Scott Laterra and Jeff Hodge did an outstanding job of representing me in my divorce proceedings and most notably, during post-divorce proceedings. Scott is incredibly knowledgeable, very direct and, most important, responsive. His scope of knowledge of NJ family law is very broad. He provided me with the road map on how to best navigate through a very complex process and how to do it in the most cost efficient manner. When entering each phase of the proceedings, Scott and Jeff instinctively knew what options were available and the potential outcomes of each scenario. Scott and his staff kept me informed of what the timeline would be throughout the proceedings and how to best prepare for each court appearance. Where I felt Scott truly excelled was during negotiations with the other side. I didn’t get everything I wanted, but I didn’t lose as much as I thought I would. Scott and Jeff have great insight of the family law attorneys and, most importantly, the Family Court itself in Bergen County. They’re men of their word and very trustworthy. I don't know about Laterra but stay away from a unethical creature named Geff Hodge. He might have some knowledge but no heart or ethics. He will lie to you, change his words or Say stuff like I do not recall. Don't let this so called attorney handle your case. You will regret.
