I used him and his firm to sell my Co-Op and gave him power of attorney to sign for me since i couldn’t be there. Ever since the deal closed i haven’t heard from him, and his office will not answer or return my calls. He withheld money until i shipped the keys, and even after i sent them, i have not received the money back. His office also has not sent me any closing documents which i need for taxes and other things. This is extremely disappointing and frustrating. All of my calls and emails are being ignored. I don’t live in the state anymore so i can’t even go to the office to speak to anyone. So this is very frustrating.

Law Offices Of Anthony J. Cassese Introduce

For individuals and businesses in White Plains, New York, and the surrounding areas seeking legal assistance with real estate matters, the Law Offices Of Anthony J. Cassese, located at 7-11 S Broadway #308, presents a local option within the "Lawyers Near Me" platform category. The available customer reviews offer contrasting perspectives on the firm's services, highlighting the importance of considering varied experiences when selecting legal representation. This introduction aims to provide an objective overview of the firm based on the information available, addressing the potential environment, services, features, and any implied promotional aspects.

The physical environment of the Law Offices Of Anthony J. Cassese, situated at a suite number within a building on South Broadway in White Plains, is likely a professional office setting typical of law firms. Clients can generally expect a space conducive to private consultations and the handling of legal documentation. However, specific details regarding the office ambiance or facilities are not provided in the reviews.

Based on the limited information from the customer reviews, the primary service offered by the Law Offices Of Anthony J. Cassese appears to be real estate law. One client explicitly mentioned using the firm to sell a Co-Op and granted power of attorney for the closing. Another reviewer, a real estate professional, stated that Anthony J. Cassese is their "go-to Real Estate Attorney" for their clients, indicating experience in handling various real estate deals. These comments suggest that the firm provides legal representation in real estate transactions, potentially encompassing:

  • Residential Real Estate Transactions: Representing buyers and sellers in the purchase and sale of homes, including Co-Ops.

  • Power of Attorney in Real Estate: Acting on behalf of clients who are unable to attend closings or other real estate-related matters.

  • Real Estate Deal Facilitation: Assisting with the various legal aspects of real estate transactions to ensure smooth and legally sound processes.

However, one of the reviews raises significant concerns regarding post-closing communication and the handling of funds and closing documents. This account details a lack of communication, unreturned calls, and delays in the release of funds and provision of necessary tax documents. This paints a potentially negative picture of the firm's client service and follow-through in certain situations.

In contrast, the other review offers a positive perspective, highlighting Anthony J. Cassese as a reliable attorney for real estate deals, with the reviewer having completed over 20 deals with his team without any negative experiences. This suggests that for some clients, the firm provides satisfactory service and is considered a trusted partner in real estate transactions.

The features of the Law Offices Of Anthony J. Cassese are somewhat ambiguous due to the conflicting reviews. The positive review suggests potential strengths such as experience in real estate deals and a reliable team. The repeated use by a real estate professional implies a level of competence and familiarity with the local market. However, the negative review raises concerns about communication, responsiveness, and the handling of post-closing matters.

It is important for potential clients to weigh these contrasting experiences. The positive review could indicate a generally satisfactory service for many clients, particularly those actively involved in the local real estate market. The negative review, however, serves as a cautionary tale, highlighting potential issues with communication and post-transaction follow-up, especially for clients who may not be physically present in the area.

In terms of promotional information, the positive review acts as a strong endorsement, recommending Anthony J. Cassese to anyone seeking representation in a real estate deal. The reviewer's repeated use of his services further reinforces this positive image. This testimonial serves as a key promotional element, suggesting reliability and expertise in the field.

Conversely, the detailed negative review, while not intended as such, serves as a critical piece of information that potential clients should consider. It highlights potential pitfalls and the importance of clear communication and diligent follow-through in legal representation, particularly in real estate transactions where significant financial and administrative matters are involved.

For local users in White Plains seeking a real estate attorney through the "Lawyers Near Me" platform, the Law Offices Of Anthony J. Cassese presents a complex picture. The positive review from a repeat client in the real estate industry suggests a level of expertise and reliability that has been beneficial in numerous transactions. However, the detailed account of poor communication, delays in fund disbursement, and failure to provide necessary documents raises serious concerns about client service in certain situations.

Prospective clients should carefully consider these differing experiences. If you are involved in a real estate deal in the White Plains area, particularly if you require power of attorney or will not be physically present for all aspects of the transaction, it would be prudent to thoroughly discuss communication protocols, timelines for fund disbursement, and the provision of closing documents with the firm upfront. It may also be beneficial to seek additional reviews or references to gain a broader understanding of the firm's overall client satisfaction record.

In conclusion, the Law Offices Of Anthony J. Cassese in White Plains, NY, handles real estate legal matters. While one reviewer expresses significant dissatisfaction with post-closing communication and handling of funds and documents, another reviewer, a real estate professional, speaks highly of their services based on numerous successful transactions. Anthony is my go-to Real Estate Attorney for all of my clients. I have never had a bad experience with over 20 deals done so far with his team. Highly recommend him to anyone looking for representation in a real estate deal.

Anthony Cassese was referred to me by a really reputable person. Initially, when I spoke with him, he had gotten back to me in the first two days and he was really personable and nice. As time went on, I was hearing less and less from him. I totally understand that lawyers are really busy, however, I felt really neglected. In my mind, a lawyer will get back to you in maybe 1 to 3 business days, but this didn't happen. On one of several occasions, I emailed Anthony on May 6th and I didn't hear back until May 19th. After that, I wrote him on May 21st and hadn't heard from him again. Because of the housing market now, I knew that we had to move a little quicker to make sure that we could secure and close on our house. Unfortunately, my seller informed me that he had to show the house to other people so that he can sell quickly being that his lawyer could not contact Anthony and neither could I. Because of this, I emailed Anthony informing him that I can no longer use his services because of the lack of communication and immediately found an alternate lawyer. In the first day, the other lawyer contacted me and tried to do all he could to get the contract in order. Unfortunately, it was too late. The seller informed me that they accepted another offer on June 3rd. We just lost our house🥺. It was really disappointing. So although Anthony is super personable, he seems knowledgeable, and he's really nice, he has neglectful communication and that caused us to lose our house that we have been working on for the last couple of months. It's so so hurtful and sad. So for that, I had to rate him this way.

Anthony helped me immensely in 2018 when dealing with real estate legal needs, while moving my family across the country. Helped with negotiations and closing!! Very helpful, thorough and fairly priced! Highly recommend!

Poor communication. Office communication tappers off as the time goes. I’m sure they are more focused on bring in new clients then retaining old ones. Same issues as below. Long wait time for replying to emails and call back. Was refereed to by our realtor should have looked into our own lawyer.
