Never ever call you back. Try to force you into plea bargain even though from day one you told them investigate my side. You find out cop lied and there's proof, they refuse to interview any witnesses after 2 years. I've filed complains by my self. They and the court have refused ADA accomadation s. I've asked about what to do about civil rights violations by sheriff's and they refuse to tell me.

Welcome to Lawyers Near Me, your online platform connecting you with legal professionals in your local area. When facing legal challenges, particularly in the realm of criminal defense, effective and responsive representation is paramount. Today, we present information regarding Jason Steen, an attorney with an office located at 741 SW Lincoln St, Portland, OR 97201, USA, offering legal services in the Portland, Oregon area.

Information regarding the specific environment of Jason Steen's office is not detailed in the provided reviews. However, law offices typically aim to provide a professional setting where clients can discuss their legal matters with their attorney. This generally includes meeting rooms for private consultations and administrative areas for case management. Given the limited information, it's challenging to describe the office atmosphere beyond the expectation of a standard legal practice environment.

Based on the available customer reviews, Jason Steen appears to practice criminal defense law, including serving as a state-appointed attorney. However, the feedback from these reviews raises significant concerns regarding communication and case handling. One client alleges a failure to return calls, an attempt to push for a plea bargain without adequate investigation of their side of the case, and a refusal to interview witnesses even after the client presented evidence of alleged police misconduct. This reviewer also mentions difficulties in obtaining ADA accommodations through the court and the attorney's alleged refusal to provide information regarding potential civil rights violations.

Another review echoes the serious issue of a lack of communication, stating that the attorney "never called me back." This client recounts a situation where, as a state-appointed attorney, the lack of communication allegedly led to an arrest for failure to appear in court, despite the client having been pardoned from appearing for a previously scheduled date. The client states that after being pardoned, they called Mr. Steen's office to check on their new court date but received no response for over a month. This lack of communication reportedly left the client unaware of their required court appearance.

The features of Jason Steen's legal practice, as perceived through these reviews, present a concerning picture regarding client communication and case management. The alleged failure to return calls and the reluctance to investigate a client's claims, even with reported evidence, are significant issues raised by former clients. The inability to facilitate ADA accommodations and the alleged refusal to advise on potential civil rights violations further compound these concerns. The reviews suggest a lack of proactive communication and a potential disconnect between the clients' expectations of representation and the services they reportedly received.

Currently, there is no promotional information available for Jason Steen based on the provided reviews. In fact, the strong negative experiences shared by these clients serve as a cautionary note for potential clients. The lack of positive feedback and the serious allegations made regarding communication and case handling do not provide any basis for highlighting promotional aspects or unique selling points.

For local users on the Lawyers Near Me platform seeking criminal defense representation in Portland, Oregon, the feedback regarding Jason Steen warrants careful consideration. The consistent and serious allegations of a failure to communicate and a lack of diligence in investigating a client's case are significant red flags. While every legal representation experience can vary, the issues raised in these reviews should prompt potential clients to conduct thorough due diligence and seek additional information before making a decision. It would be prudent to explore other options for legal counsel and to prioritize attorneys with a demonstrated track record of effective communication and diligent representation.

Given the nature of the feedback, it is difficult to recommend contacting Jason Steen's office at 741 SW Lincoln St, Portland, OR 97201, USA, without strongly advising potential clients to proceed with extreme caution and to seek corroborating information from other sources. The phone number provided is not included in the initial information, so direct contact details are unavailable within the given data. However, based on the reviews, it would be advisable for individuals seeking legal representation to prioritize firms and attorneys with a reputation for responsiveness, thoroughness, and a commitment to client communication and advocacy. The experiences shared by these reviewers highlight the critical importance of these qualities in legal representation, particularly in criminal defense matters where the stakes are often very high.

Never called me back which as my state appointed attorney got me arrested for failure to show. I was pardoned for showing for my court date that would be without doubt set over and when I called him to check in on my case he never contacted me back and no one from his office let me know when my next court date was after I was pardoned from appearing so I had no clue. It鈥檚 been a month, still no call back.
