For individuals in Japan seeking legal assistance through the "Lawyers Near Me" platform, it is important to note that the following information pertains to Nesenoff & Miltenberg Law Firm, located at 363 7th Ave 5th floor, New York, NY 10001, USA. While this firm is based in the United States, examining the feedback provided by their clients can offer insights into the qualities and potential services one might look for when seeking legal representation, regardless of geographical location.
Nesenoff & Miltenberg Law Firm appears to be a practice where client advocacy and expertise are emphasized, according to one detailed positive review. The client who worked directly with Marybeth at the firm described the entire team as "responsive, efficient, empathetic," and possessing the necessary expertise. This suggests a firm environment that prioritizes client needs and aims to provide both effective legal representation and supportive client service. The mention of Marybeth's ability to turn anxiety into peace of mind indicates a client-centered approach where emotional well-being is considered alongside legal objectives.
The positive review highlights several key services and features of Nesenoff & Miltenberg Law Firm:
However, it is crucial to consider a contrasting experience shared in another review. This review details a negative interaction with the front desk staff. The reviewer, who was seeking support and reached out to the firm based on positive reviews, reported feeling unheard and unsupported during their initial contact. The staff member allegedly made assumptions about the validity of the issues the caller was facing and informed them about the firm's policy of not accepting legal funding or contingency fees without fully understanding the situation. This interaction reportedly caused significant emotional distress to the potential client, who was already in a vulnerable state.
This negative experience raises concerns about the consistency of client service at the firm, particularly during initial contact. It also highlights the importance of empathy and thoroughness in handling inquiries from potential clients, especially those who may be facing difficult circumstances. The firm's policy regarding legal funding and contingency fees is a factual piece of information conveyed, but the manner in which it was communicated in this instance appears to have been insensitive.
Considering both reviews, the features of Nesenoff & Miltenberg Law Firm present a mixed picture. On one hand, the firm is capable of providing excellent advocacy, responsiveness, expertise, and empathetic service, leading to positive outcomes and peace of mind for clients. On the other hand, there seems to be a potential for negative initial interactions, possibly due to the handling of initial inquiries or the communication of firm policies by non-attorney staff.
There is no specific promotional information provided in the reviews. The positive testimonial acts as an implicit endorsement of the firm's services, particularly when working directly with attorneys like Marybeth. The negative review, however, serves as a cautionary note regarding potential challenges in the initial stages of contact.
For users in Japan searching for "Lawyers Near Me," the lessons from these reviews are valuable. When seeking local legal counsel, it is important to look for attorneys and firms that demonstrate not only expertise in the relevant area of Japanese law but also a commitment to responsive, efficient, and empathetic client service. Clear communication and a supportive approach can significantly impact a client's experience during a potentially stressful time.
While Nesenoff & Miltenberg Law Firm is geographically located in New York, the positive aspects highlighted in the first review align with the qualities one might seek in any legal representative, regardless of location. Conversely, the negative experience underscores the importance of professional and empathetic conduct at all levels of client interaction, from initial contact onwards.
In conclusion, Nesenoff & Miltenberg Law Firm in New York appears to have a capacity for providing strong legal advocacy, expertise, and positive client experiences, as evidenced by one detailed review. However, a separate account indicates potential issues with initial client interactions and the communication of firm policies, suggesting a possible inconsistency in service delivery. For users in Japan seeking "Lawyers Near Me," these reviews offer a reminder to thoroughly research local options and consider both the legal expertise and the client service approach of potential legal representatives.

Feb 24, 2025 · Donnasue GraesserI just spoke with a lady from front desk. Instead of hearing me out completely, she said the school I attended had a valid reason to make the statement they made due to my anxiety. I was also harassed and retaliated against at the school I attended. I was only seeking support and reached out to this firm because of all the good reviews and was hoping someone would be able to assist me. I was told the law firm does not accept legal funding nor do they accept anything on contingency. I am already in a vulnerable state. This person has no idea the mental stress I have been going through. This few minutes conversation with the front desk lady made me break down in tears. No one should ever have to feel this way especially when seeking for help. I know most law firms are all about money but that doesn’t mean you don’t help the person on the other side of the phone and just hang up. We are all trying to make it.
