in Worcester, MA, particularly in areas like family law and civil litigation, as indicated by available public feedback. If you’re a father Out of wedlock and looking for help in a custody hearing do not contact this lawyer. He is not pro Dads, doesn’t respond and doesn’t value a paying client. Especially at 350 an Hr. Avoid the extra stress this “LAYWER” will put you through.
