I went to Belinda for council for my divorce. I wrote down what I believed was fair to be stated in the divorce papers with the paralegal. Belinda just signed off on them rather than going over it with me to make proper changes. I didn't know what I was doing and without her actually revising and helping me, I ended up getting royally screwed in my divorce because she just signed off and submitted them to the court. I also never received one itemized statement or bill from her. I paid my retainer which I believe is $2500 and never received a penny back. We never went to court and I only had a handful of appointments with her that were brief. When asking her for a receipt of itemized documents stating what she had done for me and the cost, she never provided and just told me that everything ended up costing exactly what my retainer was. After being persistent she responded with "if you really want that statement you are going to end up owing more." She was very unprofessional, didn't seem to really care about her clients after the retainer was paid. Worst experience I have ever had with working with an attorney. I highly recommend choosing someone else.

For direct contact, the firm’s phone number is (253) 627-8777, and a mobile phone number is also available at +1 253-627-8777. While specific operating hours are not explicitly stated, law offices typically operate during standard business hours, Monday through Friday, with appointments scheduled to accommodate client needs.
The environment at Armijo Law Office presents a mixed picture based on client feedback. One reviewer describes an "older Attorney" as a "fine gentleman," "knowledgable, concerning and exprienced," who "will take care of your case like a family member will deal and try his best." This suggests that directly interacting with this particular attorney can be a positive experience, characterized by personal care and legal expertise. However, the same review critically notes that the "clerks/stuffs are number non helpful, rude and disorganized clerks I have ever seen." This indicates a potential inconsistency in the overall client experience, with administrative support possibly hindering the otherwise positive interactions with the attorney. Another client's experience with "Belinda" raises concerns about lack of thorough review of documents, insufficient client communication, and issues with billing transparency, which could lead to a frustrating experience. The overall environment, therefore, appears to be one where the quality of client interaction and support can vary depending on the individual within the firm a client interacts with, highlighting areas for potential improvement in administrative organization and client communication protocols.
Based on the provided reviews, the services offered by Armijo Law Office appear to include family law matters, specifically divorce, and general legal representation where an experienced attorney is involved. The reviews highlight:
While the specific types of cases beyond divorce are not detailed in the available information, the general positive sentiment towards the "older Attorney" suggests a versatile practice. However, the critical feedback on administrative support highlights a need for clients to be proactive in seeking clear communication and documentation.
The features of Armijo Law Office are somewhat bifurcated by the contrasting client experiences. On one hand, a significant feature is the reported knowledge, concern, and experience of the "older Attorney" who is willing to treat a case with personal dedication, akin to a "family member." This attorney's commitment to trying "his best" for the client is a strong positive attribute. This suggests a practice where direct legal advice and representation from a seasoned professional can be a valuable asset. On the other hand, the firm's administrative support, described as "unhelpful, rude and disorganized," represents a considerable drawback. Issues such as the alleged lack of itemized statements, unexpected billing practices, and insufficient revision of critical documents without proper client consultation point to significant operational challenges. The lack of detailed itemized billing statements and the alleged response of "if you really want that statement you are going to end up owing more" raise concerns about transparency and client financial management. This stark contrast between the positive aspects of the attorney's direct legal work and the negative aspects of the administrative process is a critical characteristic of the firm.
Promotional information for Armijo Law Office, based solely on the provided reviews, presents a complex picture. The praise for the "older Attorney" serves as a strong, organic endorsement, highlighting his knowledge, experience, and personalized approach ("will take care of your case like a family member"). This positive feedback suggests that the firm's strength lies in the direct legal counsel provided by this particular attorney. Potential clients seeking an experienced and caring lawyer would likely be drawn to these comments. However, the severe criticism regarding the staff's unprofessionalism, disorganization, and lack of helpfulness, coupled with concerns about billing transparency and insufficient client guidance, acts as a significant counter-promotion. Phrases like "Worst experience I have ever had with working with an attorney" and "I highly recommend choosing someone else" directly advise against using their services. In a competitive market, these negative reviews can significantly impact client acquisition. For the firm to promote itself effectively, addressing the administrative and communication issues highlighted by dissatisfied clients would be crucial to ensure that the positive attributes of the experienced attorney are not overshadowed by operational shortcomings. The firm's objective seems to be providing knowledgeable legal counsel, but the consistent negative feedback on support staff indicates a gap in consistently delivering a positive client experience.
