Mar 14, 2017 · TimIn December of 2015 I was traveling northbound on GA400 on my motorcycle and a woman in a minivan proceeded to pull onto the highway in front me trying to cross. I tried to avoid the vehicle, but it struck the rear of my bike, sending me into the median where my right leg became trapped underneath the bike causing extensive injury to my lower leg and foot. After three surgeries and 16 days I was released from the hospital, but my legal challenges were just beginning. After receiving settlements from both my insurance carrier and the at fault drivers, I was served a legal notice via certified mail from my health insurance provider. My medical bills exceeded $400k and, in an attempt to recover some of that, my health insurance provider went after the insurance settlements, a legal action termed subrogation. With my out of pocket medical expenses surpassing $14k, I needed the insurance settlements to cover it, plus the months I was out of work. I turned to the law office of Casey Stevens regarding this issue and he and his team quickly and courteously resolved this issue and the letters from my health insurance carrier stopped arriving in the mailbox. I cannot think of another law firm that would have handled my situation any more professionally and I spoke with several prior.
