BEWARE! Unfortunately in a desperate need for legal counsel we hired Mr. Arentz. I first met with his legal assistant Mark Ryan, who was very persuasive. Mr. Ryan really fooled us into thinking Mr. Arentz would defend our case the best he could. Well, he did the bare minimum. By bare minimum I mean all he did was show up to court. The outcome of the case ended terribly. No charges were dropped or negotiated and his response to me was “I don’t have a magic wand to make this all disappear”. He could’ve put up a very good fight but chose not to. DO NOT LET THIS MAN ROB YOU OF YOUR MONEY AND MOST IMPORTANTLY YOUR FREEDOM! I cannot stress enough what terrible representation he has provided our family.
If you are searching within the "Lawyers Near Me" category for legal representation in Phoenix, Arizona, particularly in the area of criminal defense, the Law Offices of Robert Arentz, located at 3101 N Central Ave Ste 100, Phoenix, AZ 85012, USA, is a firm to consider. The Law Offices of Robert Arentz are situated in a commercial building on North Central Avenue, a well-known and accessible location within Phoenix. While specific details about the office environment are not available online, it is typical for law offices to provide a professional and private setting where clients can discuss sensitive legal matters with their attorneys and legal staff. Clients can likely expect a space conducive to confidential consultations and the preparation of legal strategies.
Based on the limited information available through online reviews, the primary focus of the Law Offices of Robert Arentz appears to be criminal defense. This area of law involves representing individuals who have been accused of committing crimes, ranging from misdemeanors to serious felonies. The reviews provide contrasting perspectives on the firm's services and outcomes.
One review expresses significant dissatisfaction with the representation provided by Mr. Arentz. The reviewer recounts hiring the firm in a situation of "desperate need for legal counsel" and initially being persuaded by a legal assistant, Mark Ryan. However, the reviewer states that Mr. Arentz provided the "bare minimum" representation, allegedly only appearing in court without actively fighting the case or negotiating charges. This negative experience resulted in a "terrible" outcome for the client, with no charges being dropped or negotiated. The reviewer strongly advises others against hiring Mr. Arentz, warning of potential financial loss and the risk to personal freedom due to what they perceived as inadequate representation.
In contrast, another review presents a positive experience with the Law Offices of Robert Arentz. This reviewer and a friend were seeking an "honest lawyer who has experience and wasn’t going to treat us like a number." They felt comfortable after speaking with Mark (presumably the same legal assistant mentioned in the negative review), who they found knowledgeable and caring. The positive review highlights a case where John, facing potential mandatory prison time for felony charges, was successfully helped by Mr. Arentz to avoid this outcome. The reviewers express gratitude and attribute their positive experience to trusting their "gut feeling" about the firm.
These contrasting reviews illustrate the subjective nature of legal experiences and the potential for varying outcomes in legal cases. It is important to recognize that each case is unique, with its own set of facts, evidence, and legal complexities. The outcome of a legal matter can be influenced by numerous factors, some of which may be beyond the direct control of the attorney.
When considering a criminal defense attorney, it is crucial for potential clients to conduct thorough research and, if possible, speak with multiple attorneys to assess their experience, approach, and communication style. An initial consultation can provide an opportunity to discuss the specifics of your case, understand the attorney's proposed strategy, and determine if you feel comfortable and confident in their representation.
Given the limited information and the conflicting nature of the available reviews, it is challenging to provide definitive promotional information or features of the Law Offices of Robert Arentz. The positive review emphasizes the firm's ability to handle serious felony charges and achieve a favorable outcome, suggesting experience in complex criminal defense matters. The mention of the legal assistant, Mark Ryan, in both reviews indicates he may play a significant role in client communication and initial case assessment.
For individuals facing criminal charges in the Phoenix area, the Law Offices of Robert Arentz represent a local legal option. However, potential clients should carefully consider the available feedback and conduct their own due diligence before making a hiring decision. It would be prudent to schedule a consultation to discuss your specific situation and gain a better understanding of how the Law Offices of Robert Arentz would approach your case.
In conclusion, the Law Offices of Robert Arentz, located in Phoenix, Arizona, at 3101 N Central Ave Ste 100, offer legal services in the area of criminal defense. While one review expresses strong dissatisfaction with the representation received, another highlights a significant success in a felony case. Individuals seeking a criminal defense attorney in the "Lawyers Near Me" category in Phoenix should consider these contrasting perspectives and conduct thorough research to determine if this firm aligns with their legal needs and expectations. You can contact their office at (602) 266-9600 or +1 602-266-9600.

Feb 18, 2020 · Ashley RuizMy close friend and I were looking for a good honest lawyer who has experience and wasn’t going to treat us like a number. We called and felt at ease after speaking with Mark who was extremely knowledgeable and truly cared. John was facing felony charges with potential mandatory prison time and Mr. Arentz was magnificent and helped him avoid it. We are thankful we found them and we just went with our gut feeling. Thanks again we appreciate you.
Aug 24, 2020 · Billy ChapelRobert unfortunately is the reason Lawyers have a bad name these days. He was wired $5,000 up front and never received any paperwork from him as far as any kind of contract, and was agreed he would contact me before my arraignment. He failed to contact me... We met in person at my arraignment, and after speaking with Robert, i decided to go with another legal representative. I personally got in contact with him and informed him i no longer need his services, his response was that i was unable to "fire" him. That i would need to hire another lawyer first... or write a letter to the judge asking for a public defender... he also refused to issue any kind of refund.. I then hire a Real Attorney that formally submitted a substitution of representation in which Robert himself had to sign as well as the state attorney. My new attorney formally contacted him on a professional level to let him know i'm due a refund, to please itemize a bill with his services and expenses and to deduct it from my deposit with him and to issue a refund.. Robert refused and his response was to file for a Fee Arbitration. In my opinion this is extremely unprofessional from a so called "experienced professional" It's pretty much legal robbery. To this day he hasn't returned any of my calls or emails. This dude is apart of the problem in the legal system and in this world. His license should be revoked from the Arizona BAR.
Jun 15, 2020 · ViolentThe worst lawyer in history! Beware of this guy Robert arentz and his staff! He is a joke of an attorney. He does not represent is clients I’m any shape or form, he’s a fake and a fraud. I paid him to represent a family member all he did was tell them to “shut up before he resigns” and told him he only had one opinion and that was what the state was offering and nothing less. He would not work in his clients favor and bowed down to the prosecutor and everyone else’s working against his client. I heard his staff talking about a client and their weight making fun of the person. They are not professional and they are not for their clients, they are just for the money and NOTHING more! I have been looking to reporting this guy to the State Bar. Please do not trust this guy with your freedom!
