Absolutely rude and unprofessional experience. Never even spoke to an attorney. They want to “screen,” you first. Kindly remember, human beings recovering from major surgeries while fighting with SSD don’t exactly have the energy to explain their situations over and over again. Simply requested an attorney consultation and was told “we don’t do that.”

Navigating the complex process of applying for or appealing a Social Security Disability (SSD) claim can be a daunting and emotionally taxing experience, especially for individuals dealing with significant health challenges. For residents of New York City facing such difficulties, American Disability Advocates, Inc., located at 211 E 43rd St #608, offers specialized legal advocacy. As a listed entity on the "Lawyers Near Me" platform, they aim to connect with local users who require expert assistance in their battles with the Social Security Administration (SSA). This introduction will provide an objective overview of the potential environment, services, features, and any discernible promotional aspects of American Disability Advocates, Inc., based on the available customer reviews.

The "Lawyers Near Me" platform serves as a crucial resource for individuals seeking specific legal expertise within their geographic area. American Disability Advocates, Inc.'s presence on this platform underscores their focus on serving the New York City community with readily accessible legal services tailored to Social Security Disability claims. For those facing denials or struggling with the application process, finding a local firm specializing in this area can be a significant advantage.

Situated in a commercial building in Midtown Manhattan, American Disability Advocates, Inc. likely operates within a professional office environment suitable for client consultations and case management. Located on the 6th floor of 211 E 43rd St, clients can expect a setting where they can discuss their sensitive medical and financial situations with legal professionals. The accessibility of their office via public transportation ensures convenience for clients from various parts of New York City.

Based on the company name and the content of the customer reviews, the primary service offered by American Disability Advocates, Inc., is legal representation and advocacy for individuals pursuing Social Security Disability benefits. Their services likely include:

  • Initial Application Assistance: Guiding clients through the initial application process for SSD benefits.
  • Appeals Representation: Assisting clients with the appeals process if their initial application is denied.
  • Hearing Representation: Representing clients at hearings before an Administrative Law Judge.
  • Communication with SSA: Acting as a point of contact between the client and the Social Security Administration.
  • Gathering and Presenting Medical Evidence: Helping clients compile and present the necessary medical documentation to support their claims.
  • Legal Guidance and Support: Providing clients with information, advice, and support throughout the often lengthy and complex SSD process.

The customer reviews provide contrasting perspectives on the features of American Disability Advocates, Inc. One review describes a "rude and unprofessional experience" where the individual was subjected to a screening process without speaking to an attorney and was denied a direct attorney consultation. This suggests a potentially impersonal initial intake process. However, the second review offers a starkly different perspective, describing the firm as a "God sent" and highlighting their effectiveness in helping a client who had been battling the SSA for three years to finally get approved after enlisting their services. This positive review emphasizes the firm's ability to navigate the complexities of SSD claims and achieve successful outcomes for their clients. Key features, based on these reviews, could include:

  • Specialization in Social Security Disability: The firm focuses specifically on SSD claims.
  • Screening Process: There appears to be an initial screening process before potential clients can consult with an attorney.
  • Potential for Positive Outcomes: At least one client experienced significant success after retaining their services.
  • Understanding of SSA Processes: The firm is described as helpful for those "fighting with SSA," suggesting familiarity with the administration's procedures.
  • Assistance with Appeals and Hearings: The successful case involved a hearing, indicating representation at this stage.

The customer reviews offer mixed signals regarding the promotional aspects of American Disability Advocates, Inc. The positive review, with its strong emotional language ("God sent," "huge relief"), serves as a powerful testimonial and implicit promotion of their effectiveness in securing SSD benefits. This suggests that the firm's primary promotional strength lies in their ability to deliver results for clients who have struggled with the SSA. However, the negative review detailing a rude and unprofessional initial experience could deter potential clients. Any promotional efforts would need to address concerns about the initial intake process and ensure a more positive and direct interaction for prospective clients seeking attorney consultations. Potential promotional aspects include:

  • Success in SSD Claims: The positive review highlights their ability to help clients get approved for benefits.
  • Specialized Focus: Their specialization in SSD law positions them as experts in this field.

Local users in New York City considering American Disability Advocates, Inc., for their SSD needs should be aware of the contrasting experiences reported by previous potential clients. While one reviewer had a negative initial interaction, another experienced significant success after retaining their services. This suggests that while the firm may have the expertise to achieve positive outcomes in SSD cases, the initial client intake process might not meet everyone's expectations. Potential clients may wish to inquire specifically about the consultation process and ensure it aligns with their needs and expectations, especially given the often vulnerable state of individuals pursuing disability claims.

Given the nature of SSD cases, which often involve extensive medical documentation and complex legal procedures, a firm specializing in this area can provide invaluable assistance. The successful outcome reported by one client indicates that American Disability Advocates, Inc., has the potential to effectively represent individuals in their fight with the SSA. However, the reported negative initial experience underscores the importance of clear communication and a client-centered approach from the outset.

In conclusion, American Disability Advocates, Inc., as listed on the "Lawyers Near Me" platform, specializes in Social Security Disability claims in New York City. While one potential client reported a negative initial experience, another praised their effectiveness in securing benefits after a lengthy struggle with the SSA. Local users seeking assistance with their SSD claims may find value in their specialized knowledge, but should also be mindful of the reported issues with the initial intake process. Contacting American Disability Advocates, Inc., at (347) 535-5211 to discuss their specific situation could provide further clarity, while keeping in mind the varying experiences of past potential clients.

They really help me and I recommend their services to anyone fighting with SSA. I’ve been in a constant battle with SSA for 3 years. My doctors wrote letters, over 25 medications daily and not being able to work but they kept denying me. Once I abstained their services, I was approved at me hearing. Such a huge relief has been lifted off of me. I don’t have to depend on others for income or continue hurting myself trying to work and constantly being fired. American Disability Advocates are God sent ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Thank you all from the bottom of my heart ❤️

This was a long process but with patience and Liz from Eddy Pierre Pierre American Disability Advocates office it went favorably, Elizabeth Bellofatto (Liz) is amazing and very knowledgeable she was so attentive towards me and responded to my questions and concerns quickly, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND, also when my decision was made Eddy Pierre Pierre called me personally to congratulate me, they both payed attention to me now isn’t that what we all want is to be heard and treated fairly, if you do need help with this process which I recommend, call Eddy Pierre Pierre and Elizabeth Bellofatto (Liz). I did.

American Disability Advocates are the people to use when applying for SSDI benefits. Their staff is very professional, responsive, and understanding, especially Liz. I was initially denied and had to take the steps to request a hearing. They took care of everything for me without stepping a foot in their office. This firm is clear about what they need and what information to provide, and I was awarded SSDI thanks to them. Job well done, I couldn’t ask for a better team.

They have been amazing. Stacy and Liz are very helpful and so were the other two ladies I talked to I believe it was Tracy and I think Jasmine or a Janet idk I forgot sorry. I'm still in the process of everything and they keep me informed of things and what I need to do. It's been a long road but praying things finally work out. Thank you for helping me and continuing to fight for me.
