Law offices typically prioritize creating a confidential and comfortable space for consultations and legal work. The location in Roswell suggests accessibility for residents and businesses in this part of Georgia.

Based on the provided client reviews, FGP Law, LLC, particularly through the services of attorney Frank, appears to offer counsel in various legal areas. One client mentions using Frank's counsel "countless times over the years" on "several matters," indicating a potentially broad scope of legal expertise. The reviews specifically mention experience in:

  • General Legal Counsel: The repeated use of Frank's counsel suggests he provides ongoing legal advice and representation on various issues.
  • Protective Order Cases: One detailed review discusses representation in a protective order case, including an initial hearing and subsequent appeals.
  • Appeals: The firm handled multiple appeals related to a protective order case.
  • Tax Law: One reviewer noted Frank might be an "outstanding tax attorney," although their personal experience was not in this area.
  • Litigation: Representation in hearings and court proceedings indicates experience in litigation.

One client review offers a detailed, albeit mixed, perspective on their experience with attorney Frank at FGP Law, LLC. While the reviewer initially found Frank to be a "very personable person" and potentially a "great tax attorney," their experience in a protective order case revealed both strengths and weaknesses in his representation in court. The reviewer highlights Frank's willingness to answer questions and his eventual success in achieving a dismissal in a permanent extension hearing after "extensive consultations" and thorough preparation involving timelines and supporting evidence.

However, the same review also expresses disappointment with Frank's approach during earlier stages of the case, including the initial appeal and an extension hearing. The client felt that exculpatory evidence was not adequately presented, and there were instances where Frank appeared less assertive in court than the client desired. Specifically, the reviewer mentioned instances where Frank:

  • Did not include certain documents in an appeal.
  • Struggled with the proper introduction of text message evidence in court.
  • Did not initially realize the need to arrange for a court stenographer in Magistrate court.
  • Did not file or argue a motion based on alleged false evidence from the opposing counsel.

Despite these criticisms, the client ultimately acknowledges Frank's increased preparedness and effectiveness in the final hearing that led to the dismissal. This suggests a potential for thorough preparation and persuasive argumentation, particularly when significant time and effort are invested in case strategy.

For local users in Roswell, Georgia, seeking legal assistance through the "Lawyers Near Me" platform, FGP Law, LLC, and attorney Frank, present a complex picture based on the available review. Potential clients may find his personable nature and willingness to answer questions reassuring. His experience across "several matters" suggests a potentially versatile legal practice. The eventual success in the protective order case dismissal indicates an ability to achieve positive outcomes, particularly with thorough preparation.

However, the detailed review also highlights potential areas of concern, particularly regarding courtroom assertiveness and the strategic use of evidence in earlier stages of litigation. Individuals considering FGP Law, LLC, for representation in contentious legal matters, especially those involving court appearances and appeals, may want to discuss these aspects in detail during an initial consultation.

First, Frank is a very personable person. I enjoyed my conversation with him and he may be an outstanding tax attorney. I hired him to write an appeal and represent me for a protective order case after I had represented myself in the original hearing and lost. The reason I represented myself was I could prove the other person was lying in their original petition. In the appeal, Frank would not include exculpatory documents that were presented in first hearing. This hearing was not transcribed. We appealed based on there was no mention of fear in the original petition so I could not prepare a defense since it was never asserted prior to the hearing. We lost. I did bring that up at trial but the lies of my opponent and her lawyer convinced the judge even though all documentation showed they were lying. We went to a second hearing for an extension that we lost. Frank did not know how to properly introduced texts and had to be prompted by the court to say the proper phrases to introduce the evidence. That may have been a brain fart but Frank didn't realize that you have to arrange for a court stenographer yourself in Magistrate court. I had to arrange for both court stenographers in the first hearing and a second later hearing. Frank did not introduce exculpatory evidence I had asked him to consisting of two emails that proved the lies in the first hearing. Frank did bring up in court that I had complied with all of the restrictions in the year long protective order and what a burdon it was being an international pilot. (I lost my global entry causing long delays reentering the country.) After losing the extension hearing, I filed a second appeal based on an impossible timeline stated in the extension hearing. I didn't think this tact would work and it didn't. I found out later, we could have filed a motion based on false evidence to dismiss the entire case but we didn't. We also didn't bring up in the appeal that I had fully complied to the order for a year and 9 months and there was no reason for an extension. After another year of full compliance, I was brought back for a permanent extension of the protective order. Prior to this hearing Frank and I did extensive consultations and made big white boards with timelines documented with supporting texts and emails. We had a different judge at this hearing. After they presented their evidence Frank moved for a dismissal based on there was full compliance to the order and no reason why the 12 month order should have ever been extended. The judge agreed and did not grant the extension. It was obvious that Frank had done more research and cited cases to sway the judge. So why the two star rating after the case was dismissed? Frank may be a great tax attorney but in court, he was not the fighter I was looking for. I had spent $60K+ and felt it had been wasted. If I am going to lose, and you don't introduce evidence that clears me at trial and in the appeals like I ask, I will blame the attorney. Frank also would not file or argue a motion I had introduced with all of the evidence that showed the opposing attorney lied to the court and falsified evidence. He did not fight for me in court and I want a fighter for the hearing and for the appeal. The opposing counsel was a liar and a shark. When this happens, you need someone who will call them out to the court and that wasn't Frank. He may be a great tax attorney but I was very disappointed. I would still have a beer with him because I think he is a good guy, but he was out of his element with my case and it showed.

If you’re looking for a top notch tax and business attorney, Frank is one of the best. He takes on cases both small and big, is communicative (very important quality in a lawyer), and he cares about case outcomes. I’ll continue working with Frank for years to come.
