Hired Christine to handle a modification to a visitation arrangement. Put down a 5k retainer and 2 days before our first court date she told us we needed to put in MORE money for her to "take this to court" The invoice is questionable on the charges. And when we called to talk about it we were told she would "call us back" that was over a month ago and never got that call. They did absolutely nothing. Nichole went to court 1 time to get the date for our actual court day which was over zoom and they billed over 390 dollars for a 3 min zoom call [if that]. Not to mention, Christine unknowingly butt dialed her client after getting off the phone with us and we could hear her slandering her client to someone [not sure who] which was very disheartening after talking on the phone with her and she's telling you all these things just to turn around and say a bunch of horrible things about you behind your back. Things such as her advising us to do one thing and we can hear her telling [somone] how we could proabbly get more visitation if we went to court. but at this point she is advising us not to- AND to give her more money to do it which we did not have 2 days before our set date. Which makes you loose trust in your lawyers actual loyalty to represent YOU to the best of their abilities. I certainly would NEVER advise anyone to give these people money. where did 5k dollars go before we even made it to court? All while we paid our opposing council fees of only 1200. We will be pursuing this complaint further, no doubt.
