he seems to either be terribly unprepared or just doesn't care what he's doing. my cousin is trying to not get deported and he doesn't file paperwork that needed to be done weeks before hearings. then plays dumb about things. My cousin reiterates that he never told him to keep the case private from my aunt, and he claims he did. he cops out and is robbing her for just showing up and doing nothing. my cousin's case is being neglected and when my aunt (his mother) keeps calling for an explanation about things, he doesn't reply. i want you to notice this review and call me immediately or send an email. more are on the way from each family member until you do.

Andres Bustamante Law Offices Introduce

Welcome to Lawyers Near Me, your platform for connecting with legal professionals in your local area. Today, we are presenting information about the Andres Bustamante Law Offices, located at 1270 E Garvey St #240, Covina, CA 91724, USA. Situated in a commercial building on East Garvey Street in Covina, the Andres Bustamante Law Offices is positioned to offer legal services to the residents of Covina and surrounding communities. However, it is crucial for potential clients to carefully consider the information available regarding this law office before making any decisions.

Based on recent reviews from individuals claiming to be clients or related to clients of the Andres Bustamante Law Offices, there are significant concerns raised regarding the firm's service, communication, and handling of cases. These reviews paint a concerning picture and warrant careful consideration by anyone seeking legal representation from this office.

One reviewer expresses serious concerns about the handling of their cousin's potential deportation case. The allegations include a failure to file necessary paperwork in a timely manner, specifically mentioning documents that were reportedly needed weeks before scheduled hearings. The reviewer also claims that the attorney, Andres Bustamante, appeared unprepared and feigned ignorance about important aspects of the case. Furthermore, there is a dispute regarding whether the cousin instructed the attorney to keep the case private from the aunt, with the reviewer stating that the cousin denies giving such an instruction, while the attorney allegedly claimed otherwise. The reviewer accuses the attorney of "copping out" and "robbing" the aunt by allegedly charging fees despite a perceived lack of action on the case. A significant accusation is that the cousin's case is being "neglected," and that attempts by the cousin's mother (the aunt) to obtain explanations about the case have gone unanswered. The reviewer, identifying themselves as a concerned family member, urges immediate contact from the attorney and threatens further negative reviews from other family members until a response is received.

Another, more detailed review paints an even more alarming picture of the services allegedly provided by the Andres Bustamante Law Offices, specifically mentioning interactions with Andres Bustamante, as well as individuals named Nelson and Delia who apparently worked at the firm. This reviewer claims to have been in the immigration process for three years and alleges being overcharged, having to pay visa fees three times due to alleged failures in communication with immigration authorities. A particularly concerning allegation involves being made to pay for a waiver for the reviewer's daughter when she was purportedly a minor (17 years old). The reviewer states that Nelson was initially in charge of their case for a year and a half, during which time the case allegedly made no progress, and communication was lacking despite the reviewer's repeated attempts to contact the firm. The reviewer claims they were then informed that Nelson had returned to school, and no one took over their case until Delia became involved.

The review further accuses Delia of being dishonest and of improperly handling finances. The reviewer alleges giving Delia cash to pay visa fees a second time (after already paying with Nelson) and also providing personal checks as a backup, with the understanding that the cash would be used and the checks returned. The reviewer claims this did not happen, alleging that Delia kept the cash and used the checks, stating they have bank statements as proof. The reviewer describes repeated instances of having to drive from Sanana to Los Angeles for appointments where Delia allegedly provided no new information. A critical allegation is that Delia failed to send necessary waivers and marriage evidence to immigration, resulting in a warning letter from immigration threatening to close the case if the documents were not received within a month. The reviewer claims they had to initiate contact with Delia to receive this crucial information a week before the deadline.

The reviewer states they subsequently sought help from another attorney, Juan Laguna, who successfully obtained their green card within seven months. Based on this experience, the reviewer strongly advises against trusting Delia, Nelson, or Andres Bustamante. The reviewer claims that in three years, their only interactions with Andres Bustamante were regarding payments and money. Additionally, the reviewer alleges being referred to a psychologist by the firm who purportedly charged exorbitant fees ($900 for an evaluation valid for only one year, requiring a $700 repeat evaluation due to case delays) and provided questionable service (the husband allegedly barely interacted with the psychologist). The reviewer recounts further issues, including Delia allegedly asking them to sign a document stating the firm did not keep copies of their case file (which the reviewer believes was untrue) and repeated problems with payments not being properly credited to their account, requiring multiple trips to the office to rectify.

