Unless you have a lucrative, slam-dunk case, these guys seemingly aren't interested in providing any legal services. My family and I contacted attorney Lisa Hanger for a phone consultation, in regard to an ongoing harassment dispute involving my neighbor, and the homeowners association. Objectively, I wanted an attorney to send a cease and desist letter to my neighbor, and/or the HOA, who were admittedly, and repeatedly, not adhering to their own CC&Rs and violation notice guidelines. Without even bothering to read the CC&Rs, or any written correspondence we provided, Lisa was quick to turn us down. She kept rambling on about a hypothetical scenario: "If I wanted to sue the neighbor for a million dollars, blah, blah, blah..." Well, um, no. I made it fairly clear that I was not interested in pursuing some huge lawsuit for financial gain (which perhaps she wanted, but deemed unfeasible). On a positive note, attorney Hanger did provide a fairly informative, but somewhat myopic legal overview, and advised that filing an IAH (Harassment Injunction) against the neighbor would be my best recourse. Final thoughts...As a 25-year resident of Southern California with multiple legal experiences, I can say that Arizona lawyers are an entirely different breed of attorney; noticeably less enterprising and lower in caliber. 2.5 stars.

Brown and Associates, PLLC Introduce

Welcome to Lawyers Near Me, your platform for connecting with legal professionals. Today, we present an objective overview of Brown and Associates, PLLC, located at 5355 W Chandler Blvd Suite 7 in Chandler, Arizona. It is crucial to consider all available feedback when choosing legal representation, and the recent reviews for this firm present a concerning picture that potential clients in the Chandler area should be aware of.

While specific details about the interior environment of Brown and Associates, PLLC are not provided in the reviews, the location in a commercial building on West Chandler Boulevard suggests a standard professional office setting. Accessibility for local residents in Chandler is likely adequate. However, the negative experiences shared by recent clients overshadow any assumptions about the office environment's impact on service quality.

The limited information available makes it difficult to definitively state the full range of legal services offered by Brown and Associates, PLLC. One review mentions a consultation regarding a harassment dispute involving a neighbor and a homeowners association, suggesting the firm may handle civil matters or disputes of this nature. Another review indicates an attempt to engage the firm for the simple task of writing a letter. However, the negative outcomes reported in these reviews raise serious questions about the firm's ability to effectively deliver these services.

Based on the direct experiences shared by two recent clients, several concerning features of Brown and Associates, PLLC emerge:

  • Lack of Interest in Certain Cases: One reviewer explicitly states that the attorney, Lisa Hanger, seemed uninterested in providing legal services for a harassment dispute that was not perceived as a "lucrative, slam-dunk case." This raises concerns about the firm's selectivity and potential unwillingness to assist with less complex, yet still important, legal matters.
  • Failure to Review Key Information: The same reviewer noted that the attorney did not bother to read the provided CC&Rs or written correspondence related to their case before declining to offer assistance. This lack of due diligence in the initial consultation is highly unprofessional and suggests a dismissive approach to potential clients' issues.
  • Unresponsiveness and Disorganization: Another client described the firm as "mostly unresponsive and unorganized." This is a significant red flag, as effective legal representation relies heavily on timely communication and meticulous organization.
  • Inability to Comprehend Simple Matters: This same reviewer stated that they worked directly with "Brown," who "couldn't comprehend simple things." Such an accusation regarding an attorney's understanding is deeply troubling and suggests a lack of competence.
  • Failure to Deliver Services After Payment: One of the most serious allegations is that the firm failed to take any action on a paid case for 30 days. Subsequently, they reportedly offered a refund and advised the client to find a different lawyer, indicating a complete failure to fulfill their professional obligations.
  • Unprofessional Conduct: The same client labeled their experience as "very unprofessional" and specifically advised others to "stay away" from working with "Brown." This strong condemnation highlights a severely negative client experience.
  • Poor Time Management: The client whose simple letter was not written in a timely manner also pointed out that the firm was aware of the time-sensitive nature of their case and should not have agreed to take it if they could not handle it promptly. This demonstrates a lack of professional responsibility and consideration for the client's needs.

Given the overwhelmingly negative nature of the recent reviews, it is impossible to identify any positive promotional aspects or unique selling points for Brown and Associates, PLLC based solely on this information. In fact, the feedback strongly suggests that potential clients should exercise extreme caution when considering engaging this firm for legal services.

The stark contrast between the expectation of professional legal service and the reported experiences of unresponsiveness, disorganization, lack of interest, and failure to perform contracted work paints a deeply concerning picture of Brown and Associates, PLLC. For local users in Chandler, Arizona, seeking legal assistance through Lawyers Near Me, it is imperative to weigh these negative reviews heavily. While every individual's experience can vary, the consistency and severity of the issues raised by these clients should not be ignored.

Instead of highlighting promotional information, this objective introduction must serve as a warning based on the available client feedback. Potential clients are strongly advised to consider these experiences and potentially seek legal representation elsewhere to ensure their legal matters are handled with professionalism, competence, and due diligence. The address for Brown and Associates, PLLC is 5355 W Chandler Blvd Suite 7, Chandler, AZ 85226, USA, and their phone number is (480) 656-8358 or +1 480-656-8358. However, based on the recent client reviews, contacting this firm may lead to significant dissatisfaction.

In conclusion, while Lawyers Near Me aims to provide information about legal services in your area, the recent feedback regarding Brown and Associates, PLLC necessitates a cautious approach. The reported issues of unresponsiveness, disorganization, lack of interest in certain cases, and failure to deliver services are serious concerns. Local users in Chandler seeking legal representation are strongly encouraged to consider these reviews and potentially explore other legal options to ensure their needs are met with professionalism and competence.

Bad experience. Mostly they are unresponsive and unorganized. Worked directly with Brown, who couldn't comprehend simple things. Stay away. We made an agreement, I paid him, 30 days later, nothing was done, and they are going to give me money back and said I should find a different lawyer. The only thing I asked is they write a letter on my behalf, probably something a higher schooler could do. Very unprofessional. They knew my case was time sensitive and if they couldn't do the job in a reasonable amount of time, they should not agree to take it. Basic stuff in the professional world. If you want very unprofessional, work with Brown. Record all your conversations with these guys. 馃槉

Don't hire this law firm for anything. They'll just take your money and accomplish nothing. I paid them $2000 towards a bankrupcy and I never once had a face to face meeting with anyone, they weren't very helpful when I asked how I could accomplish the tasks they were asking of me. Why should I even be doing all these tasks? Isn't that what I paid them for? When things weren't getting accomplished and I asked for a refund, they said they'll only give me $300 back, which I'm still waiting for. They also refused to give me a printout of what the $1700 was spending on.

Was referred to this firm by ARAG Legal and we were able to successfully defend a traffic ticket. Mr. Crenshaw and his team were supportive with the process of working through the Legal system, would recommend.

Ready for this one ?! This firm responded to my inquiry on Legal Match. I called their office to schedule a consultation. I spoke with Donna. She asked me to email her a copy of the judgment I am trying to collect on and any other pertinent information regarding the case. Now, several days later, I send them all the information as asked, and Donna calls to inform me there is a conflict of interest. Says the lawyer is FRIENDS with the defendent I am trying to collect the judgment from. She tells me AFTER they have all my information. After thinking about this, should'nt they have asked me who the judgment was against BEFORE I sent them my case info ? That in itself is unethical as it gets ! Be very careful when dealing with this firm.
