Ben seems to be a smart attorney but he is inconsistent and has a condescending demeanor. I regretted working with Ben after my second meeting. He sighed when I asked questions and disappeared at times when counter part attorney pressed. Unfortunately that's when I needed him most. felt stuck with him because I didn't want to miss my closing date. In hindsight, probably should.have switched. Live and learn.

When selecting a lawyer, it is essential to consider factors such as their knowledge, experience, communication style, professionalism, and client feedback. In this case, there are two customer reviews available that provide direct insights into some clients' experiences with Benjamin B. Cooper. These reviews present some significant concerns that potential clients should be aware of and consider carefully.

One reviewer describes Benjamin B. Cooper as seemingly "smart" but criticizes his inconsistency and "condescending demeanor." This reviewer expressed regret about working with him after only the second meeting, citing instances where he allegedly sighed when questions were asked and was unresponsive when the opposing counsel was pressing. The reviewer felt "stuck" due to the approaching closing date but, in hindsight, suggests they should have switched attorneys. This feedback raises concerns about communication style, responsiveness, and overall professionalism.

The second review is even more critical, explicitly advising others to "Do not use Ben Cooper." This reviewer recounts using his services for a "very simple purchase of a condo" and reports several negative experiences. According to this review, after the inspection, Benjamin B. Cooper allegedly refused to communicate with the other side regarding necessary fixes, instructing the clients and their real estate broker to handle it themselves. At the closing, the reviewer claims they were charged an unexplained "extra fee" in addition to the quoted retainer, and they felt they had no representation at the closing but it was too late to change attorneys. Furthermore, the reviewer states that after the closing, they had to repeatedly push for the title and deed. This detailed negative account raises serious concerns about communication, negotiation skills, fee transparency, and post-closing service.

Given these customer reviews, it is important for potential clients to carefully consider the reported issues. While these are individual experiences and may not represent every client's interaction with the Law Office of Benjamin B. The provided reviews suggest potential shortcomings in some of these areas, at least according to the experiences of these two clients. Therefore, if you decide to contact the Law Office of Benjamin B. Cooper, it would be prudent to ask specific questions related to these concerns, such as their communication protocols, approach to negotiations, fee structure transparency, and process for handling important documents like titles and deeds. Do not use Ben Cooper. We recently used him for a very simple purchase of a condo. After inspection, he would not talk to the other side about fixing some issues, told us and our real estate broker to work it out with the other side ourselves. At the closing, he charged us an extra fee in addition to his quoted retainer and could not explain what the extra fee was for. We walked away from the closing wishing we had used the other side’s attorney. We didn’t have any representation at the closing but it was too late to change attorneys at that point. After the closing, he did not provide the title and deed, we had to continually push him for it. Do not use him, there are so many other attorneys available.

Ben and Beth have helped my mother and I through the purchasing of two homes and the sale of two homes, as well as deed changes. They have never been anything short of professional and attentive to our needs. Although these life changes can be stressful, Ben had a way of easing us through the process. I would definitely recommend him!

Ben was pleasant, thorough and professional. As first time home buyers we were nervous going into the process but he made it seamless and easy, and answered all our questions. He was always easily accessible via email or phone. Definitely recommend him!

In general, I felt the lawyer wasn't working in my best interests but just pushing the paperwork through. Milestones came and went and I needed to call for updates. I eventually closed on the house and just found out that the chimney is a safety hazard and doesn't comply with code standards. This was provided in the chimney report to the lawyer but was not flagged by the lawyer. There are plenty of lawyers out there so why even risk it..... find one that cares.
