Initially I was a bit skeptical using their services because I was solicited by Guardian before I could make calls of my own for a law firm, but I went ahead with the process. Here's where I started having second thoughts, my treatment (injections) were abruptly ended before I could start the physical therapy portion and the reason was because of the financial part of it. My deposition was in January of 2025, keep in mind my accident was in April of 2023 and it has been the case since the intake call, that if I don't contact them for updates I don't hear from them. I tried showing grace but now I'm so over this law firm and reading some of the reviews, I would not have used this firm. Communication is a big negative with them, I expected some sort of professionalism even with a simple call or email for any updates. As a client, I definitely at least deserve a call back. Two years should be sufficient enough time to closeout this case. Someone mentioned contacting the Bar Association, I think I'm in agreement.

My Guardian Law Introduce

For individuals in the Jonesboro, Georgia area seeking legal representation and searching under the category "Lawyers Near Me," My Guardian Law, located at 6909 Tara Blvd ste 200, Jonesboro, GA 30236, USA, presents itself as a local legal service provider. However, it is crucial to consider the information available from recent customer reviews to gain a comprehensive understanding of their services and client experiences.

The physical environment of My Guardian Law, situated on Tara Boulevard in Jonesboro, would typically offer a standard office setting where clients can meet with their legal representatives. While specific details about the office atmosphere are not provided in the reviews, potential clients can likely expect a professional space for consultations and case management. The Jonesboro location aims to serve the legal needs of the local community within Clayton County and surrounding areas.

The specific legal services offered by My Guardian Law are not detailed in the provided information. However, based on the context of the reviews, it appears they handle personal injury cases, specifically those arising from accidents. One review mentions an accident occurring in April 2023, suggesting that the firm takes on such cases. Without further information, the full scope of their legal practice remains unclear. Individuals seeking representation in specific areas of law should directly inquire with the firm about their expertise.

The features of My Guardian Law, as perceived through the lens of recent client experiences, raise significant concerns, particularly regarding communication and client service. One recurring theme in the reviews is a lack of proactive communication. One client stated that "if I don't contact them for updates I don't hear from them," highlighting a passive approach to client communication. This lack of regular updates and the need for clients to constantly initiate contact appear to be a major drawback for those who expect consistent engagement from their legal counsel.

Another concerning feature mentioned in one of the reviews is the abrupt termination of medical treatment, specifically injections, before the client could begin physical therapy. The stated reason for this termination was related to financial aspects, which raises questions about the firm's handling of client medical care and its coordination with legal proceedings. This abrupt change in treatment had a direct negative impact on the client's recovery process and overall experience with the firm.

Furthermore, the reviews indicate potential issues with responsiveness and follow-through, especially after a settlement or resolution is reached with the opposing party (in this case, the insurance company). One review recounts an experience where "when the check was cut from the insurance company, they avoided everyone on the case. Would not respond to calls or emails. No one would even update us on the status 3 weeks after the check was sent." This complete lack of communication and transparency after a significant stage in the case is deeply troubling and suggests a disregard for client needs and expectations.

The negative experiences shared in these reviews do not provide any basis for positive promotional information. Instead, they serve as cautionary tales for potential clients considering My Guardian Law. The solicitation mentioned in one review ("I was solicited by Guardian before I could make calls of my own for a law firm") might also be a point of consideration for individuals who prefer to initiate contact with legal services on their own terms.

One of the reviewers, based on their negative experience and having read other similar reviews, explicitly states, "I would not have used this firm." This strong sentiment, coupled with the suggestion to contact the Bar Association due to the perceived lack of professionalism and communication, underscores the severity of the issues raised by these clients.

For local users in Jonesboro, GA, searching for "Lawyers Near Me," the recent feedback regarding My Guardian Law presents a concerning picture. While the firm is physically located in the area, the experiences shared by these clients highlight significant shortcomings in communication, client updates, and potentially the handling of medical treatment related to personal injury cases. These are critical aspects of legal representation, and the negative reviews should be carefully considered by anyone contemplating using their services.

Potential clients are strongly advised to proceed with caution and conduct thorough due diligence before engaging My Guardian Law. This could involve seeking additional reviews from other sources, if available, and directly contacting the firm with detailed questions about their communication protocols, case management procedures, and client support. The phone numbers provided, (470) 260-7651 and +1 470-260-7651, can be used to make initial inquiries. However, it is essential to approach these inquiries with a critical perspective, given the serious concerns raised by the existing client feedback. The suggestion by one reviewer to contact the Bar Association indicates a level of dissatisfaction that potential clients should not ignore.

In conclusion, while My Guardian Law is located in Jonesboro, GA, and falls under the category of "Lawyers Near Me," the available recent customer reviews paint a concerning picture regarding their communication practices, client updates, and handling of client matters. Potential clients should carefully weigh these negative experiences and conduct thorough research before deciding to engage their services. The lack of positive feedback or promotional information in the provided data, coupled with the serious allegations in the reviews, warrants significant caution.

Had 7 people on our case. When the check was cut from the insurance company, they avoided everyone on the case. Would not respond to calls or emails. No one would even update us on the status 3 weeks after the check was sent. We well Never Use them again. We will stay local next time.

My experience with them has been nice. Reading other reviews about the payout process being timely. Is making me a tad bit nervous. My case is settled. Due to my injury compensation is needed. Hopefully Guardian won't let me down, and expedite the process. Looking forward to a call from Stephanie soon. ( Kimberly Giles)

Me being in management I do not like writing negative reviews. But I feel I have no other choice. My job is transferring me to another state next month, so I’m trying to finalize this case before I leave. My case has been Finalized for about a month I was told by Stephanie that someone from the billing department will give me a call within the next two weeks. Well, I never received a phone call so I called and left several (5) messages but no one will call me back and answer my questions. Now this wasn’t the case when I first opened the case with guardian. Stephanie was great! But the billing lady don’t return phone calls. Is it out sight, out of mind or now that the case is over, you got your money, you’ll send me mines at your convenience. As we know when you’re dealing with an attorney, communication is Key on both ends. A simple call back is the best thing to do. Again, Stephanie was great, but I don’t think I would ever use guardian law group or recommend guardian law group to my friends and associates. It’s really about having respect for your clients. Returning call when they call you. That’s what makes a good law firm…..Good Communication by both parties. Thanks, for listening. Thanks Derek Gholston

Amazing company to work with overall. I’ve worked with other groups in the past and it took over a year to get any progress with them it took a little less than 8 months for the whole process and to get a check. The follow up throughout the process could be a little better overall it was hassle free. Richard at the end was amazing and had a great personality and customer service!
