Alex was able to deliver the best possible outcome in my traffic case. Without going into details, I was facing a minimum of a six month license suspension; we were ultimately able to plea down to charges that did not result in any license suspension. I couldn’t be any happier with the level of support and ultimate resolution I received relative to the cost of Alex’s services. Should I require legal services in the future, Alex will be my first stop, and I would gladly recommend him to friends/family.

Law Firm of Alexander Silow Introduce

For individuals in the West Chester, Pennsylvania area seeking legal representation, the "Lawyers Near Me" platform offers a directory of local attorneys. Among these is the Law Firm of Alexander Silow, located at 213 W Miner St #101, West Chester, PA 19380, USA. The address indicates a professional office setting within West Chester, likely providing a space for client consultations and legal work. The suite number suggests that the law firm operates within a multi-tenant building, which is common for legal practices and typically offers a confidential environment for discussing legal matters.

The available customer reviews offer contrasting perspectives on the services provided by the Law Firm of Alexander Silow. One client expresses significant satisfaction with the outcome of their traffic case. According to this review, "Alex was able to deliver the best possible outcome" by successfully pleading down charges that would have resulted in a minimum six-month license suspension to charges with no suspension. The client was "extremely happy" with the level of support and the ultimate resolution they received, especially in relation to the cost of the services. This positive experience led the client to state that Alexander Silow would be their "first stop" for future legal needs and that they would "gladly recommend him to friends/family." This testimonial suggests that the Law Firm of Alexander Silow possesses expertise in handling traffic-related legal issues and can achieve favorable results for their clients in this area.

However, another review presents a starkly different experience. This client hired Alex Silow for their husband's drug case and initially found him to be a "decent guy" who "talked a good game." However, their experience deteriorated significantly after paying a $5,000 retainer on the first day. The client describes Mr. Silow as having become "the worst attorney," alleging that he was "very rude and arrogant" and "yelled" at the client more than the District Attorney. The review further claims that "no motions was put in" and that they waited six months for notes of testimony from the preliminary hearing, which the client's husband had requested on the day of hiring. The client also mentions paying an additional $6,500, totaling $11,500, purportedly to secure the "best deal possible," but believes that Mr. Silow "did no work" and was "selling my husband out to the DA the whole time." This client strongly advises against hiring Mr. Silow as a criminal attorney, stating, "He will take your money!"

Considering these two contrasting reviews, it is challenging to provide a definitive and universally positive introduction to the Law Firm of Alexander Silow. The positive review suggests competence and effectiveness in at least one area of law, specifically traffic cases, where the client achieved a highly desirable outcome. The negative review, however, raises serious concerns about the firm's handling of a criminal defense case, citing issues with communication, professionalism, diligence, and the perceived quality of representation.

Potential clients should carefully consider both of these perspectives. The positive review indicates a potential strength in traffic law matters, where the attorney was able to achieve a result that significantly benefited the client. This might be particularly relevant for individuals in the West Chester area facing traffic violations and seeking legal assistance to mitigate potential penalties.

On the other hand, the negative review serves as a significant warning, particularly for those seeking representation in criminal matters. The allegations of rudeness, lack of action, and ineffective representation are serious and should be carefully weighed by anyone considering hiring the Law Firm of Alexander Silow for criminal defense.

Given these conflicting accounts, it is crucial for potential clients to conduct thorough due diligence. This would involve directly contacting the Law Firm of Alexander Silow to discuss their specific legal needs, inquire about their experience in the relevant area of law (whether traffic or criminal), and ask for references. It would also be prudent to seek additional reviews or information from other sources to gain a more comprehensive understanding of the firm's reputation and client satisfaction.

However, given the mixed feedback from previous clients, it would be strongly recommended that any potential client thoroughly investigate the firm's suitability for their specific legal needs before engaging their services. This is particularly important for individuals facing more serious legal matters, such as criminal charges.

In conclusion, the Law Firm of Alexander Silow in West Chester, PA, has received both positive feedback regarding traffic law matters and significant negative feedback concerning a criminal defense case. I hired Alex for my husband drug case. Seemed like a decent guy at first. Talked a good game. 5,000 in his hand from day one! He became the worst attorney. He was very rude and arrogant. yelled at me more than the DA. No motions was put in. We waited 6 months for notes of testimony from the preliminary hearing. Which my husband requested day one of him being hired. Gave him 6500 just for to make it seem like he got the best deal possible when he did no work. Would not recommend for a criminal attorney. He was selling my husband out to the DA the whole time in my opinion. He will take your money!

When I initially consulted Alex Silow to explain the details of my case, he seemed like a good fit as we had a similar take on both the situation and the plan of action. Unfortunately, our relationship soured quickly. I found him to be arrogant, rude, and self-serving. I learned to despise him even more than the lying cops and the low-life DA who cared nothing of my innocence, but only for the chance to bolster his record at my expense. They can all rot in hell and I hope they do. Silow interrupted me, and yelled at me repeatedly in the course of phone calls that should have been a calm back and forth discourse. There was no reason for such abhorrent behavior. I have never met anyone in any profession that talks to their clients like that. This is unacceptable in any setting. And he refused to believe me even though every word I said is true, which only complicated the case. Furthermore, it is my belief that he purposely failed to get the case dismissed in a pre-trial hearing, so that I would have to pay him another $2,500 to go to trial. If his pre-trial failure was not on purpose, then his defense was grossly incompetent. I was charged with theft. Fortunately, there was surveillance video of the entire incident, in which I picked a single piece of scrap wood out of a trash pile and put it back exactly where I found it in under 60 seconds. In order for that to be theft, by definition, there has to be "economic loss". So, after watching the video, the judge says "what's the difference between stealing a car and returning it the next day and stealing this piece of wood and returning it? Any decent attorney would have answered that taking a piece of wood from a demolished deck out of a scrap pile and putting it back within 60 seconds does not constitute "economic loss". Silow failed to do so. The judge held the charge over for trial and Silow put another $2,500 in his pocket, after which the DA, knowing he did not stand a chance at trail, promtly dropped the charges. This experience was a real eye opener about just how corrupt the criminal justice system is. Cops, judges and DAs need criminals (real or fabricated) to justify their cushy salaries from the county. And the defense lawyers are all too happy to extract every dollar they can from the defendant. It's a scam, and they're all in on it. Silow puts on a good act as if he cares, but he's about the $$$, not the client. Disclaimer. The above statements of opinion are just that, my opinion, not facts or accusations. Note: I did not just walk up radomly to a woodpile. I had worked on this property many times for the former owner, who is a building contractor, and believed that this wood belonged to him

Alex has been my go to professional for several matters dealing with everything from traffic violations to my parents estate to legal representation for a family member. He has always taken the time to answer any questions, and provided me with extensive legal advice so I am aware of every aspect of the matter at hand. After meeting with Alex, I am confident in the decisions made as he has taken the time to review all my options, my rights and responsibilities. The pride Alex takes in representing his clients is obvious. Alex has been a true savior during the most difficult times in my life. He remains my go to for any legal matters. I highly recommend him to anyone needing sound legal advice and/or representation. Don't waste your time or money with anyone else!
