You know that old saying: “When it rains, it pours?” Well a few years ago, it started pouring. My husband’s health, which had been fragile for many years, started to decline. At the same time, my mother, who was by this time in her 80’s, and whom I had BEGGED for over a decade to take her meds, ask for help and do some planning (she did none of these things), made a sharp decline both physically and mentally. She wound up in the hospital. My brother and I had to scramble and try to get her life in order as well as managing her life and medical care. As my husband’s health continued to deteriorate, Ariel helped us navigate finishing our own estate planning before he passed. And after I realized that mom had started, but not completed handling her last sibling’s estate, Ariel and his staff have been walking me through that INSANE process as well. I’ve recommended him and his firm to countless people and will continue to do so. Pretty soon he’s going to have to start paying me a finder’s fee!
