Mar 13, 2025 · Paula MI was having an issue with social security and wasn't getting anywhere with my situation from the people who answered the phone at the local SSI office. I was told by my caseworker that a good place to call to get advice/help with my problem would be The Homeless Advocacy Project. Sure enough only one day after calling the HAP (homeless advocacy project) a woman on the phone left me a voicemail and eventually after speaking to them they were able to direct me in the right direction for the help i needed. The people were very nice and i would definitely call them again if i needed their services.
