Jim Moore and Rex helped me out of a DWI situation back in 2002' in Richardson, I'm NOT a bad man, just a hard working Veteran with a 3rd DWI. I wasn't a loser, I worked in the automotive industry and worked pretty much 7 days a week, 10+ hours and little to no time off. Unfortunately when I did get a little bit of time off I loved to shoot a little pool and drank and drove home. I got stopped by Richardsos finest and off we went. Jim came highly recommended and I bailed out and made an appointment to see his firm. I got there the next day and didn't meet with a flunky attorney, I sat down with Jim Moore and Rex Gunter.Jim laid it all out for me, and when he quoted me a price for their time I almost fell out of my chair. Not because it was High...instead it was unbelievably reasonable. When we got to court Mr Moore stood by my side alone to face the Judge. The funny part (if there is one) is that to our left at the Prosecutor table sat a lead Prosecutor with 4 assistants. That lead Prosecutor was screaming at the court" 12 to 99 your honor.. I DEMAND 12 years to 99 years Your Honor.!!!" Folks I thought I'd die in prison... When Mr Moore finished his testimony on my case...at break, I want you to know that lead Prosecutor offered us probation with 30 day's jail time to be served over the weekends so I wouldn't lose my job. I gladly accepted both and my life continued with NO POSSIBILITIES of me taking a chance like that again.! Just in case you're thinking this was some kinda buddy buddy deal, I'd gladly text you the case ID. I thank God for Moore and Associates.. Here's another bit of information he might not want me to pass along but they do personal injury cases also (Jim's retired now and hope this still applies). In my opinion you can always find a cheaper attorney...BUT there is None Better in the State of Texas.!!!!

Moore Jim Introduce

Welcome to Lawyers Near Me, your online resource for finding legal professionals in your local area. Today, we focus on Moore Jim, an attorney located at 10000 N Central Expy #400, Dallas, TX 75231, USA. Based on the available online reviews, Moore Jim has experience in handling Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) cases and, according to one review, has also dealt with personal injury matters in the past. For individuals in Dallas or the surrounding areas seeking legal representation in these areas, understanding the information available about Moore Jim can be a starting point in your search for legal counsel.

The reviews for Moore Jim present a contrasting perspective. One client recounts a positive experience from 2002, detailing how Jim Moore and Rex Gunter provided assistance in a third DWI case in Richardson. This client, a veteran working in the automotive industry, emphasizes the reasonable fees quoted and the effective representation received in court. According to this review, despite facing a severe potential sentence, Mr. Moore's advocacy led to a significantly more favorable outcome of probation with weekend jail time, allowing the client to maintain their employment. The reviewer expresses immense gratitude and states their belief that Jim Moore was the best attorney in Texas at that time. It's important to note that this review mentions Jim Moore's retirement and expresses hope that their involvement in personal injury cases still applies.

In stark contrast, another review from an individual claiming to be a client in 2002 expresses extreme dissatisfaction. This reviewer alleges that Moore Jim provided poor representation in a possession of a controlled substance case, claiming they were misled into entering a no-contest plea despite believing their arrest was wrongful and illegal. This review uses strong negative language, accusing the attorney of working for the state and prosecutor and attributing long-term negative consequences to the outcome of their case. The reviewer also raises concerns about the limited number of reviews for an attorney with many years of practice, suggesting that negative reviews may have been deleted.

Given these conflicting accounts, it is crucial for potential clients to approach this information with careful consideration and conduct thorough due diligence. The significant time difference between the positive and negative reviews (both referencing events in 2002, but with potentially different contexts or outcomes) further underscores the need for current and comprehensive information.

Environment and Atmosphere:

The provided reviews do not offer any insight into the physical environment or atmosphere of Moore Jim's office. Typically, law offices aim to provide a professional and confidential setting for client consultations. Located at a suite number within a larger building on North Central Expressway in Dallas, the office is likely accessible. However, without direct feedback on the ambiance, client interaction within the office, or the overall professionalism of the staff (beyond the attorneys mentioned in the reviews), it is impossible to provide an objective description of the environment. Potential clients may wish to inquire about the office setting when contacting the firm.

