This was the worst experience. I hired Ellen for a complicated name change case. During the initial hearing, we were confident that the judge would rule in our favor. The judge got upset by one aspect of the case and then favored the other party in the case. The judge basically made there case for them. While this was happening Ellen basically kept tight lipped the entire time while I was getting berated by the judge. We had another follow up hearing. She did not come prepared for the hearing which she though would only last a few minutes but lasted 3 hours. After the case, we both agreed the judge demonstrated judicial bias. She refused to file anything regarding this because did not want to tarnish her reputation/image. I consulted more attorney's more could've been done with this case. She didnt fight for my case at all.
