A Profoundly Disappointing Experience My experience with Sobo & Sobo during a major personal injury case was deeply disappointing. Over four years, I felt neglected, misled, and pressured into a settlement that didn’t meet my needs. I’m sharing this to help others make an informed decision. From the start, communication was a problem. Updates were rare unless I reached out, and responses were often brief, coming from a paralegal rather than my attorney. My concerns were brushed aside, leaving me in the dark during an already stressful time. The lack of transparency added unnecessary frustration to a situation that required trust and collaboration. The firm also failed to properly prepare my case, overlooking important evidence and leaving me unprepared for depositions. I was never offered meaningful advice or guidance, which made me feel unsupported throughout the process. Just weeks before trial, my attorney was replaced, and three attorneys pressured me into accepting a low-ball settlement. Although they said it was my choice, their tone and lack of alternatives left me feeling cornered. The settlement didn’t come close to addressing the full financial and personal impact of my injuries. Additionally, a promised discount was not reflected in the final billing. Instead, I was charged 33% of low ball settlement and $13,500 in unclear expenses, with no detailed itemization. The lack of transparency in billing added to my frustration, as it felt like an unfair and unexplained financial burden. This was a life-altering case, and I trusted Sobo & Sobo to handle it with care and professionalism. Unfortunately, my experience left me feeling unsupported, undervalued, and deeply disappointed. I’m sharing this review to help others. If you’re considering Sobo & Sobo, I encourage you to explore other options. A good attorney should prioritize their client’s well-being, communicate openly, and handle cases with diligence and transparency. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this firm. You deserve representation that puts your needs first. Sadly, that was not my experience with Sobo & Sobo.

This is the worst experience. It seems here it doesn’t take much to get hired. The level of education and skill is next to non existing. I believe the cases that have been settled in there favor we sheer by luck. I have been hearing nothing good about my case. I don’t even understand why did they take the case. Yes, I was shifted around to a few lawyers. They are very disorganized and do not communicate at all to what is going on. This has been a very traumatizing experience, sobo and its staff have not made this any easier to deal with. I am their ally disappointed in the lack there of from Sobo and Sobo. I wish I had found another lawyer to represent me. Never be where your tolerated go where your celebrated and Sobo don’t care about you.
