Since I can't cover details, all I can say is that you will not be disappointed with having her in your corner. 1000% recommended!!!

The name of the law office, "UCMJ Defender," clearly defines its primary area of legal service: defense under the Uniform Code of Military Justice. Services likely offered by the Law Office of Jocelyn C. Stewart - UCMJ Defender include:
The Law Office's explicit focus on UCMJ defense suggests a level of specialized knowledge and experience in this complex area of law, which can be a critical feature for military clients. Individuals facing military justice issues often require an attorney who is not only familiar with civilian law but also deeply understands the intricacies of military regulations and procedures.
However, the customer reviews provide a starkly contrasting view of the firm's services and client relations. One review expresses extreme satisfaction, highlighting Jocelyn Stewart's knowledge, availability, and the positive outcome of the representation. This client, based in Hawaii, specifically mentioned her accessibility despite time differences, suggesting a commitment to client communication regardless of location. The enthusiastic recommendation ("1000% recommended!!!") speaks to a very positive experience.
Conversely, the other review presents serious allegations of misconduct. This reviewer labels the firm a "SCAM!!" and claims a complete lack of communication after payment, alleging that cases are assigned to inexperienced lawyers. The review specifically names a "lawyer Conner" who is accused of inexperience, making false promises, failing to meet with the client, and being unresponsive and disrespectful. The reviewer strongly advises others to "STAT AWAY!!" from the firm.
These conflicting reviews make it challenging to provide an entirely objective assessment of the Law Office of Jocelyn C. Stewart - UCMJ Defender based solely on this information. The positive review suggests effective and dedicated representation in at least one instance, while the negative review raises significant concerns about the firm's practices, communication, and the competency of at least one attorney associated with the office. Given the limited information beyond the firm's specialization and the conflicting reviews, details about specific features or promotional information are not available. The positive review could be interpreted as a testament to the potential for strong client service and positive outcomes when working with Jocelyn Stewart directly. However, the serious allegations in the negative review cannot be ignored and should prompt potential clients to conduct thorough due diligence. This could include seeking additional reviews from other sources, verifying the credentials and experience of the attorneys at the firm, and inquiring specifically about case assignment and communication protocols during an initial consultation.
In conclusion, the Law Office of Jocelyn C. Stewart - UCMJ Defender, located in Tacoma, WA, specializes in providing legal defense for military personnel facing issues under the Uniform Code of Military Justice. While one client review praises Jocelyn Stewart's knowledge and dedication, another review makes serious allegations of scam-like behavior, poor communication, and the assignment of cases to inexperienced counsel. For individuals in the Tacoma area or nearby military installations seeking a UCMJ defender through the "Lawyers Near Me" platform, it is crucial to approach this law office with caution and conduct thorough independent research. Apr 17, 2025 · Angel MartellSCAM!! After they take your money they will never respond to your calls or emails. They will assign the case to another lawyer that has no experience at all. A lawyer name Conner, doesn’t know what he is doing, he promised us lies. He won’t arraign meeting with us to go over the case. Doesn’t answer calls text or emails. Very disrespectful lawyer. And very disrespectful law office. We found out later that he is not doing what he suppose to do. He also lied to us many times about the case just to give himself an excuse for not doing stuff on time. STAT AWAY!!

Jan 06, 2024 · Ethan ValiquetteThe military "justice" system has become a weapon to push political agendas, DEI, and other social experiments. While most servicemen are patriots, a minority of troublemakers will exploit grievance systems when they are being held accountable. It does not matter if you are right or wrong - you will be flagged, investigated, and have your career put on hold for baseless allegations. You can love the military, but it's not going to love you back, it will leave you behind in an effort to protect itself. Working with Jocelyn I could tell that she takes pride in her work and defending her clients - she is a genuine person and cares about people. She is a bright, intelligent, and passionate litigator, and I highly recommend her.
Aug 22, 2024 · Arturo NapolitanoStay away. Spend your money elsewhere unless you have $40,000+ to burn away. If you are reading this, you are most likely going through one of the most turbulent times in your career and life, as I was months ago. From the first interaction with Jocelyn, there were numerous red flags that I chose not to acknowledge. Documents weren’t sent on time; communication was scarce, and I would be sent other clients' documentation. But, I believed in the Google reviews, the testimonials on the website, and simply wanted to believe I had the best representation. Yet, during this time, Jocelyn never did what she had promised. There were no witness interviews. There were no follow-up questions with any pertinent party. Nothing. But I trusted her. And I signed contract after contract with her. (She pieces out every portion of your interaction with her under a new contract; there is no flat fee—another red flag.) After paying tens of thousands of dollars, my situation only worsened (for a simple case). Ultimately, she stopped responding once the previous contract was up, and I didn’t have an extra five thousand to dump on top of the tens of thousands I had already given her. She quite literally ceased all communication with me at the darkest point of my life and my career. By the grace of god, I was able to find another UCMJ lawyer who is even better and a decent human being and communicates—and charged me a fraction of what I paid Jocelyn FOR EVERYTHING. And there was no individual contract for every scenario. I am beyond glad to say I am in a better place now but to no thanks to this firm. Stay away.
