It is crucial for potential clients to understand the scope of services offered, the firm's approach to client communication, and overall professionalism. Feinstein & Feinstein operates within this competitive environment, striving to provide legal support. The firm's presence in a central New York location makes it accessible to many.

Understanding your legal options and rights is always the fundamental first step toward pursuing a claim. This guide will delve into the general scope of legal services that firms like Feinstein & Feinstein typically offer in the personal injury sector, providing practical information about their prime New York City location, accessibility, and how you can connect with their office to discuss your specific legal needs. The aim is to equip you, the New York resident, with the necessary information to make informed decisions about your legal representation during a challenging period, enabling you to confidently assess your choices for pursuing justice.

Location and Accessibility

Feinstein & Feinstein's office is strategically located in one of New York City's most prominent and accessible areas, the Financial District. Situated within the historic Adams Express Building at 61 Broadway #2820, New York, NY 10006, USA, this location offers considerable convenience for clients across the five boroughs.

For New Yorkers who rely on the city’s extensive public transportation network, the office’s address provides excellent ease of access. It is within a very short walking distance of multiple major subway lines. Specifically, the R and W trains at Rector Street, the 4 and 5 trains at Wall Street, the 1 train at Rector Street, and the J and Z trains at Broad Street are all just moments away. This extensive subway connectivity means that whether you are commuting from Uptown, Downtown, Brooklyn, Queens, or even parts of New Jersey via the PATH train (which also has nearby stations), arriving at your appointment is a straightforward and efficient process. This helps mitigate the common New York challenges of traffic congestion and parking, ensuring a less stressful journey to your legal consultations, especially important when dealing with accident-related injuries and potential mobility limitations.

The prominence of Broadway itself, combined with the professional and historic atmosphere of the Financial District, makes the Adams Express Building a recognizable landmark, further simplifying navigation for first-time visitors. The established environment of the area underscores the professional setting in which Feinstein & Feinstein operates. This strategic and central location is a clear indicator of the firm’s aim to provide accessible legal services to New Yorkers.

Services Offered

Feinstein & Feinstein appears to primarily focus on personal injury law, specifically assisting individuals who have suffered bodily harm due to accidents. Based on the provided client review, a core area of their practice involves representing victims of car accidents.

  • Car Accident Claims: This is explicitly mentioned as a service provided, with the firm handling cases where individuals have received "bodily harm" from vehicular incidents, such as those involving a car running a red light. This typically includes navigating claims against insurance companies and seeking compensation for medical expenses, lost wages, and pain and suffering.

  • Personal Injury Litigation: Generally, a personal injury firm handles cases where individuals are injured due to the negligence or wrongdoing of another party. This broad category can include, but is not limited to, various types of accidents that result in physical harm.

  • Insurance Claim Negotiation: A significant part of personal injury work involves negotiating with insurance companies to achieve a fair settlement for the injured party. The review indicates that the firm engages with insurance companies, even when they "fought tooth and nail to deny the claim."

  • General Accident Claims: While the specific review focuses on a car accident, a personal injury firm often handles other types of accidents that lead to bodily harm, such as slip and falls, truck accidents, motorcycle accidents, or pedestrian accidents, if they fall under the umbrella of personal injury.

  • Legal Consultation for Injury Cases: Providing initial assessments and advice to individuals who believe they have a personal injury claim, guiding them on the viability of their case and the potential next steps.

Features / Highlights

Based on the provided customer reviews, Feinstein & Feinstein presents a mixed picture regarding its features and highlights. It is important for potential clients to consider both perspectives.

  • Knowledgeable Individual (Mr. Feinstein): One client describes Mr. Feinstein as "a wonderful knowledgeable person," a "strong individual," and "someone you would want to represent you." This suggests a strong legal foundation and a persuasive presence.

  • Supportive Front Office Staff (Miss Daisy): The front office staff, particularly Miss Daisy, is highlighted as "a delight." She is praised for being "always willing to help you pleasant never gives up never get upset," indicating a positive and supportive initial client interaction, which can be crucial during stressful times.

