The environment of the Goddard Riverside Law Project, situated in New York City, likely reflects a community-focused or non-profit setting, given its designation as a "Law Project." Such organizations typically aim to provide legal assistance to underserved populations or in specific areas of public interest law. The location at 51 W 109th St suggests a presence within a residential area of Manhattan, potentially indicating a focus on serving the local community's housing needs. While the physical office environment is not detailed, it is probable that the space is geared towards client interaction, legal consultation, and the facilitation of their legal advocacy work.

The services offered by the Goddard Riverside Law Project, as indicated by the enthusiastic customer review, are primarily centered around housing law, specifically concerning matters within Housing Court and issues related to Single Room Occupancy (SRO) living. The reviewer, who has utilized their services since the 1990s, explicitly recommends them for SRO-related court matters. This suggests a long-standing expertise and a deep understanding of the unique legal challenges faced by SRO residents in New York City. For individuals in Japan who may have property ownership or legal responsibilities related to SROs in New York, or who are assisting family members or others living in such conditions and facing legal disputes, the Goddard Riverside Law Project appears to be a highly specialized resource.

Several key features of the Goddard Riverside Law Project are highlighted in the customer reviews. This feature of providing high-caliber legal assistance, possibly on a pro bono or reduced fee basis, would be a significant benefit for those who qualify. Thirdly, their long-standing presence and recognition within the housing court community, as mentioned by the reviewer ("These lawyers are known in the housing court circle"), speaks to their established reputation and credibility in this specialized legal field. Finally, the second short review, "Great place. Highly recommend," provides further positive affirmation of the organization's overall quality and effectiveness.

This passionate advocacy from a long-term client acts as compelling social proof of the project's value and effectiveness. The repeated emphasis on their lawyers being the "best" functions as a key promotional message, highlighting the quality of their legal representation. While not a traditional marketing campaign, such genuine and enthusiastic feedback can be incredibly influential for those seeking legal help, especially in navigating the often complex and stressful environment of housing court.

For individuals in Japan who might be assisting with or involved in legal matters concerning SRO housing in New York City, the Goddard Riverside Law Project appears to be a highly specialized and well-regarded resource. The strong positive reviews specifically focusing on their expertise in housing court and SRO law suggest that they possess a deep understanding of this niche area. The fact that they are described as being of the caliber of "a good paid housing court lawyer" indicates a high standard of legal service, potentially offered through a non-profit or legal aid model. This could be particularly relevant for individuals or families who may face financial constraints in accessing legal representation.

The provision of both a direct phone line and a mobile phone number facilitates contact for potential clients, including those calling from Japan. While the time difference would need to be considered, the availability of these numbers allows for initial inquiries about their services, eligibility criteria (if they operate on a pro bono or low-income basis), and the process for seeking their assistance. It would be advisable for anyone in Japan needing their services to be prepared to clearly explain the nature of their housing issue in New York and any relevant timelines or court dates.

In conclusion, for individuals in Japan seeking exceptional legal assistance in New York City Housing Court, particularly concerning Single Room Occupancy (SRO) matters, the Goddard Riverside Law Project comes highly recommended based on the provided customer reviews. Was going ( really needed attorney support ) to speak to an attorney or to schedule an intake appointment or something. It was an emergency. All is possible only over the phone. I called this place 1000 times during 2 weeks. I have finally left a couple of voice messages ( as they asked ) with my name and phone number in order to be called back ( as they said) . Almost 3 weeks since that time = no one call back, nothing. Nobody cares. They must be way too busy. With all this craziness around....Ok. I understand. But an info/call/email or something from them would be nice, an info that they cannot take more people, their attorneys are too busy could be nice to do not wait and hope for help from this place.
