Michael Levy is NOT a good Attorney. I would not recommend him to anyone. My boyfriend had been using him for almost 30 years., and he had paid Mike in full from the get go to take care of a personal matter. This case took over 3 years and it never got finished. He would say that he sent the papers in and then he would get a letter from the court stating they needed those same papers. They held my b.f. in contempt because they never got the papers after the Attorney said he took care of it, he was held in contempt 3 times. He finally had to pay another Atty 2,500.00 to finish the case and he got it done in less than 2 months with one court visit and the paperwork done. After being his Attorney for almost 30 years, that relationship is severed all because he wouldn’t get it done . The b.f. would call his office and no one would answer the phone for days on end. This is a shame how it ended but please don’t It waste your money and hire someone who will actually do the work.

Levy Law Office Introduce

For individuals in Louisville, Kentucky, seeking legal assistance, Levy Law Office, located at 101 N 7th St, offers legal services within the local community. Situated in a convenient downtown location (zip code 40202), Levy Law Office can be reached by phone at (502) 585-1132 or via mobile at +1 502-585-1132. When searching for "Lawyers Near Me," potential clients often look for a combination of experience, reliability, and positive client testimonials. The available reviews for Michael Levy of Levy Law Office present a mixed perspective that prospective clients should consider.

One detailed review expresses significant dissatisfaction with the services provided. According to this account, the client's boyfriend had been a client of Michael Levy for approximately 30 years and had paid upfront for assistance with a personal matter. The review alleges that the case spanned over three years without resolution, marked by repeated instances where paperwork supposedly filed by the attorney was requested again by the court. This ultimately led to the client's boyfriend being held in contempt of court three times. The reviewer further states that the boyfriend had to hire another attorney, who resolved the case in under two months with one court visit after the previous attorney's prolonged involvement. The review also mentions difficulties in contacting the office, with calls allegedly going unanswered for days. The overall sentiment of this review is strongly negative, advising others to avoid wasting money and to seek representation elsewhere.

In contrast, another review offers a positive perspective, describing Michael Levy as a long-time attorney and friend of over 20 years. This reviewer characterizes him as a "great guy that works hard for his clients" and recommends him to anyone in need of a "great attorney." This starkly different opinion suggests that individual experiences with Levy Law Office may vary significantly.

Given these contrasting reviews, it is challenging to definitively characterize the environment and typical client experience at Levy Law Office. One review paints a picture of inefficiency and communication issues, potentially leading to negative legal consequences for the client. The other suggests a positive, long-standing relationship built on hard work and client dedication. Potential clients should weigh these differing accounts when considering engaging the services of this firm.

The specific services offered by Levy Law Office are not detailed in the provided information. However, the mention of a "personal matter" in the negative review suggests that the firm handles a range of legal issues beyond specific categories like personal injury or criminal defense. The long duration of the case described in the negative review (over three years) implies that the firm is willing to take on cases that may be protracted and require sustained effort. The positive review, referring to Michael Levy as "my attorney and friend for 20 years or more," hints at the possibility of long-term client relationships and a diverse practice area that has served this individual's needs over two decades.

A key feature to consider, based on the reviews, is the potential variability in client experience. While one client expresses extreme dissatisfaction with the handling of their case, citing issues with paperwork management, communication, and the ultimate resolution, another client speaks highly of the attorney's dedication and effectiveness over a significant period. This discrepancy underscores the importance of individual case specifics and the potential for differing outcomes or service levels.

From a promotional standpoint, the positive review serves as an endorsement of Michael Levy's dedication and the positive relationships he has built with some clients over time. The longevity of the attorney-client relationship mentioned (20+ years) suggests a level of trust and satisfaction for that particular individual. However, the strongly negative review acts as a significant counterpoint, cautioning potential clients about potential pitfalls in service and case management.

For local users searching for "Lawyers Near Me" and considering Levy Law Office, it is crucial to acknowledge the limited and conflicting nature of the available feedback. The negative review raises serious concerns about the firm's efficiency, communication practices, and ability to effectively manage legal matters, potentially leading to adverse consequences for clients. The positive review offers a contrasting perspective of a dedicated attorney who has fostered long-term client relationships. Without more information about the types of cases Levy Law Office typically handles or a broader range of recent client experiences, it is difficult to form a comprehensive and objective assessment of their strengths and weaknesses.

Potential clients may want to consider reaching out to Levy Law Office directly to inquire about their specific areas of practice, their approach to client communication and case management, and to potentially request references or additional information that could help them form a more informed decision. The significant divergence in the provided reviews highlights the importance of conducting thorough due diligence when selecting legal representation.

In conclusion, Levy Law Office, located in Louisville, KY, presents a complex picture based on the limited available client reviews. While one reviewer praises Michael Levy's dedication and long-standing service, another details a significantly negative experience involving prolonged case duration, alleged mismanagement of paperwork, poor communication, and ultimately the need to hire another attorney to resolve the matter. For local users seeking legal representation through "Lawyers Near Me," it is essential to carefully consider these contrasting perspectives and to conduct further research to determine if Levy Law Office aligns with their specific legal needs and expectations.