  • Engagement with Insurance Companies: The firm does engage with insurance companies, even when they are resistant to claims, as evidenced by the mention of an insurance company fighting "tooth and nail to deny the claim."

  • Lengthy Case Duration Concerns: One significant highlight (or potential concern, depending on perspective) is the prolonged nature of some cases. A client explicitly states that their car accident case, which involved bodily harm, had not been closed after six years, despite an initial settlement offer from the insurance company. This indicates that cases can be lengthy.

  • Client Satisfaction Discrepancy: While one review speaks highly of Mr. Feinstein and Miss Daisy, another expresses extreme dissatisfaction, labeling the office as "Worst law office ever" due to perceived incompetence, lack of information, and unprofessionalism, leading the client to feel they "was better off handling this situation myself!!" This suggests a varied client experience.

Promotions or Special Offers

In the realm of personal injury law, firms like Feinstein & Feinstein typically operate on a contingency fee basis. This is a common and highly beneficial structure for New Yorkers seeking legal representation after an accident. It means that clients generally do not pay any upfront legal fees. Instead, the firm only collects a percentage of the compensation if they successfully secure a settlement or a favorable verdict on your behalf. This arrangement removes the immediate financial burden from injured individuals, making quality legal representation accessible regardless of their current financial situation.

Furthermore, it is a standard practice for most personal injury law firms, including Feinstein & Feinstein, to offer free initial consultations. This allows prospective clients in New York to discuss the details of their accident, the nature of their injuries, and their legal concerns with an attorney without any obligation or cost. During this consultation, you can receive an initial assessment of your case and understand the potential next steps. This no-cost, no-obligation meeting is an invaluable opportunity to gain clarity and confidence before making any decisions about pursuing a claim, directly benefiting New Yorkers in their time of need.

Conclusion: Why this place is suitable for locals

For New Yorkers considering legal representation after a personal injury, particularly from a car accident, Feinstein & Feinstein presents itself as an option within the bustling legal landscape of the city. Evaluating its suitability requires a balanced consideration of its attributes and client experiences.

Firstly, the firm's location within the historic Adams Express Building at 61 Broadway in the Financial District offers significant practical advantages for New Yorkers. Its extreme accessibility via numerous subway lines ensures that clients from across all five boroughs can easily reach the office for consultations. This ease of transportation is a crucial factor in a city like New York, minimizing stress and travel time for individuals who may be recovering from injuries or managing busy schedules.

Secondly, the firm's focus on personal injury, specifically car accident claims leading to "bodily harm," directly addresses a common legal need in a densely populated city with high traffic volumes. For those impacted by such incidents, having a legal entity that engages with insurance companies and pursues claims for compensation is essential. The positive mention of Mr. Feinstein's knowledge and Miss Daisy's supportive demeanor suggests a capacity for professional and pleasant client interactions, which can be reassuring during a difficult period.

However, it's also important for New Yorkers to acknowledge the varied client feedback. While some express satisfaction with the knowledge of Mr. Feinstein and the helpfulness of the front office, others have raised concerns about case duration, communication, and overall outcome. For locals, this underscores the importance of thorough due diligence, including utilizing the free initial consultation to ask pointed questions about case management, communication protocols, and expected timelines. Ultimately, Feinstein & Feinstein’s accessible location and focus on personal injury align with common local needs, but potential clients should weigh all available information to determine if the firm's approach is the right fit for their specific expectations and situation in the New York legal environment.

Worst law office ever. They are incompetent, non-informative and unprofessional is an under statement. I filed a suit 6 years ago from a car accident in which I received bodily harm and the insurance company offered a settlement check. Feinstein & Feinstein informed me not to accept the check and have not closed this case as of yet. I was better off handling this situation myself!! Please do not, I repeat do not allow them to assist you in anyway
