I’ve been dealing with this firm since 9/2016.. Here it is 2020. I’m still waiting on settlement. The Insurance company filed bankruptcy in 2018. And Everything was in liquidation.. During the time I filed for Disability in 4/2017 . Not with this office. I had a disability advocate that help me get my disability in 3/2019.. The process with disability was easy. They keep me update on everything... Just wanted to give and update on this firm, here it is 2023 Of May, My Attorney from this office has been handling my case. Just has I mentioned I had been injured back in 2016, Kick in the head. I’ve suffered some serious mental and health problems. All I wanted From this firm was to be treated with respect. Chris Monterosse The Attorney at the Time wasn’t the best Attorney for me. I’ve experienced alot of medical treatment go denied. Through this Attorney not fighting for my rights to receive the best medical treatment. During 2020 at the time of Covid, I just wanted to be done with this firm/ Attorney. So I moved to NC to seek better treatment. It has taken a couple of years to schedule and find the right doctor for my injuries. Neurologist, pain management, physical therapist, PA, Psychiatrist, and the correct Medication. This Firm gave up on me, and stopped fighting for me. After several emails back and forth. The office not keeping me updated or informing me that they had moved their office. I found myself feeling like I was not important nor my case. So I started asking for this Attorney to push for settlement. In the past workers Comp, has sent me settlement documents Twice and I had the firm to make copies and notarized. Before I moved to NC. And I was told then it would take some time. I was ok with that. But in the waiting process. I still needed treatment. That I continue to fight to get. So I just made up my mind to seek it for myself. So in October 2022 my Attorney sent me settlement papers to settle. I wanted to know and for my attorney to explain to me the process. He was very Rude and unprofessional and just wanted me to sign. And when I let him know that I was still seeking Drs for my care. Because I wanted to make sure my head injury and trauma was manageable and treated before signing. Also That I had a upcoming medical appointment That I waited over six months to get. I wanted to make sure I didn’t need further serious medical treatment. And his response was if you don’t sign now you will not get another second opportunity to settle. And I refuse to until I knew were my health status was taken care of. And here I am today. My needs are met. Finding the perfect Dr, and treatment. So I reach out to my Attorney this year in February 2023 asking if he was still my Attorney. He sends me paperwork to sign, to release himself. I just asked him the question? Simply because I tried to call workers Comp company to ask questions and to inform them why I didn’t sign the first settlement agreement. And they stayed I have to speak with my Attorney.. it’s very difficult speaking with someone when they don’t have your best interests at heart.. So today May 20-2023 I reached back out to my Attorney by email to inform him that all my Dr’s and treatment are being taken care of. And I’m ready to settle. So I’m waiting to hear back.. I’m coming back to update on this law firm 01/30/2024. I haven’t spoken to my Attorney in over a year. He refused to fight for my settlement in my case. All because I wouldn’t sign the first settlement in 2022. I didn’t understand the paperwork nor was he willing to explain. I had concerns about the settlement due to my Social Security disability . So I didn’t sign until I spoke to someone that could explain. And social security office did that for me . I had to send in the settlement paperwork. And that took some time for them to get back with me. But I then had a clear understanding. In which my attorney could have helped . He continued to be rude and nasty. And his last phone conversation with me was that the settlement agreement if off you gets nothing. All because I didn’t sign.

Jan 30, 2024 · mildred walkerMy initial experience in 2017 with this office was extremely lackluster. The feeling I got from everyone was that this was a routine meat grinder that all workers comp employees must suffer through whether they like it or not. I have had better experiences at the NYS DMV. Today in 2019, it is clear their attitude toward the working class has not improved. I received a phone call from a very snide receptionist who was annoyed that I had no idea why she was calling me and rudely insisted that I had a court date. She demanded to know why I never alerted them as to when my last doctor's visit was. She was totally clueless that I went to the office once and found I didn't need the service. Don't use this lawyer. Go somewhere where they care enough to keep track of your records after two years. Go somewhere where they know that the way they get to put food on their table is by treating the working class people they serve with respect.
Feb 11, 2019 · Pearl PhillipsBeen using Jonathan since 2013, he was great, since he retired, office is horrible. I contacted the office several weeks ago, the woman was very rude, never got a call back. Called back a week later, Denise said I would get a call back from Mr. Scamardella, didn't happen, went to different lawyer.BTW,she was nice.
Aug 14, 2022 · Angela BeccariaI was injured on the job and retained there firm right away. From day 1 they fought hard to get my workers comp. Without there help I woundnt have stood a chance, the workers comp board is ruthless and doesn't care about your injuries or well being. J. Poznansky put them in there place at every turn. Fought them every time they tried to cut my benefits or medical needs And Won!! Also help me file for Social Security Disability, took care of the mountains of paper work that was involved. represented me with the utmost professionalism and won that for me also. Over the years Ive known friends and others that have needed these services and gone to other attorneys only to have there benefits cut medical needs not met or refused SSD. If your looking for the best representation you can find , for someone that will fight for you and for a law firm that will guide you through the mind boggling mountain of paperwork and questions that comes with filing for Workers Comp & SSD it would be a BIG mistake to go any where else. Feb 07, 2019 · MychaelNYI wish I could give them a negative 5, however the system doesn’t allow it. NEVER USE THIS LAWYER! They are far from professional. Firstly they are rude and seriously don’t care about their clients they only care for the amount of money they get. Once they get paid and you have further problems with your case they blow you off. When and if they decide to represent you they don’t come prepared and make deals with the opposing lawyers and judges without communicating with their client prior to them making a decision for you. I have reported them to the Bar Association!
