Firstly, I'm sure plenty of people have had success with this office but unfortunately I cannot say the same. After being denied at Dublin airport preclearance for not demonstrating home country ties, my partner and I reached out to the office of Caro Kinsella for help. Her assistant scheduled a meeting for 2 weeks time in the Dublin office at something around $500. My US based partner flew into Dublin, only for the meeting to get moved out by a week later, just a few days beforehand. I was pretty disappointed as my partner had to return to the states. When the day finally came I went to the office myself and waited for over 40mins. My partner was waiting on the phone all this time to join. Eventually I met with Caro and told her my story. She had said this situation was common and refusal at point of entry is becoming more frequent but as I had not received any paper work at the airport and my passport was not stamped, my ESTA (visa which I was traveling on) was most likely not canceled and that it was most likely "immigration using scare tactics". She advised I should try to return to the US via an alternate route to visit my partner. After a few weeks mulling over this and googling I realized I could check status of my ESTA on the USCIS website- which I did and saw yes it was canceled indeed andI was not authorized to travel. During these weeks Caro's assistant had been emailing to schedule a follow up meeting ($$$). When I responded with a screen shot of the the ESTA status I heard nothing back. I realized this office was not trying to help here but just make more money. If I had followed through on the advice I had received, and tried to enter the US I could have been met with worst ramifications than refusal, I could have been blacklisted. Why I was told to "take a chance" rather than providing advice on how to check status of ESTA is beyond me. I'm happy to say we went through k1 fiance visa process ourselves and I'm here in the US with no extra money paid to lawyers. Based on the service received and poor advice I would not recommend Caro Kinsella.
For local users navigating the complexities of immigration law and searching for legal assistance through platforms like "Lawyers Near Me," it is important to conduct thorough research on potential legal representatives. This introduction provides an overview of the Law Offices of Caro Kinsella, based at 245 Park Ave floor 39, New York, NY 10167, USA, drawing upon publicly available information, including customer reviews found online. It is crucial to note that the following description is based solely on the provided text and does not represent an endorsement or validation of the services offered.
The physical office of the Law Offices of Caro Kinsella is listed at a prestigious business address in midtown Manhattan, on Park Avenue. This location is indicative of a firm operating within a central commercial district of New York City. However, it is important to note, as mentioned in one of the customer reviews, that this address may be associated with a virtual office service (Regus). A virtual office provides a business address and related services without necessarily indicating that the law firm maintains a full-time physical presence at that specific location. Potential clients may wish to inquire about the actual location where consultations and meetings take place.
Based on the context of the provided customer reviews, the Law Offices of Caro Kinsella appear to focus primarily on immigration law. The reviews discuss experiences related to visa applications (including ESTA and Green Card processes) and issues encountered at airport preclearance. These suggest that the services offered may include assistance with various aspects of immigration, such as advising clients on visa requirements, helping with the application processes, and potentially representing clients in immigration-related matters.
However, it is essential for prospective clients to carefully consider the feedback shared in the online reviews. One review details a negative experience where the client sought assistance after being denied preclearance at Dublin airport. The client recounts difficulties in scheduling and the eventual advice received, which they later found to be potentially harmful. This individual expressed concerns about the accuracy of the information provided and the potential financial motivation behind the recommendations. They ultimately chose to pursue the visa process independently and successfully.
Another review describes a consultation experience as "terrible and costly." This reviewer felt that Ms. Kinsella talked at them without allowing questions and presented their prior actions as incorrect, suggesting that a visa delay was inevitable unless her advice was followed. The reviewer also noted the abrupt end to the phone consultation, which they found unprofessional. Interestingly, this client received their Green Card on time after proceeding through the standard channels independently.
These reviews raise concerns about the quality of advice, the professionalism of the service, and the potential cost-effectiveness of engaging the Law Offices of Caro Kinsella. The feedback suggests a need for potential clients to be particularly diligent in researching their own situations, understanding the relevant processes, and carefully evaluating the advice and recommendations provided by this law office.
One reviewer explicitly advises others in similar situations to educate themselves thoroughly about the immigration process before seeking paid legal advice and to heavily research paid services if their situation is not straightforward. This highlights the importance of informed decision-making when choosing legal representation, especially in complex areas like immigration law.
The response from Caro Kinsella to one of the reviews, as mentioned by the reviewer, involved a threat of legal action regarding a previous, more detailed review. The reviewer found this response to be unprofessional and defended the accuracy of their account, referencing email correspondence with the office, including fee quotes for services they ultimately completed themselves. This interaction further underscores the need for potential clients to consider all available information when making their decision.
Given the information available, it is challenging to provide a positive promotional overview of the Law Offices of Caro Kinsella. The direct feedback from individuals who have engaged with this office raises significant concerns about the accuracy of advice, the cost of services relative to the perceived value, and the overall client experience. While the office is located in a prominent area of New York City and appears to offer services in immigration law, prospective clients should weigh the negative feedback presented in the reviews very carefully.
For local users on "Lawyers Near Me" seeking immigration legal assistance, the Law Offices of Caro Kinsella represent one option. However, in light of the publicly available reviews, it is strongly recommended that individuals conduct thorough due diligence. This includes seeking multiple opinions, verifying information independently through official sources (such as the USCIS website), and carefully considering the potential costs and benefits before engaging this or any other legal service provider. Contacting the Law Offices of Caro Kinsella at (954) 304-2243 or +1 954-304-2243 may provide further information, but it should be balanced against the experiences shared by previous clients.
In conclusion, the Law Offices of Caro Kinsella, while located in New York City and offering services in immigration law, have received negative feedback from some clients regarding the quality of advice, service professionalism, and cost. Local users seeking immigration lawyers through platforms like "Lawyers Near Me" should approach this option with caution, conduct thorough independent research, and consider all available information before making a decision.

Nov 04, 2019 · JessSpoke with Caro Kinsella for a consultation regarding my husband’s visa. We found this to be a terrible, costly experience, and we did not take her advice. She talked AT us during the entire half hour phone consultation, fielding zero questions and informing us everything we had done was wrong and that his visa would undoubtedly be delayed months unless we listened to her advice. The call was timed with conversation ending mid-sentence (like a collect call). Having sought legal advice in the past, it all seemed a bit unprofessional. We received the Green Card on time (literally 3 weeks after the conversation with Ms. Kinsella) going through the proper channels in the end. I must state that this is my opinion of the interaction as Ms. Kinsella threatened me with legal action for a previous, more detailed review. My advice to people that find themselves in this situation is to educate yourself about the process as much as possible before seeking paid advice. If your situation is not straightforward, heavily research the paid services available before you engage. Also, the address listed as her "office" is a paid service for a virtual office address with Regus. RESPONSE TO CARO KINSELLA'S 6/11/2019: Normally businesses just apologize and move on, but you defame? Not sure what sort of business tactic this is either, but to borrow from you, it's highly unprofessional. Could this possibly be because it was booked under my husband's name? I guess the extra "research" (see attached) you required for our hour consultation didn't include learning the name of his spouse? I have over a dozen emails from Rebekah K. referencing our call, including the one where she quoted us $3650 (this includes a $2000 "coupon" for Irish citizens) in legal fees to file my husband's Green Card (which we successfully did ourselves) and the one where she threatened me with legal action if I didn't remove my first review. Please let me know if I need to post those to jog your memory.
May 05, 2020 · Meghan DaveyCaro’s office provided excellent service during the petitioning for my Australian spouse to join me in the U.S. She was always there to help us whenever we had questions or concerns about the process. I was very impressed with her quick responses and see our case through successfully. I would certainly recommend her to others.
