When considering legal representation in Arizona, particularly within the Tucson area, for critical matters such as immigration proceedings, it is essential for local residents to exercise extreme diligence in their selection process. Based on the experiences detailed by former clients, Ayala Law Office, P.C., despite its central location at 70 W Franklin St, presents significant red flags that potential clients in the Arizona community should be acutely aware of.
The consistent themes emerging from client reviews—including frequent attorney changes, reported lack of preparedness in court, missed deadlines, insufficient direct attorney involvement, and poor communication—suggest a pattern of operational issues that can severely jeopardize a client's legal standing and well-being. For vulnerable individuals, such as those in removal proceedings, these reported deficiencies can lead to devastating consequences, as evidenced by denied bond requests and ruined chances for adjustment of status, directly impacting their lives and families. The judicial comments cited in one review, specifically calling out the firm's lack of effort and preparedness, serve as a stark warning. The admission from the firm itself about being "overwhelmed with work" and "very behind on several cases" highlights potential systemic issues regarding workload management and staffing that directly impact client service.
For locals in Arizona, these insights underscore the critical importance of not solely relying on convenience or initial cost when choosing legal representation, particularly in high-stakes cases. It emphasizes the need for thorough research, including reading multiple reviews, inquiring about attorney-to-client ratios, understanding communication policies, and clarifying who will directly handle their case. While the firm's location in Tucson might be convenient, the profound negative impacts reported by former clients suggest that for locals seeking reliable, prepared, and consistently engaged legal advocacy, alternative options that demonstrate a proven track record of diligent and client-focused service would likely be more suitable and safeguard their legal interests effectively.

Feb 27, 2025 · Carolina DurazoPlease stay away from this law firm if you are looking for any immigration legal representation in court. I hired them to represent my mother in her removal proceedings and they ruined any chances they had at getting bond. According to the judge, they never completed documents on time and were never prepared for the hearings, which resulted in multiple delays. Moreover, when our new attorney attended a hearing for a new bond request based on circumstantial changes in her case, the judge made it clear that it was too late to request a bond because her previous attorneys from Ayala Law Firm never made the effort to prove her eligibility. He emphasized that if things were done right the first time things would have been different. Not my words, but the judges. How bad does a law firm have to be to call them out during a hearing…? You tell me. After her bond was denied we decided to move forward with Ayala and apply for my mother´s adjustment of status which was also mistreated. The attorney never showed up in person to the hearings, and never even made the effort to go see my mother besides the first time we hired them. Siovahna only went back to see her after we made complaints and pulled back from their representation. The first thing the attorney did was try to make a laugh out of the situation by asking why my mother was still detained as if it wasn´t due to their negligence. My mother was only ever attended by paralegals and never an actual attorney. Not to mention that to hear back from them you have to reach out yourself multiple times. They never call back. When we decided to pull out all they did was apologize and take accountability for their negligence. They said that they were very overwhelmed with work and that they were very behind on several cases. This is not surprising. They are a disgusting law firm that takes advantage of people's vulnerabilities and refuses to hire attorneys to balance out the workload. My mother is not the only person who has been jeopardized due to their negligence. In fact, the woman who recommended them to her had to voluntarily leave the United States because they represented her poorly, and she did not have enough funds to seek more help from another attorney. I have never written a Google review in my life. I wasn´t going to but when you consider that most of these women detained are mothers with lives outside, I can't help but feel responsible for warning people. I understand these are hard times, but please do your research and do not go with the cheapest law firm. If you don´t have enough staff to take on the work, then either be more selective of the cases or hire more people. It isn´t rocket science. Disgusting.
Dec 11, 2024 · Fatima TorresIn my original search for an immigration attorney I contacted the Arizona and Tucson Bar Associations. A few firms were referred to me. Upon calling the firms I was referred to Ayala Law. I made an appointment with the principle attorney, Siovhan Ayala. After that meeting I began referring immigrants who needed counsel to this firm. I have found all people at the firm to be very professional and thorough in their profession.
Nov 09, 2024 · Laurence OlivierNot recommended at all. I paid them $2500 to start working on my friend case while she was in detention. The lawyer did not deliver documents to the court as expected and will tell us they did when the judge said during the hearing they had not received anything. Then they did not answer the phone and stopped helping my friend and as a result she was deported. We waisted our money on this agency and they did worst to my friend case. Don’t walk run away from them!
