Used this company recently and the experience was very different. Worked with Brandon to sell my property was an incredible experience. Brandon is incredible at keep me informed and making me feel reassured in the company. He actively listens to my questions and is able to answer them very concisely and provide a lot of details. I would love to work with him again. However, why buying the replacement property Brandon was replaced by Tysha. Working with her was an absolutely nightmore for me, my title company, and my lender, and realtor. She seems very self centered and set on arguing that she's in right rather than just sending over a simple document a second and moving the process along. Despite the company saying paperwork would be done in 3 days, she took more than double the amount of days. Because we had built our closing schedule around the 3 days, understandably, my lender and title became worried about closing. When trying to get ahold of the Tysha, she never provided any updates and was very confrontational when all we really wanted was a update so we can adjust timely. She kept sending the same email saying if closing is delayed we need to notify them (which is ironic because everybody was waiting on her). Tysha also doesn't seem to read email or listen to questions before responding. She keeps repeating the same phrases over and over again despite its not what was asked and then getting annoyed when we have ask it again. She seems very self centered and doesn't realized a 1031 company is just one of many cogs in the wheel to ensure a successful and timely closing (which I did not have because due to a technical error, the lender asked her to send over a document a second time, but instead of taking 5 seconds to resend, it Tysha spent hours arguing how she already sent it, as a result its 12 hours after closing and we still can not fund and I do not have keys). After reading more reviews on reddit and biggerpockets, there's definitely plenty of people that would rather spend a bit more money for someone thats focuses more on the client than being right and refuses to do something as simple as sending a document a second time regardless of the impact on the client.
While the category "Lawyers Near Me" typically focuses on legal professionals, it's possible that local users searching within this category might also be looking for related services, such as those provided by real estate agencies, especially when legal aspects intertwine with property transactions. In this context, let's introduce e1031xchange, a real estate agency located at 1120 6th Ave 4th floor, New York, NY 10036, USA. You can reach them at (646) 380-3952 or +1 646-380-3952.
e1031xchange appears to specialize in investment property sales and, as their name suggests, likely offers expertise in 1031 exchanges, a powerful tool for real estate investors to defer capital gains taxes when selling one investment property and reinvesting the proceeds into a "like-kind" property. Their location in the heart of New York City provides accessibility for local users seeking assistance with such transactions.
Based on available customer reviews, the experience with e1031xchange can be varied. One positive review highlights an "incredible experience" working with a representative named Brandon during the sale of a property. This client praised Brandon for his excellent communication, his ability to keep them informed, and his reassuring demeanor throughout the process. The reviewer specifically noted Brandon's active listening skills, his concise yet detailed answers to questions, and expressed a strong desire to work with him again. This positive feedback suggests that some members of the e1031xchange team provide exceptional client service and possess strong communication skills.
However, another detailed review presents a contrasting experience during the purchase of a replacement property, where the client was transitioned to work with a different representative named Tysha. This part of the transaction was described as an "absolutely nightmore" for the client, their title company, lender, and realtor. The reviewer characterized Tysha as "very self-centered" and more focused on being perceived as right rather than efficiently handling necessary paperwork. The review claims that a simple document resend was met with resistance and arguments, significantly delaying the process. Contrary to the company's stated three-day turnaround for paperwork, the process reportedly took more than double that time, causing concern for the lender and title company and impacting the scheduled closing. Communication with Tysha was described as lacking updates and confrontational when inquiries were made. The reviewer also noted instances where Tysha allegedly did not seem to read emails or listen to questions, repeatedly using the same phrases even when they were not relevant to the inquiry. The delayed closing ultimately resulted in a situation where the client could not fund the purchase or receive keys due to a technical issue requiring a document resend that was allegedly delayed by Tysha's handling of the situation.
This negative experience led the reviewer to consult online forums like Reddit and BiggerPockets, where they reportedly found other individuals who expressed a preference for paying more for a service provider focused on client needs rather than being argumentative and delaying simple tasks. This suggests that while e1031xchange may offer competitive fees, some clients have encountered significant issues with certain aspects of their service, particularly regarding communication and efficiency in handling transactional details.
On a more positive note, another recent client described their experience with e1031 for an investment sale as surprisingly good, especially considering their initial hesitation due to the company's low fees, which they initially perceived as a potential "trap." This client stated that the service they received was "much better" than that of other companies charging significantly more. They praised e1031xchange for their clear communication throughout the process and their good responsiveness to emails and phone calls. This positive feedback highlights that some clients have been very satisfied with the value and service provided by e1031xchange, particularly in terms of communication and responsiveness.
Considering these contrasting reviews, it's important for local users to weigh both the potential benefits, such as competitive fees and positive experiences with certain team members like Brandon, against the potential drawbacks, such as the negative experiences reported with other representatives like Tysha, particularly concerning communication, efficiency, and client-centricity. The environment of e1031xchange, being located in a commercial building on 6th Avenue in New York City, likely offers a standard professional office setting. Specific features or promotional information are not provided in the given text.
For local users in New York seeking assistance with real estate transactions, particularly investment property sales and 1031 exchanges, e1031xchange presents a potential option. The company's address at a prominent location in Manhattan suggests accessibility. While their fees might be attractive, and some clients have reported positive experiences with their service and communication, it is crucial for potential clients to be aware of the reported inconsistencies in service quality and potential challenges with certain representatives. It would be prudent to inquire about the specific team members who will be handling their transaction and to potentially seek further references or testimonials beyond those provided here to gain a more comprehensive understanding of the service they can expect.
In conclusion, e1031xchange, located in New York City, offers real estate services that appear to focus on investment property sales and 1031 exchanges. While some clients have praised their competitive fees and the service provided by certain representatives, such as Brandon, others have reported significant negative experiences, particularly concerning communication and efficiency with other team members. Local users considering e1031xchange should carefully consider these factors and potentially conduct further due diligence to ensure the agency aligns with their specific needs and expectations for a smooth and successful real estate transaction.

Mar 06, 2025 · Ethan YI Used the e1031 for one my recent Investment Sale. Initially, I was hesitant to use them as their fee seemed a trap as it's lowest I have found. But, To my surprise their service is much better than other companies who charge more than double e1031 has charged. Their communication is very clear throughout the process and their response is very good for e-Mails and Phone. I wonder how they are able to manage with the low fees. But, I am delighted with their service and would recommend to go them.
Feb 07, 2025 · GVR RealtyWish I could give higher than 5 stars!! e1031xchange is VERY low cost compared to other 1031 agents I've used in the past and provided better service and made the process easier. I wish I would have found them sooner, but I will definitely refer them to my friends and family.
Apr 08, 2025 · Jeff MercedIt was easy to do my 1031 exchange, but it was very hard to contact them later on when I needed additional help. And so I don’t recommend using this company because the customer service became really bad after some time.
