Law firms typically aim to create a confidential and comfortable atmosphere for individuals seeking legal assistance.
The services offered by Cabanillas & Associates, P.C. appear to encompass various legal domains. One client review specifically highlights their successful assistance with a Special Immigrant Juvenile (SIJ) status case. According to this review, the process was described as "very simple and fast," with transparency and straightforward communication. The client expressed immense gratitude for the firm's support in helping their nephew obtain his SSN and work permit within approximately one year and seven months. This positive feedback suggests expertise in immigration law, particularly concerning juvenile cases.
However, it is crucial to present a balanced perspective by also considering other available feedback. Another client review expresses significant dissatisfaction with the services received, specifically in a divorce case handled by what they refer to as their "New Brunswick office." This review alleges that despite a payment of $3,000 almost two years prior, the paperwork had not been filed. The client further claims a lack of communication and unavailability of helpful staff at the office. This negative experience raises concerns about the firm's handling of certain cases and their client communication practices.
Considering these contrasting experiences, potential clients should approach Cabanillas & Associates, P.C. with a degree of diligence. While the positive review indicates successful outcomes in at least one area of immigration law, the negative review serves as a cautionary note regarding other potential service areas or the consistency of their client service.
When seeking legal representation, it is always advisable to conduct thorough research and consider multiple factors. This includes reading various client reviews, if available, and potentially seeking consultations with different law firms to find the best fit for your specific legal needs. Understanding the firm's areas of specialization and their track record in those areas is paramount.
For individuals in the North Brunswick area or surrounding regions who require legal assistance, Cabanillas & Associates, P.C. is a local option to consider. Their stated address in North Brunswick suggests a commitment to serving the community. The positive feedback regarding the SIJ case indicates a potential strength in immigration law. If your legal needs align with this area, the firm might be a viable option. The client's mention of a "New Brunswick office" could imply multiple locations or a previous office location, which might be worth clarifying when contacting the firm.
However, the serious allegations in the negative review regarding the handling of a divorce case cannot be ignored. Issues such as delayed paperwork, lack of communication, and perceived lack of service are significant concerns. Potential clients considering Cabanillas & Associates, P.C. for divorce or other legal matters should inquire specifically about the firm's processes, communication protocols, and expected timelines. It may also be beneficial to ask for references or seek additional reviews to gain a broader understanding of their service quality across different legal areas.
As a platform connecting users with local lawyers, "Lawyers Near Me" aims to provide comprehensive information to aid in making informed decisions. The case of Cabanillas & Associates, P.C. highlights the importance of considering both positive and negative feedback when evaluating legal services. While one client experienced a smooth and successful immigration process, another reported significant issues with a divorce case.
Ultimately, the decision of whether to engage Cabanillas & Associates, P.C. rests with the individual seeking legal assistance. It is recommended to contact the firm directly to discuss your specific legal needs, ask detailed questions about their experience and processes in similar cases, and address any concerns arising from the available reviews. A direct consultation can provide a more personalized understanding of how the firm might handle your case and whether their approach aligns with your expectations.
Prospective clients may want to inquire about the attorneys who would be handling their case, their individual experience and qualifications, and the firm's fee structure. Understanding the costs involved and the payment terms is crucial before engaging any legal services. Additionally, clarifying the firm's communication methods and expected response times can help manage expectations throughout the legal process.
In conclusion, Cabanillas & Associates, P.C. in North Brunswick, NJ, presents a mixed picture based on the limited online reviews available. Their apparent success in a Special Immigrant Juvenile status case is a positive indicator of their capabilities in immigration law. However, the serious allegations of mishandling a divorce case warrant careful consideration and further inquiry from potential clients. Utilizing platforms like "Lawyers Near Me" to gather information is a valuable first step, but direct communication and due diligence are essential in selecting the right legal representation for your specific needs.

Sep 20, 2024 · Melissa Castro AI went to there New Brunswick office almost two years ago for a divorce, paid $3,000, and they haven’t even filed the paper work yet. No one will call me back and when I go to the office there isn’t anyone who can help me. $3,000 for nothing. Now, I find to find an attorney to sue an attorney to get my money returned. And I still need to get divorced!
Feb 24, 2024 · Gary SchlengerSeemed very nice and respectful people. But they're services are bad! and out of professional. Don't have any communication with the client and other immigration lawyers. (When it comes down to immigration). Their response sucks!. when you give them a call or when you want a call back they don't answer ! Not even the same day. I called once to get an update with status situation that I was having. The secretary call me back. I was very upset!. When you're spending about 5k plus. you are least expecting a response back in the proper communication with each other that was going on. I regret having these lawyers. it don't even bother talking to the secretary because she looks like she doesn't even know what she even doing?.
