The staff was polite and attentive at the start, especially while collecting the initial information for our fiancé visa case. We genuinely believed we were in the right hands, but as soon as we submitted all the documents and the actual case work began, things changed. Communication became delayed and scattered. We were passed around between at least five different paralegals, having to resend the same documents over and over. Some were submitted through Clio, some by email, but many ended up missing. When we finally requested a copy of our file, it contained hardly anything. It left us asking, Where did all of our paperwork go? The most devastating part came when we received the letter for the DS-160 form. We contacted the firm multiple times to ask what to do. We were on a deadline and desperate for guidance. After waiting weeks with no real answers, we began completing the form ourselves. While filling it out, we even sent screenshots asking for help, but still nothing. Only after we submitted it were we told that we weren’t supposed to do it, and that the law firm should have handled it. That mistake set our entire case back, and it could have been avoided if someone had simply returned our calls or answered our questions. From that point forward, everything went downhill. Despite our constant gratitude and patience, we were left confused, overwhelmed, and unsupported. We were frequently told someone would follow up, but it rarely happened in a timely manner or sometimes not at all. When answers came, they often lacked clarity. We were trying to reunite our family, but instead of being guided, we felt lost and unheard. Even during the waiver process, we were told that support letters we submitted would be rewritten into the correct format and notarized by the office. We paid to have them notarized ourselves, trying to stay ahead. But when we followed up, no one knew what we were talking about. It was like we were living in a loop of miscommunication. Despite all of this, we continued to say thank you. We continued to be kind. We didn’t want to be difficult clients, we just wanted help. But it felt like our appreciation was mistaken for silence. Like our patience meant we weren’t a priority anymore. In the end, we had to hire another attorney, and within days, we saw the difference, quick communication, clear answers, and compassionate support. Everything we should have received from Godoy Law Firm but didn’t. This review isn’t written in anger, it’s written from a place of deep emotional pain. We trusted your firm with our future, and it felt like our case was handled with indifference. No family going through this difficult immigration process should be made to feel the way we did. We deserved better.

Besides being the most elegant, polite, and professional person I have spoken to on the phone, Hector went above and beyond to make sure every need of mine was addressed. I could tell that he listened and cared about what I was saying to him. I hadn’t even signed up for a consultation yet before Mr. Godoy himself called me to help address my needs before coming in. That is extremely rare in my opinion. While I did not use these guys due to my K1 process going smoother than expected, they will be my attorney going forward for any immigration need, without a second thought.
