If you’re a landlord who loves to get an ulcer and a nervous breakdown chasing your attorney to evict someone, you’re in the right place. They’ll give you all of that but the eviction part. They’ll almost work more for your tenant but you fit the bill. They take way too long to respond or even answer your calls. I couldn’t be more disappointed. I wish Dennis Block himself would read the reviews. They’re taking way more cases than they can handle.
Feb 12, 2025 · Frank `JavaLanlords be aware. Do not work with this firm. They modify their contracts to cheat lanlords out of thousands of dollars. I paid this firm over $2700 for eviction only to be charged $4000 more before going to court for preparing for jury trial thst never happened. We setteled with the tenants and never went to trial. Complete rip off. They play both sides to their advantage. They tried to charge me an additional $1700 to quit my case , but I found out through arbitration that they are not allowed to charge to recuse themselves from my case. You have other choices, don't use them. They will screw you one way or another. Worst attorney to deal with and they are getting more greedy even with all these eviction cases.

Even though it might not feel well, you should want them to be honest and upfront, and not mislead you. When hiring counsel, integrity is an essential part of the service they provide. But some lawyers are in on the hustle and show us all why there are so many jokes about lawyers. Be sure your lawyers know that THEY work for YOU! And be sure they are not telling you what you WANT to hear, but what you NEED to hear.
