Tried to warn people about this lawyer. I do not know what code she follows but I guarantee she will not be looking out for the best interest of her clients. Just looking back on things i went through with her. She lied on occasions of speaking with my ex-wife and even suggested what my ex would and wouldn't accept. She needs to be disbarred. Eventually she will be when the right person comes along.

Features and Highlights that Benefit Texans

When considering legal representation, understanding the unique features and highlights of a law office is crucial for potential clients in Texas. While specific distinguishing features for Conswella Edwards Law Office are not extensively detailed in the provided information, a professional law office typically aims to offer certain qualities and practices that benefit their clients:

  • Local Presence and Accessibility: Being located in Arlington, TX, positions the office conveniently for residents within the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. A local attorney understands regional courts, legal procedures, and potentially local precedents, which can be a significant advantage for Texans.
  • Client Communication: A key aspect of effective legal representation is clear and consistent communication. A well-run law office prioritizes keeping clients informed about their case progress, explaining legal options, and being responsive to inquiries.
  • Professional Demeanor: Clients seek attorneys who conduct themselves with professionalism, both in and out of the courtroom. This includes respectful interactions, adherence to legal ethics, and a commitment to upholding the integrity of the legal profession.
  • Commitment to Legal Process: A reputable law office is committed to following all legal protocols and ethical guidelines in representing their clients. This includes proper filing of documents, adherence to court schedules, and diligent pursuit of a client's legal objectives within the bounds of the law.

It is always recommended that individuals seeking legal services conduct thorough research and, if possible, engage in direct communication with the firm to understand their specific practices and the approach they take in handling cases. This due diligence ensures that the chosen legal representation aligns with the client's expectations and needs.

Promotions or Special Offers

Based on the provided information, there are no specific "promotions" or "special offers" advertised by the Conswella Edwards Law Office. Law firms typically do not engage in promotional activities in the same way retail businesses might. Instead, their value proposition usually revolves around the quality of their legal services, their experience, and their approach to client relations.

In the legal industry, "offers" might sometimes take the form of:

  • Free Initial Consultations: Some firms offer a complimentary first meeting to discuss a potential client's case and assess whether they can assist. This allows clients to understand their options without an upfront financial commitment.
  • Flat Fees for Specific Services: For certain predictable legal tasks (e.g., drafting a simple will, uncontested divorce), some attorneys may offer a flat fee rather than an hourly rate, providing cost predictability.
  • Sliding Scale Fees: In some cases, particularly for pro bono work or for clients with limited income, attorneys might offer services on a sliding scale based on the client's ability to pay, though this is less common for private practices.

However, without direct information from Conswella Edwards Law Office detailing such offers, it is not possible to confirm if they provide any of these. For Texans considering this office for their legal needs, it would be essential to directly inquire about their fee structure and any specific arrangements they might have during an initial conversation. Terrible person to hire. She says she's a God fearing woman. But proceeds to lie in my face that she Served my X wife but I got Intel from my new lawyer that she never filed for her to get Served. Just loves to take your money for minimum work with no updates. Also told me if I really loved my kids I would pay her again to file. So wrong of her.

If you want a lawyer to not have your best interest during a divorce, this is the one. I had to fight against my own attorney to just get some of the minimal rights and privileges. In the end , she did very little to look out for my best interest which resulted in an unfair split in a state that is 50/50 on a resident we owned. Just an update post divorce: I was informed that I did not have to pay child support past my kids age 18 or out of high school. Why would I if I'll support my kids anyway but that's something you would have to agree to, in which I didn't. So why is it still in my divorce decree? Yes it's my fault because I didn't read all of it but again that's my own lawyer working against me. Not only was that done she put that I had a history of past violence which is a lie. You get what you pay for, trash.

Although Conswella is my sister, I feel I can make an honest review. She is an excellent attorney that has been in business as a solo firm for over 17 years. That speaks for itself. I have noticed her clients aren't just clients, but she takes each one in as a personal mentee. She extends far more of herself and her service than any other attorney I have worked with, and is extremely kind, yet powerful and knowledgeable when it comes to representing a client and understanding each person's unique situation. Conswella will represent you with honesty, integrity, and compassion, as well as a full knowledge of the laws necessary to get the job done!
