I contacted Barrett & Farahany for a consultation regarding my case against my former employer. I confirmed my appointment for 9:30 AM on March 10, 2025, but no exact time or format was provided beyond a vague assurance that “someone would call.” When I followed up that morning to clarify the time, I was told there was no set appointment—just that an available attorney would reach out. Two attorneys, Shannah Sacco and Nicholas Chester, ended up calling me simultaneously, which sent both calls to voicemail. I immediately called back and explained what happened to the receptionist, who simply said, “I don’t know about that.” She didn’t ask for the attorneys’ names or attempt to transfer me, then hung up. I made multiple back-to-back return calls at 3:33 PM, 3:35 PM, and 3:37 PM, but none were answered. I also sent follow-up emails to both Shannah and Nicholas requesting a response and confirmation that my case details would remain confidential—I received no reply. Then, eight days later, on March 18, 2025 at 6:34 PM—after the office had already closed—I received an unexpected voicemail from Attorney Michelle Reid. She stated they had tried to contact me three times and that I would be removed from their client list for not responding. This was especially frustrating, as I had followed up immediately after the missed calls and had not been informed of any expectations regarding scheduling or how many attempts would be made. I also emailed Amanda Farahany directly to express my concerns about the unprofessional handling of my consultation and the lack of communication. As someone with ASD and anxiety, this experience was not only stressful but disheartening—especially considering the sensitive nature of my case.

This review highlights the importance for potential clients to consider various sources of information and potentially inquire directly about the firm's consultation process and client communication practices.

Given that this review describes issues with the initial contact and scheduling, it does not provide information about specific promotional offers or the quality of legal representation in cases handled by the firm. Individuals considering Barrett & Farahany for their employment law needs may want to inquire about their consultation process, communication protocols, and the experience and qualifications of the attorneys who would be handling their case. It is advisable to have clear expectations regarding communication and scheduling when engaging with any legal service provider.

While the information provided indicates a focus on employment law and a physical presence in Midtown Atlanta, the detailed customer review suggests potential areas for consideration regarding client communication and initial intake procedures. As with any service provider, individual experiences can vary, and it is recommended that prospective clients conduct thorough research and potentially seek multiple opinions before making a decision on legal representation. Contacting Barrett & Farahany directly at (404) 487-0903 to discuss your specific employment law needs and to understand their client service approach may be a helpful step in your decision-making process. In conclusion, Barrett & Farahany is an Atlanta-based law firm specializing in employment law, offering services related to workplace discrimination, wrongful termination, wage and hour claims, and employment agreements. While their location in Midtown Atlanta offers accessibility, a recent customer review highlights potential concerns regarding their initial consultation and communication processes. I scheduled a consultation expecting professionalism and guidance, but instead, I was met with a dismissive tone, unnecessary rudeness, and a complete lack of respect for my time and concerns. The attorney seemed more interested in brushing me off than actually listening to the details of my case. I wasn’t looking for a cheerleader—I wanted honest legal advice. What I didn’t expect was to be treated like an inconvenience. If you’re looking for an attorney who listens, respects your experience, and treats you with basic human decency, I’d strongly suggest looking elsewhere. First impressions matter, and this one told me everything I needed to know.

I'm so grateful for the opportunity to speak with Laura! She was informative, listened attentively, and addressed all of my questions. I'm confident about the options available moving forward and appreciate the resources she shared with me. Thank you!

If I could give a negative review, I would. I chose this firm for an employment case after considering other options because they assured me of their support and commitment. Over a year and a half, I provided substantial evidence and endured an exhaustive deposition covering personal details of my life. We had even reached the point of settlement offers. However, after one of my primary attorneys was terminated, the firm abruptly dropped me as a client without offering any alternative representation within their team. At this stage, after their extensive involvement, it's nearly impossible to find another firm willing to take on my case, which has essentially been rendered unworkable due to their lack of diligence. I even offered to assist with motions, as I have some experience, hoping they might finish what they started, but they declined. As a single mother unable to work for over a year, I relied on their commitment, and I am deeply disappointed by their lack of empathy and professionalism. Their actions have left me in an incredibly difficult position, and I urge others to consider this experience when seeking reliable representation.

I wish i could just give a zero rating. After wasting my time explaining my entire case to their assistant then they scheduled me for 2 weeks later to speak to the attorney. I had a family emergency and called/emailed to notify them to change the appointment, of course no reply then i received a message from this lawyer name ianna Richardson who proceeded to tell me that unfortunately she cannot handle my case because she's out of capacity. I'm sure you are not the only lawyer in the firm, so technically they just rejected my case because of their lack of communication. After moving here in Georgia for a year i can only conclude that business owners have no respect and just lies to waste your time even a lawyers office.
