I hate giving bad reviews. But after paying $2500 and nothing got done and my case was dismissed runs me the wrong way. I spoke to Ms Monte’s when I first employed her in 2023. Then a second time when I sent a message after finding out my divorce case was dismissed. She said she said she sent an email in October which I did not receive in regular email. But was never contacted before that by her. All because I sent an email stating negligence. But I apologized for MY mistake. That was back in November over the phone. I’ve never met with her in person she was always busy. Never got a copy of said divorce papers drawn up to look over. Nothing. I gave her all possible addresses and info I had on my husband. It seems like she didn’t have time. In that case should have let me know. But it seems just 3 weeks ago she did the same to another female military veteran. Also some security issues had me worried because of her old secretary Bianca. All I wanted was communication and there was none only to Bianca and her paralegal Yvette. Never spoke to her until I sent the email saying it was negligent.

Jan 20, 2025 · Carmen NavaWorst probate lawyer ever. She was never in her office when we scheduled to meet with her multiple times and was a no show each of those times. No apology, no heads up she wasn't going to be there, and no follow up . She took advantage of my elderly mother and it took her 5 years to do what needed to get done after multiple attempts to communicate with her. There was a different secretary everytime we tried to make contact. Not only was she not timely, she failed to file the appropriate paperwork with the court. We ended up wasting alot of time, money and effort by choosing this lawyer.
Apr 09, 2025 · Diana PerezI do not recommend Christina Montes Law Firm. So disappointed on how my mother's case was disregarded - despite my mother paying upfront. Office staff turnover was a redflag from the beginning. So many other instances with her causing more stress and heartache for my mom. Waste of time and money here. Don't walk- RUN away from chosing her service.
Apr 09, 2025 · Teresa CyrI should have read Christina Montes reviews before hitting her. I can see she has a history of handling other cases like she handled my case. I regret spending $3,000 to hire Montez Law firm.
Apr 17, 2025 · CarlosIf I could give her zero stars I would, because even one star is too much. I was referred to Mrs. Montes by one of her employees and was told she was amazing. She is far from amazing; incompetent is more like it. She charged me $2,500 for services she never provided. She claimed she was waiting to serve my ex and in the 2.5 years I lived there she could never get it done. It's going on almost 3.5 yrs now, I just gave up on them. She had his home and work address and phone numbers. He even contacted her personally and let her know the times he was available. And NOTHING WAS DONE! I contacted her letting her know where he would be at and still nothing. I would call and could never get a hold of her. Her front office Britney, Yvette and her husband are just useless. They can never provide you with any updates and never get back to you. She's definitely a liar and thief. I would NOT GO TO HER! She claims to want to help single military moms but it's all B.S. She did NOTHING for me but take my money. Not once did she reach out to me for any updates like she claimed she would. Always out of the office supposedly in court or out of town. Ridiculous that they allow her to practice law. Continuation: After I posted my review Mrs. Montes contacted me and apologized and stated she wanted to help me out. I even let her know I was not going to pursue the case because my ex was helping out more. She insisted we could just do the child support part and get it finalized in 60 days give or take. Here we are 6 months later and still no resolution. My ex has never been contacted to be served. She told me she was going to reach out to the Attorney General in Georgia for some documents the judge was requesting for my case. Mind you, neither of us live in Georgia. I'm in Idaho and he's in Virginia. I informed her my ex had reached out to a lawyer here in Idaho to move the case; and I reached out to my lawyer here and he was requesting whatever documentation Mrs. Montes had to prove there was an open case In El Paso, TX. I've requested those documents multiple times and Mrs. Montes tells me she'll send them in the morning. Still waiting on those documents. I did let her know that I felt as though she was stringing me along and she claimed she wasn't. She claims to want to help single moms and feeds you all this B.S, but that's all it is B.S. She took my money and 4 yrs later still no results. But I believe in God and Karma and we all get what we deserve at the end of the day. My advice is look for a real lawyer that DOES want to help you out genuinely. Mrs. Montes didn't even care that I'm a retired military veteran on a budget. Here is my proof so that her incompetent front office denies any of it.