The reviewer concludes with strong negative assessments of Delia (calling her "the biggest liar"), Nelson ("a total incompetent"), and the front desk staff ("the words" - likely meaning "the worst"). The overall tone of this review is one of extreme dissatisfaction, alleging significant financial harm, neglect, misrepresentation, and detrimental impact on the reviewer's immigration process.

Considering the platform category "Lawyers Near Me," these reviews present serious concerns for any potential clients considering the Andres Bustamante Law Offices in Covina. The allegations include lack of preparation, case neglect, failure to communicate, potential overcharging, mishandling of funds, and providing inaccurate information. These are critical issues that any individual seeking legal representation should carefully evaluate.

Given the severity and detail of the negative feedback, it would be prudent for potential clients to exercise extreme caution and conduct thorough due diligence before engaging the services of the Andres Bustamante Law Offices. This due diligence might include seeking additional reviews from other sources, verifying the attorney's standing with the state bar, and potentially seeking consultations with other attorneys in the area to compare services and reputations.

It is important to present this information objectively, as it is based solely on the publicly available reviews. However, the nature and consistency of the negative feedback raise significant red flags. Potential clients should weigh these concerns heavily when considering their legal options in the Covina area.

For local users browsing "Lawyers Near Me" in Covina, it is recommended to thoroughly research and consider all available information before selecting a legal representative. The experiences shared by these reviewers regarding the Andres Bustamante Law Offices highlight the importance of careful selection and the potential pitfalls of choosing a firm that may not provide the expected level of professional and ethical service. While every client's experience can vary, the issues raised in these reviews warrant serious consideration.

He is the worst lawyer ever . I was in the process for three years they overcharge me I have to pay The visas three times because they didn’t keep Contact with immigration they make me pay a waiver for my daughter when she was 17 years old not even 18 years old she’s was a minor. at the beginning of the process the one in charge for my case it was Nelson For a year and a half my case didn’t move I didn’t even got a call for them and I was calling and calling and they told me that he went back to school and nobody take care of my case and Then Delia Took over my case she’s the biggest liar she still money from me because I give her cash to pay the visas Again Because we already pay visas with Nelson and she asked me for personal checks just in case because she said that she was going to try to pay with the lawyer car and she will give me my money back that didn’t happen She keeps my cash and she use my checks and I have a proof of that I have the statements And it was lia after lia I live in Sanana and I have to drive to LA For nothing because she will keep repeating herself . and she got a letter from immigration saying that she didn’t send their waivers none of the papers that I gave her to prove my marriage with my husband she never sent anything and immigration sent a letter saying that if they don’t get anything in a month they were going to close my caseAnd she didn’t call me I was the one calling her and she give me that letter a week before my deadline and I went to a real responsible lawyer his name is Juan Laguna and seven months later I got my green card. The best advice don’t trust Delia or Nelson or Andres Bustamante in three years I only talk to him when we talk about payments and money and on top of that they refer us to a psychologist Who it was a total scam would charge us $900 for a Evaluation for my husband To see how it was going to affect him if they deport me and it was only good for one year and because my case didn’t move we have to do it again and it was another $700 my husband never talk to this guy wen my husband got there he just start typing on his computer and print that evaluation. I can go on on and on It was a nightmare and when I ask for my paperwork and all my case Delia want me to sign a paper saying that they don’t keep any copies of my case when they did have copies of everything . And when I used to send the payments my balance never went down because more than five times they didn’t put my payments in my account I have to drive all the way over there to show my statements and my receipts of my deposits The biggest liar it’s Delia and she knows. And Nelson is a total incompetent. It was so hard for me to get a hold of any of them because the front desk people they are the words.

I got passed on to Bustamante by another attorney I hired to represent me and Bustamante didn’t help me out at all . They just collected the money and just showed no interest in presenting me . He didn’t even show up to my court date and his office never informed me about my court dates I was the one that had to get information about my case from the court . Avoid the hassle and the robbery .
