Apr 28, 2025 · lolashowmeHe’s whatever, as far as an attorney. Would I use him again, not in this lifetime. I can be ignored by a better person, a better attorney. He was just very dismissive, uncaring, and in the end disrespectful. If you’re not willing to dig into your own records, do a lot of your own research and work, you’re probably going to do some hard time. Plus he’s expensive and I believe he’s gotten where he’s at because of his Daddy.

As a recent graduate of Columbia University School of Social Work, I had a tremendous amount at stake. Michael’s understanding of addiction and mental health issues enabled him to reach a creative and unexpected resolution of my case. After threatening to commit suicide, I was charged with negligent discharge of a firearm and assault with a firearm, both serious felonies that mandated state prison. I was accused of pointing a firearm at a victim, threatening to kill him before turning the gun on myself. We were horrified and my parents hired Michael based on his reputation and experience after first giving money to a lawyer that did nothing for me. At the Preliminary hearing, Michael’s cross-examination positioned us to get the best result possible. Michael declined all early offers and met with a Supervising DA who better understood the mental health and stress factors involved. I ended up with probation, 90 days in rehab and will get a misdemeanor in 18 months. Michael was patient, creative and he kept his word to my family. His assistant Irma is amazing and was always accessible and willing to talk. Words cannot express the gratitude we feel and would recommend him without hesitation. Jason 2018
Jun 04, 2018 · Jason YuMichael Goldstein is by far the best lawyer i’ve ever had the pleasure to meet and beyond grateful he is representing my husband during this awful series of events. He was initially charged with 2 counts of premeditated attempted murder. Mr. Goldstein worked magic and allowed my husband the opportunity to obtain a plea bargain that included dismissing the more serious charges and entering a plea to one count of assault with a firearm, a non-violent offense which enabled him to serve only 50% time. Our time with Mr. Goldstein was all around a 10/10. From the beginning to the end. Every encounter with Mr. Goldstein calmed any nerves we had. He personally met with us and appeared at every single court hearing (most other lawyers send their not so inclined nor convincing representatives) and also personally visited the jail on multiple occasions to speak with and confirm the safety of my husband. If you are in need of help you must reach out to Mr. Goldstein, it will not be a waste of money or your time. My respect and gratefulness is beyond words.

Michael has many years of experience in the criminal defense field and has represented multiple family members of mine in both felony and misdemeanor cases.
