The paperwork was sent at a time I was out of country with my father who was in the hospital, during his last days. I reached out 8 days after the deadline had passed, one I returned. Clearly I had more important things going on but it was disappointing that they didn't respect me enough to get in touch with me. Even if I could no longer be considered a plaintiff that's not how you treat people.
