I was going through a rough divorce. Joanna made it seem like she cared at first. I never received an invoice and I found out she continued to perform work that I did not authorize. After paying her $6k in less than 2 months (after my retainer), she said I needed to give her more money. I received an electronic invoice for roughly $1300 and I paid it. She called and said that she still needed more and although the electronic invoice (one of the first I got) said $1300, it wasn’t enough. She then held my divorce hostage until I fired her. She wrote an indemnification letter for me during that time and I was charged for it. After she was fired, I asked her to send me the letter that was already written and paid for. She did just that. One year later I get a bill for $75 that turned into $154 for the letter that I already paid for. When I asked for the invoice it stated she reviewed the letter, pulled it and redacted it at the clients request. I have the email. All I said was can you please send the letter that was already written. She is not truthful and she only wants your money.

I have been with Joanna for many years on and off. Once I had her on my side she was dedicated to me and my never ending case. I didn’t like when she put me in my place but that means she’s fair. Today she stuck up for me in a way that truly showed that she gives a shit about me as a human. Today was a good day!!!! Finally!!! She stuck by my side for a year and a half through an awful coparenting situation. I appreciate you Joanna. 😊 And I thank you for this beautiful outcome. You made my heart 💜 happy.
