Was lead to believe upon hiring Taylor that if we went to court I would be able to recover all legal fees associated with the suit for the damages to my truck at Galaxy truck wash off Dallas Texas.. Paid him 500$ to start. Every time I asked about going to court he replied it would be about 3500$ to recover my 2200, so I'm under the impression with my video evidence that I would recover all my losses and if not be able to lean the property! Everytime I asked about going to court he kept saying to let him send more letters. He finally gets a 500$ check but it's suspicious so he doesn't cash (understandably) sends more letters. Finally I get aggravated and call Taylor out and we have several argumentative emails, now he says the 3500 is 5000 for court and I can't recover his fees! Then complains about the 3 extra hours he spent spent on the additional letters he kept sending I didn't agree too! So he finally agrees he will cash and send me the 500$ he received and he be done with me. Requested my address. I sent him my address and never received the 500$. So I'm out the money I paid for repairs plus the additional 500$ to Taylor that kept the 500$ he was sent. I paid him the 500$ I thought he needed to recover my losses. I filled a grievance with the state Texas but we know that went no where since attorneys protect attorneys. I will be refiling. Shakespeare had it right regarding attorneys! Also referred him to my father it took him 3 weeks of saying I'll call you tomorrow before he finally called him instead of saying something he couldn't handle. This was a case that turned into a class action against a hospital for Medicare fraud. Once I get my 500$ in a cashier's check I'll consider him an honorable attorney until then I feel I have been cheated! Taylor accused me of just picking fights so why did he take my case? I wasn't trying to make money I was trying to recover my losses for damages caused by another person!! I was 100% under the impression due the the fact my truck was damaged and after attempting to resolve person to person failed only then I hired attorney that I could recover all costs associated!
For individuals in the Fort Worth area seeking legal counsel, Law Snakard & Gambill, situated at 4055 International Plaza #650, Fort Worth, TX 76109, USA, operates within the "Lawyers Near Me" category. They can be reached at (817) 335-7373 or via mobile at +1 817-335-7373. Based on online reviews, client experiences appear to be varied, with some expressing significant dissatisfaction while others report positive interactions with the firm.
One detailed negative review recounts a client's experience with an attorney named Taylor at Law Snakard & Gambill regarding a claim for damages to their truck at a truck wash in Dallas. The client states they paid a $500 retainer based on the understanding that pursuing legal action would allow for the recovery of all associated legal fees in addition to the $2200 in damages. However, the client alleges that every inquiry about going to court was met with an estimated cost of $3500, which later increased to $5000, and the client was reportedly informed they could not recover the attorney's fees. The client expresses frustration over what they perceived as repeated delays through the sending of additional letters, which they claim they did not explicitly agree to. Eventually, a $500 check was received by the attorney on the client's behalf but was not cashed due to suspicion. The client became increasingly dissatisfied with the lack of progress and communication, leading to argumentative emails with the attorney.
The negative review further alleges that the attorney eventually agreed to cash the $500 check and send it to the client, requesting their address, which was provided, but the $500 was reportedly never received. As a result, this client claims to be out of pocket for the truck repairs and the $500 retainer paid to the attorney, in addition to the $500 check received by the attorney but not forwarded. The client states they filed a grievance with the state of Texas and intend to refile, expressing a lack of faith in the attorney grievance process. The reviewer also mentions referring their father to the same attorney for a potential class-action lawsuit, alleging a significant delay in the attorney's response. The review concludes with the client stating they would only consider the attorney honorable upon receipt of the $500 cashier's check, feeling otherwise "cheated." The client also disputes the attorney's accusation of them "just picking fights," asserting they were solely trying to recover losses incurred due to another party's actions and believed they could recover all associated costs when hiring the attorney after failed personal attempts at resolution.
In contrast to this negative experience, another reviewer shared a positive experience with Law Snakard & Gambill, specifically mentioning Ryan Towson as "a great guy." This reviewer expressed appreciation for the help they received from the team and, while acknowledging that legal matters can be challenging, described their experience with the firm as "wonderful and responsive." They stated they were "glad to have them on my side," suggesting satisfaction with the representation provided.
Given these contrasting reviews, it is challenging to definitively characterize the environment at Law Snakard & Gambill. One review suggests potential issues with communication, transparency regarding fees, and client service, while the other indicates a positive and supportive experience. Potential clients should be aware of these differing perspectives when considering this firm.
Similarly, the specific services offered by Law Snakard & Gambill are not explicitly detailed in the provided reviews. One case appears to involve a claim for property damage and the pursuit of associated legal fees, while another alludes to assistance in an unspecified legal matter where the client felt well-supported. The reference to a potential class action referral indicates that the firm may handle a variety of case types. Local users should contact the firm directly to inquire about their specific areas of practice and whether they have experience in the relevant field of law for their needs.
Features of Law Snakard & Gambill are difficult to ascertain definitively from the limited and conflicting review information. Therefore, it is crucial for potential clients to conduct thorough due diligence and ask detailed questions about the firm's processes, fees, and communication practices during an initial consultation.
Promotional information is not explicitly present in the provided reviews. The positive review serves as an implicit endorsement, highlighting responsiveness and support. However, the negative review details significant issues that would likely deter potential clients. Therefore, there is no clear promotional message to extract from this information. Sep 11, 2017 · Foxy BI have nothing to say except good things about the team over here. Ryan Towson is a great guy and I appreciate all the help they've provided for me. After seeing some of the other reviews here, I don't know what everyone's expectations are for a law firm. Courts and legal things are never fun, but this team has been wonderful and responsive to work with. I'm glad to have them on my side.
Aug 25, 2020 · J. S.I didn't actually do business with them my late grandmother basically did and they were extremely nice with me asking some questions over the phone which I think really proves what they would be like in person because I didn't owe them any money and they didn't owe me anything
