Feb 24, 2025 · brandon nedrickDelroy took payment for an eviction in first week of August 2023 but sent the 14 days demand of payment in mid September 2023. He also failed to inform me of the delays in the eviction proceedings in nyc. Months later when I requested status he informed me of the delay in the eviction courts and wanted an additional $3,500 to go to court and find the status and file emergency Motion. Something that he should’ve mention before taking the case. Delroy had also stated in a meeting that he wished he didn’t take my case. A few months later I requested the file. When I got the file I noticed he didn’t do any action on the case from September til November. He sat and did nothing for months. Here we are a year later and the case never materialized in the courts, I suspect he didn’t file the case correctly so that he can charge another $3,500 for the emergency motion, a motion fee in nyc is $70.00. Delroy claims court is short staff because of the pandemic that ended two years ago. How could putting another $3,500 in Delroy’s pocket for the emergency motion help the short staffed court room. I’ve checked and seen cases that file after my case that have already been resolved and my case doesn’t even have a court date. These people posting that Delroy helped their eviction in several months are fake posts or did Delroy decided to stall my case? I like to see someone post an answer to that? Delroy is the worst lawyer in NY and I WONT recommend him at all. Stay away he’s corrupt.
