Welcome to Lawyers Near Me, your online platform connecting you with professionals who may offer services in your local area. Today, we introduce LSB Tax Services, located at 2720 Farragut Rd, Brooklyn, NY 11210, USA. While the name suggests a focus on tax services rather than traditional legal representation, it's important for local users seeking assistance with tax-related matters to understand the services offered and consider recent customer feedback to make informed decisions.
LSB Tax Services can be contacted at their office phone number, (347) 533-9700, or their mobile phone number, +1 347-533-9700. For local users of Lawyers Near Me who require assistance with tax preparation, tax disputes, or other tax-related issues, these contact numbers provide a direct way to reach out and inquire about the services they offer. It is advisable to clearly articulate your specific tax needs when you contact them to determine if their expertise aligns with your requirements.
Information regarding the physical environment of LSB Tax Services' office is not available in the provided data. However, tax service offices typically provide a setting where clients can discuss their financial information confidentially with the preparer. You might expect a standard office environment equipped for client meetings and the processing of tax documents, but it is best to inquire directly about their office setup when you contact them.
Based on the name, LSB Tax Services likely specializes in tax-related services. This could include tax preparation for individuals and businesses, assistance with IRS audits or inquiries, tax planning, and potentially representation in tax disputes. However, the provided customer reviews offer some insight, albeit negative, into the services received by at least two clients. One review mentions the preparation of a Schedule C (for self-employment income) and the aim to secure a tax refund. The second review details issues with the filing of federal, New York State, and Connecticut tax returns, as well as a complaint filed with the IRS against the preparer, Sharon Brown.
The features of LSB Tax Services, as perceived through the lens of the customer reviews, present a mixed picture. One individual suggests that the service they received was extensive, involving the input of various expenses and the sale of a home, resulting in a significant tax refund. This could be seen as a potential feature – thoroughness in tax preparation leading to favorable outcomes. However, the second review raises serious concerns about the accuracy and completeness of the tax filing process, as well as issues with timely submission of returns and communication with the client.
The negative feedback in the reviews is a significant aspect to consider. One client details spending a considerable amount of time at the office for data input, followed by multiple visits due to the IRS not receiving their documents. This suggests potential inefficiencies in their process. Furthermore, the failure to file state tax returns (New York and Connecticut) after charging a fee and the subsequent IRS complaint are serious issues that potential clients should be aware of. These experiences indicate a lack of thoroughness and potential errors in the handling of tax filings for at least one customer.
Currently, the provided information does not include any promotional offers from LSB Tax Services. Local users interested in their services and fees should inquire directly. It is particularly important, given the negative feedback, to ask detailed questions about their processes, qualifications of their preparers, and their procedures for ensuring accurate and timely filing of tax returns. You may also want to inquire about their error resolution policies and any guarantees they offer.
Given the conflicting and concerning nature of the customer reviews, local users of Lawyers Near Me should exercise caution and conduct thorough due diligence before engaging LSB Tax Services. While one review suggests a positive outcome, the detailed negative experience of another client raises red flags about the reliability and quality of their services. It would be prudent to seek additional reviews or consider other tax service providers in the Brooklyn area to ensure your tax matters are handled accurately and professionally.
For local residents in the Farragut Road area of Brooklyn seeking tax assistance, LSB Tax Services offers a physical location. However, the negative customer feedback regarding incomplete filings and issues with the IRS is a significant factor that should be carefully considered. When contacting them, it would be wise to ask specific questions about their experience, qualifications, and processes, particularly concerning multi-state tax filings and error handling. It may also be beneficial to seek references or look for reviews on other platforms to get a more comprehensive understanding of their service quality.
In conclusion, LSB Tax Services, located on Farragut Rd in Brooklyn, appears to offer tax preparation services. However, the provided customer reviews present a concerning picture, with one client detailing significant issues with incomplete tax filings and an IRS complaint. While another review suggests a positive outcome, the serious nature of the negative feedback warrants caution. Local users of Lawyers Near Me in Brooklyn seeking tax assistance should carefully consider this information and conduct thorough research before engaging LSB Tax Services. Contacting them directly with detailed questions about their processes and qualifications is essential, and seeking additional reviews from other sources is highly recommended to make an informed decision about your tax service needs.

Feb 17, 2025 · Sharon BrowneSharon Brown filed my tax returns and charged me $550. My first day I spent 4 hours there while she inputted my information/expenses in the software she was using. I went there 9 times after the IRS told me they didn't received any documents for me.I went back to Ms. Brown and she then submitted my federal returns. She didn't submitted my NY state nor my Connecticut taxes. I filed a complaint against my Ms Brown on the advice of the irs.
