I hired Mr. Moore to represent me. At the start, I was a little concerned that he wanted payment so fast (like right now). Mr. Moore needed to meet for payment, astoundingly fast. I simply do not know why, since after payment, I experienced a never ending waiting game. My communications from Mr. Moore were very negative after payment. I felt like he was either just miserable, or that this attorney just really hated me. Either way, I could see he was not representing me well. Mr. Moore never had a grasp on my case, he would not listen and did not ask questions, he could not have cared less about me, or the case. Moreover, I could tell his presence in the courtroom was not serving me well. I felt like the prosecutor could smell blood in the waters. To say I felt defenseless is an understatement. Mr. Moore was not concerned with my side of the story, and he seemed to be on the other team. My family, my wife, and a several defense witnesses met Mr. Moore in person or by phone, and every single one came back to me, and said, man - are you sure you want that guy representing you, he seems like a guilty verdict waiting to happen. He so dry, non-motivated, and flat out lazy, quietly I knew these comments reflected my own thoughts of Mr. Moore. As my concern about Mr. Moore's ability to represent me grew, I finally rejected his request for more money, especially since I was due to pay the final 20% at trial, and he was demanding 40% more. So Mr. Garland "Gary" Moore, had attempted to over-charge, but I did not allow it. He also shared crucial information about the case with a potential defense witness, of which I felt was in violation of attorney-client privilege, but also I simply had lost any faith I had in this attorney. I sometimes wondered if the bigger mistake was hiring Gary Moore, or the charges I received in the first place. So with my nightmare of an attorney in tow - I agreed to release Gary Moore as my attorney, in open court, six days prior to my jury trial. I mean, i just figured I was toast. I hired a very bad attorney, and now it was time to pay the piper. Yes, Mr. Moore was that very, very bad. I do not how else to describe him, except for one extremely expensive mistake. Luckily, our criminal justice system swung in to action, I was able to hire another attorney. And wow, complete dismissal of everything. So much of my life, my time, my money was wasted on this lawyer. I noticed his bad reviews on Avvo are being deleted, so I have no idea whats up with that, but I have no immediate plans to delete this review. If you are in a jam, you deserve to know what you are getting in to with Mr. Moore, and its not good. You flat-out deserve to know. With that said, I am a firm believer in our justice system, but you have your own responsibility to recognize and overcome flaws. When you show for court, you need to have a strong presence, you need show the courts that you are professional and respectful, and if your intentions are to fight the charges, you had better do your homework. In my case, I was 100% prepared for a battle in front of a jury, and in my opinion, Mr. Moore was not going to fight my case in front of a jury. He barely showed for court, much less. Lethargic is how I would describe Mr. Moore. After I released Mr. Moore six days prior to scheduled jury trial, and I hired a real defense attorney, Mr. Moore refused to send over my file to new council, he refused to send me a bill or invoice, and he even seemed to be threatening me, in so many words. I considered filing a complaint with the law board, but i have already lost so much with Mr. Moore, I am moving on. Maybe you can read this, and I can save someone else the humility. Others can do as they please, but I hired and dealt with Mr. Moore. And i am telling it now, that I would absolutely roll the dice and represent myself at a trial, before I let Mr. Moore anywhere near my case. Best of luck to you!

It is important for local users to have access to objective information when making decisions about legal representation. The following introduction is based on a detailed review shared by a former client.

Based on the sole review available, the client who hired Mr. Moore expressed significant dissatisfaction with the representation received. The client initially felt concerned about the speed at which payment was requested. Following payment, the client reported experiencing a "never ending waiting game" and described communications from Mr. Moore as "very negative." This led the client to believe that Mr. Moore was not representing them well, feeling that the attorney "never had a grasp" on the case, did not listen or ask questions, and seemed uncaring about the client or the matter at hand.

The client also expressed concerns about Mr. Moore's presence in the courtroom, stating they felt defenseless and that the prosecutor had an advantage. Family members and defense witnesses who interacted with Mr. Moore reportedly shared similar concerns, questioning his ability to provide effective representation, describing him as "dry, non-motivated, and flat out lazy." These observations echoed the client's own feelings about Mr. Moore's lethargic demeanor.

As the client's apprehension grew, they rejected a request for additional funds, particularly because Mr. Moore was allegedly demanding 40% more than the initially agreed-upon final payment due at trial. The client also raised a concern about Mr. Moore sharing crucial case information with a potential defense witness, which the client felt was a violation of attorney-client privilege and further eroded their trust in the attorney.

Ultimately, the client decided to release Mr. Moore as their attorney just six days before their jury trial, acknowledging the difficult position this put them in. The client explicitly stated, "Yes, Mr. Moore was that very, very bad," describing the experience as an "extremely expensive mistake."

Following the release of Mr. Moore and the hiring of a new attorney, the client reported a "complete dismissal of everything," highlighting the perceived difference in the quality of legal representation. The client felt that significant time and money had been wasted on Mr. Moore. They also mentioned noticing negative reviews about Mr. Moore on another platform being deleted, which prompted them to share their experience publicly.

The client concluded their review by stating they would rather represent themselves at trial than have Mr. Moore handle their case again. They also mentioned that after being released, Mr. Moore allegedly refused to send the case file to the new counsel, did not provide a bill, and seemed to make threatening remarks. While considering filing a complaint, the client decided to move forward.
