Doug is more concerned with collecting money from his own clients than helping them. I have been a client of HMMC for more than a decade with great experiences, but I do not recommend Doug. I hired him to help with the eviction of a tenant. He did help get the tenant to move out and participated in the mediation; however he failed to ask about the outstanding water balance, which should have been included in the mediation amount. He also failed to respond to an email I sent nearly a month ago asking what the next steps should be since the person was not paying as per the signed mediation agreement. Instead, he sent me a letter threatening to take me to small claims court which was received 1 week after I made payment to his office by credit card! Wish he would have helped me write that letter to my tenant who is not paying. He seems to have great skills at threatening collection from his own clients!

Unfortunately Douglas does not have the best interest in divorced families. Very unprofessional when it comes to communication. When it comes time to bill you then he makes time to show up for court. Do not waste your money on this guy. The only thing he does is put up a good show in front of the judge. Now I see why he has low reviews. Avoid at all cost!!!

Avoid this guy at all cost. Handle my case very poorly. His main concern is payment. Very unprofessional, does not return phone calls or emails. One thing is for sure, your invoice will definitely be ready with extra charges at the first of the month! I hope you enjoy taking people's hard earned money!

He handled my divorce and not only did a fantastic job but was very kind during that rough time in my life. He was thorough, fought for me and was very responsive and quick turnaround with communication and documents. I definitely recommend him.