Services Offered:

Based on the available reviews, we can infer that Moore Jim has experience in the following areas of law:

  • Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) Defense: The positive review explicitly details assistance provided in a DWI case. This suggests that DWI defense was a part of Moore Jim's legal practice, at least at the time of the 2002 case.
  • Criminal Defense (Possession of Controlled Substance): The negative review pertains to a possession of a controlled substance charge, indicating that Moore Jim handled criminal defense cases. However, the reviewer's experience was highly negative.
  • Personal Injury (Historically): The positive review mentions that "they do personal injury cases also" and notes that Jim Moore is now retired, expressing uncertainty about whether this still applies. This suggests that personal injury law was likely an area of practice for the firm at some point.

It is important to note that the information regarding personal injury cases is dated due to Jim Moore's retirement mentioned in the review. Potential clients interested in personal injury representation should verify if the firm still handles these cases and who the current attorneys are.

To obtain a comprehensive and current understanding of the specific legal services currently offered by Moore Jim's practice, it is essential to contact their office directly. Inquiring about their current areas of specialization and the attorneys currently handling cases will provide the most accurate information.

Key Features and Strengths (Based on Limited and Conflicting Information):

Given the limited and conflicting nature of the reviews, it is challenging to definitively identify Moore Jim's key features and strengths. However, based on the positive review from 2002:

  • Experience in DWI Defense: The positive account suggests experience and a potential track record of achieving favorable outcomes in DWI cases.
  • Reasonable Fees (in the past): The positive reviewer specifically mentioned that the quoted price for legal services was "unbelievably reasonable" at the time.
  • Direct Attorney Interaction: The client met directly with Jim Moore and Rex Gunter, not a junior associate.
  • Effective Courtroom Advocacy (in the past): According to the positive review, Mr. Moore's representation in court was effective in mitigating a severe potential sentence.

Conversely, the negative review raises serious concerns about the attorney's conduct and the outcome of a criminal defense case.

It is crucial for potential clients to weigh these contrasting perspectives and conduct their own thorough research and inquiries.

Promotional Information:

Based on the limited and conflicting information, it is difficult to extract current and reliable promotional information. The positive review highlights past successes in DWI cases and mentions historical involvement in personal injury, but notes the retirement of Jim Moore. The negative review offers a starkly contrasting account and does not provide any basis for promotional claims.

Therefore, any potential promotional aspects would need to be obtained directly from the firm, inquiring about their current areas of expertise, the experience of their current attorneys, and their approach to client representation.

In conclusion, the online reviews for Moore Jim present a mixed picture. One review from 2002 describes a positive outcome in a DWI case, highlighting reasonable fees and effective representation. However, another review from the same period expresses severe dissatisfaction with the handling of a possession of controlled substance case. The mention of Jim Moore's retirement suggests potential changes in the firm's practice areas and personnel. For individuals in Dallas seeking legal representation, particularly in DWI or criminal defense, it is strongly recommended to contact Moore Jim's office directly to obtain current information about their services, the experience of their current attorneys, and to conduct thorough due diligence based on your specific legal needs. Weighing all available information and conducting personal interviews with potential attorneys is a crucial step in making an informed decision about legal representation.

HORRIBLE ATTORNEY, THE REASON I WRITE IN CAPITAL LETTERS. HE LIED AND FOOLED ME TO ENTER A NO CONTEST CHARGE FOR POSSESION OF CONTROL SUBSTANCE KNOWING THE STATE LIED AND MY ARREST WAS WRONGFUL AND ILLEGAL IN 2002. STEER CLEAR OF THIS ATTORNEY IF NOT YOU WILL DIE YOUNG AND PREMATURELY. HE IS HORRIBLE N QUITE FRANKLY WORKS FOR THE STATE N PROSECUTOR. I AM STILL LIVING IN THE MESS HE PUT ME INTO AFTER 22YEARS, FOLKS! I KNOW HE WILL TRY TO DELETE MY REVIEW LIKE HE HAS DONE TO OTHERS. WHAT ATTORNEY HAS ONLY 2 REVIEWS AFTER SO MANY YEARS OF PRACTICE AND ONLY I GOOD REVIEW? BEWARE!!!

He lied to me about a jury being downstairs, which scared me into taking probation. There was no jury. He knew I didn't know the system so he spitefully lied to me. I should of replaced him, but I was young and not knowing.
