Henry Oddo Austin & Fletcher Introduce

For individuals and entities in Dallas, TX, seeking legal representation, platforms like "Lawyers Near Me" are frequently utilized to find and evaluate law firms. This introduction aims to provide an objective and detailed overview of Henry Oddo Austin & Fletcher, a legal firm located at 1717 Main St #4600, Dallas, TX 75201, USA. Their contact number is (214) 658-1900, and their mobile phone is +1 214-658-1900. It is crucial to note that the provided customer reviews offer very strong and negative insights into specific aspects of the firm's operations and client interactions, which will be central to this objective introduction.

Operating within the "Lawyers Near Me" category, Henry Oddo Austin & Fletcher, based on the provided reviews, appears to be involved in legal matters concerning property and homeowner association (HOA) disputes, and potentially debt collection or foreclosure actions on behalf of HOAs or other creditors. One review explicitly details a conflict regarding HOA fees, late fees, and alleged lack of proper notification. This suggests that a significant part of their service offering may include representing HOAs in collecting dues, enforcing covenants, and initiating legal action when necessary. Another review speaks to the firm's involvement in actions against homeowners, including military service members, implying a practice area that includes real estate litigation, property law, and potentially foreclosure proceedings. For users searching for a "Lawyer Near Me" who might be dealing with HOA disputes, property issues, or facing legal action from such entities, this firm's name might appear. Their services, in such cases, would involve legal counsel, debt collection tactics (including sending demand letters), litigation to recover outstanding balances, and potentially initiating foreclosure processes on behalf of their clients, such as HOAs.

The environment of Henry Oddo Austin & Fletcher, situated at 1717 Main Street, Suite #4600, in a prominent Dallas skyscraper, suggests a highly professional and imposing corporate setting. Law firms located in such prime, high-rise office spaces typically project an image of established authority, significant resources, and a corporate clientele. While specific details about the interior design or amenities are not available, it is reasonable to expect a formal, well-maintained office environment with multiple conference rooms and offices for attorneys and staff. Such an environment is generally designed to impress and facilitate complex legal proceedings. The central Dallas location provides excellent accessibility for clients and court proceedings within the city, underscoring a strong presence within the Dallas legal and business community.

The features of Henry Oddo Austin & Fletcher, as critically portrayed by the customer reviews, revolve around severe concerns regarding their conduct, communication, and ethical standards, particularly in their interactions with individuals from whom they are seeking payment. One client vividly described interactions as "rude and act like they own your home." This indicates a feature of aggressive and potentially unprofessional client communication from individuals representing the firm. The specific incident involving a "property manager (JUDD)" who allegedly refused to provide proof of certified letters regarding HOA fees, despite a significant escalation of debt from $355 to over $2100 due to late fees, highlights critical issues. These issues include transparency, accountability, and proper legal procedure concerning notifications. The alleged statement by Judd, "he was not gonna show me anything and didn't have too," if true, suggests an uncooperative and dismissive approach, which is a highly negative feature in any legal service. This client's intention to confront the firm in court to demand proof of certified receipts underscores a significant breakdown in trust and professional conduct.

The second review presents an even more scathing critique, alleging that the firm is "willing to steal homes from military service members and their families while they are away on orders by lying, and falsifying documentation to the local courts." This is an extremely serious accusation that, if substantiated, points to features of alleged unethical practices, dishonesty, and disregard for the legal protections afforded to military personnel (such as the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act). The client's strong condemnation, calling them "a disgrace to America" and suggesting they "truly follow the teachings of Satan," reflects deep personal outrage and a perception of the firm's actions as morally reprehensible. The call to "avoided at all costs" and to "fight them on behalf of all that is good and holy in our country" underscores the profound level of dissatisfaction and alarm this client experienced. While these are client perceptions and not proven facts, they represent extremely negative features that would significantly influence any prospective client's decision when searching for a "Lawyer Near Me."

From a promotional standpoint, Henry Oddo Austin & Fletcher, like any large law firm, would typically highlight their extensive legal experience, their prominent downtown location, their broad range of practice areas, and their commitment to achieving client objectives. They might emphasize their effectiveness in representing HOAs, businesses, or other entities in property disputes, debt recovery, and litigation. However, an objective introduction must incorporate the severe negative feedback provided. These reviews directly contradict the typical promotional claims of professionalism, integrity, and client care that law firms usually put forth. The allegations of rudeness, lack of transparency, and especially the grave accusations concerning military families and falsified documentation, would present a substantial challenge to any positive promotional efforts. For users of "Lawyers Near Me," such stark criticisms would serve as significant warnings, prompting thorough investigation and extreme caution before considering this firm for legal representation, particularly in matters that could lead to disputes over property or significant financial liabilities. While the firm itself would likely promote its successes and expertise, an objective assessment requires acknowledging these severe client experiences as crucial data points for any potential client.

In conclusion, Henry Oddo Austin & Fletcher in Dallas, TX, appears to be a large legal firm with a focus that includes property law, HOA disputes, and potentially debt collection or foreclosure actions. Their environment is that of a prominent, professional downtown firm. However, the provided client reviews present extremely critical features, including allegations of rude and uncooperative conduct, lack of transparency regarding legal notices, and very serious accusations of unethical practices, including potentially falsifying documentation against military service members. For individuals and businesses searching for a "Lawyer Near Me," particularly those who might be involved in disputes with HOAs or facing property-related legal action, it is imperative to be aware of these severe negative testimonials. A very cautious and thorough due diligence process, beyond initial contact, would be essential when considering Henry Oddo Austin & Fletcher for legal services, carefully weighing these serious concerns against any positive attributes the firm might otherwise present.

This law firm is willing to steal homes from military service members and their families while they are away on orders by lying, and falsifying documentation to the local courts. They are a disgrace to America, and truly follow the teachings of Satan. They should be avoided at all costs. If you fall victim to their legal antics and find yourself in their crosshairs fight them on behalf of all that is good and holy in our country. God is on our side.

Horrible company! Does not respond to voicemails! Does not take card payments! Very very unprofessional company! How are you a law firm that does not make it easy or convenient to make payments with all the technology out here! Making all this money but can’t afford a system that allows you to make convenient payments! They would rather sue you to obtain more money! Con artist by far!

Horrifying experience. We are in the middle of getting approved for a repayment plan...the law firm sent out sensitive information like our names, debt owed, and account numbers to our addresses from 10 years ago. When they know we don't live there. They were trying to let our kin know all about our past due totals. They leaked our information. A stranger lives at one of the addresses. Also, we were previously on a payment plan... only owed $200 more. Husband was laid off. Now, with a huge list of bogus fees, the $200 owed has turned into almost $1300! Insane, when Yearly HOA FEES ARE ONLY $300. I can't wait for the day someone does a class action suit against them and HOA!
