I hired this attorney hoping for strong representation in a challenging custody case. Initially, things seemed fine—until she received payment. After that, communication dropped off almost completely. I was left uninformed and unsupported during some of the most critical stages of my case. She gave me terrible legal advice and made damaging assumptions that I would lose in court. Based on those assumptions, she made poor decisions before the hearing that significantly harmed my position. In the end, I won—but it was despite her, not because of her. Her judgment was deeply flawed, and she clearly had no confidence in my case or any real interest in fighting for me. After the hearing, she sent me a sarcastic email saying, “I know everything is my fault,” then claimed she was proud of her work—even though the result was that I no longer have my children near me. That kind of response is not just unprofessional; it’s heartless. When I raised concerns, she constantly had excuses and flipped the narrative to make herself the victim. This was classic gaslighting—minimizing my concerns, distorting reality, and avoiding responsibility for the harm her decisions caused. I honestly wish she had put as much effort into fighting for my case as she did into gaslighting me and playing the victim. To make matters worse, when I confronted the consequences of her actions, she told me that if I wanted to “fix everything,” I’d need to proceed to trial—at an additional cost of $20,000 to $30,000. This was after I had already paid her nearly $30,000 for legal representation that did more harm than good. This attorney should not be working with vulnerable clients or handling family law cases. She demonstrated a lack of compassion, poor judgment, manipulative tendencies, and an unwillingness to take responsibility. I deeply regret hiring her and strongly advise others to think twice before doing the same. I am just lucky that the opposing counsel was even more incompetent than my own.

As a platform connecting local users with legal professionals under the category "Lawyers Near Me," providing a comprehensive and objective view of attorneys like Jennifer Wiggins Moore is essential. This introduction aims to present publicly available information, primarily derived from customer reviews, to assist you in making an informed decision when seeking family law representation.

Based on the information available, Jennifer Wiggins Moore Family Law focuses on family law matters. Family law typically encompasses a range of legal issues related to domestic relations, including divorce, child custody and visitation, child support, adoption, spousal support (alimony), property division, and modifications of existing court orders. Individuals facing these life-altering situations require legal counsel that is not only knowledgeable in the law but also empathetic and communicative.

However, the customer reviews provided paint a concerning picture regarding the services and professional conduct of Jennifer Wiggins Moore. Multiple reviewers express significant dissatisfaction with their experiences, highlighting issues related to communication, legal advice, professionalism, and billing practices. It is crucial for potential clients to carefully consider these firsthand accounts when making a decision about legal representation.

One reviewer who hired Jennifer Wiggins Moore for a challenging custody case reports an initial positive impression that deteriorated significantly after payment. The reviewer alleges a near-complete breakdown in communication, leaving them uninformed and unsupported during critical stages of their case. This lack of communication is a serious concern, as effective attorney-client communication is vital for a client to understand the progress of their case, make informed decisions, and feel supported throughout the legal process.

Furthermore, this reviewer claims that Jennifer Wiggins Moore provided "terrible legal advice" based on damaging assumptions that the client would lose in court. Consequently, the reviewer states that the attorney made poor pre-hearing decisions that negatively impacted their position. Despite these alleged missteps, the client ultimately won their case, attributing the victory to their own efforts and the opposing counsel's incompetence rather than their own attorney's effectiveness. The reviewer's assertion that Jennifer Wiggins Moore had no confidence in their case or genuine interest in fighting for them raises serious questions about her commitment to her clients.

The same reviewer also describes receiving a "sarcastic" and "heartless" email after the hearing, where Jennifer Wiggins Moore allegedly stated, "I know everything is my fault," before claiming pride in her work, despite the outcome of the client no longer having their children nearby. Such a response, if accurate, indicates a severe lack of empathy and professionalism, particularly in the sensitive field of family law where clients are often experiencing significant emotional distress.

The reviewer further accuses Jennifer Wiggins Moore of gaslighting – minimizing their concerns, distorting reality, and avoiding responsibility for the perceived harm caused by her decisions. This behavior, if substantiated, is deeply concerning as it undermines the trust and open communication necessary for a productive attorney-client relationship. The reviewer expresses regret for hiring Jennifer Wiggins Moore and strongly advises others to exercise caution.

Another reviewer echoes similar concerns regarding a lack of responsiveness, stating that Jennifer Wiggins Moore would "disappear without response for weeks." This lack of communication is compounded by allegations of high hourly rates ($400 per hour) for what the reviewer deems as basic paperwork. The reviewer also claims that Jennifer Wiggins Moore missed court dates, leaving the client to face the opposing counsel alone. This is a critical failure in legal representation, as attending court hearings and advocating for the client are fundamental duties of an attorney.

Adding to the alarming allegations, this second reviewer states that Jennifer Wiggins Moore did not review evidence provided by the client and charged $100 simply to answer questions through a portal. The reviewer also claims to have gone through over a year of custody court without ever meeting Jennifer Wiggins Moore in person, alleging a refusal to meet and charging "outrageous prices" for work that could be done by a less expensive attorney. This paints a picture of an attorney who is allegedly inaccessible, unresponsive, and potentially overcharging for services.

Both reviewers strongly recommend against hiring Jennifer Wiggins Moore, expressing the belief that she does not have her clients' best interests at heart and is primarily focused on financial gain. These are serious accusations that potential clients should carefully consider.

It is important to reiterate that these reviews represent individual experiences and perspectives. However, the consistency and severity of the issues raised – lack of communication, poor legal advice, unprofessional conduct, questionable billing practices, and a perceived lack of empathy – warrant significant caution for anyone considering retaining Jennifer Wiggins Moore Family Law.

This attorney will disappear without response for weeks and charge you $400 an hour just to do paperwork. she misses court dates leaving you alone against the opposing council to fend for yourself. She doesn't go through evidence given to her and she will charge you $100 just to answer questions through a portal. I went through custody court for over a year and I never met the woman once. She refused to meet in person and does whatever she wants and charges you outrageous prices for attorney work that could be done by the cheapest attorney. Save yourself and find a different attorney she does not have your best interests at hear she only cares about the money.

The person who benefitted most from Jennifer’s help was my son. Outrageous requests and demands were made, making it impossible to see my son - let alone afford to do anything with him in the small times offered to me. Jennifer fought for what was right and in the best interest of my son. Jennifer’s experience and expertise won my son 50/50 custody (with no child support I should add), the opportunity to attend private school, and much more. Jennifer is the reason my son will get to see his father regularly. I wish there were 6 stars to give.
