Mrs. Wemmert has done such an excellent job of representing me. She is a wonderful attorney who will go the extra mile if you allow her to. She's been my attorney for almost 5 years. I have zero regrets with choosing her to fight for my son and myself.

It is important to note that the provided reviews present conflicting perspectives on service delivery, which prospective clients should consider when assessing the firm's suitability for their specific needs.

The Law Offices of Judith K. Wemmert, P.C. demonstrates certain features based on client feedback, though it's important to consider both perspectives presented:

  • Dedicated Client Advocacy (as per one review): One client describes Mrs. Wemmert as a "wonderful attorney who will go the extra mile if you allow her to." This highlights a perceived strong commitment to fighting for her clients' best interests, particularly in sensitive family law matters. The client also mentions having her as an attorney for "almost 5 years," suggesting a long-term relationship built on trust and consistent representation.
  • Focus on Family-Related Legal Issues: The positive review's emphasis on "fight for my son and myself" strongly indicates a specialization or significant experience in child custody and other related family law cases. This focus can be a significant advantage for clients seeking expertise in these specific areas.
  • Potential for Strong Representation: The positive feedback suggests that when the attorney is fully engaged, she provides robust representation, working diligently on behalf of her clients.

However, it is crucial to acknowledge a conflicting perspective from another review:

  • Concerns Regarding Professionalism and Communication: A negative review states, "Judy is really unprofessional just took my money and never contacted back. Really hard to get ahold of her and left me with nothing. I am still on a temp order and she never contacted me back or not even an email. Now I have to pay for a whole new lawyer." This highlights serious concerns about responsiveness, communication, and client follow-through. Such issues can be detrimental to a client's case, especially in time-sensitive legal situations, potentially leading to additional costs and stress.

Prospective clients should weigh both these aspects carefully when considering the Law Offices of Judith K. Wemmert, P.C. for their legal needs, and perhaps consider asking specific questions about communication protocols and case management during an initial consultation.

She is one of the worst lawyers. Can't get a hold of her. Always cancels appts. No communication whats over. Phone just rings. She does not care at all. Would not recommend.

I paid a retainer to go after money I was due and she did nothing in the 4 months she had my money. It was only after 30+ phone calls and threatening to file a complaint with the state bar did she return my money and paperwork (along with a couple of someone else's documents too). I lost out on money for my son because of Judy. She is a GREAT talker and will make you believe in her, and then tear your heart out. SO DISSAPPOINTED. It's NEGATIVE stars for e really!

I hired Judy for my divorce in April of 2019 with the initial down payment of $500. Due to health insurance reasons we decided to stay married, so I didn't really pursue wanting a divorce till March of 2021. Mind you they never called to confirm this was the case the entire time. I was persistent in my calls from March 2021 to try to see an end to my divorce. I hadn't dated the whole time and was ready to put myself out there again and wanted to wrap it up before I did. I probably called once a week or more for updates, left messages every time for them to call back, and when I was returned a call was told that she was drafting it and really busy in court. By June and having heard nothing or gotten any documents, I decided to go down there to speak with someone. Me being a reasonable person and thinking that once you pay someone they will do what you ask them, so that is what I did. I payed her the rest of the balance $1,500, thinking she would do it right away. Right!? Not what happened. Judy did call me once right after I made the payment to ask about good times to go before the court and double check with what we had spoken about previously in our initial consult. She made a statement like "so I see you really want a divorce now!?" Because I had been so persistent in my calls. So by the end of December and still not divorced I decided to ask for my money back. I got a super quick response then with them saying they would refund me the money. I hired another attorney and he got me divorced in 2 weeks. I only received 1k back of my payment from Judy. I really wish I would not have paid her in June 2021. I should have known something like this would happen due to how difficult it was to get ahold of her, even after I was a client. Live and learn.
