In the past they have been good. Now however I call and the receptionists are rude. You are the first point of contact, be polite. They act like I'm a burden or as if they have something better to do than answer phones. Maybe a little customer service class will do some good. You are not making the people you work for look good. At the end of the day we are your customers, treat everyone with respect and patience. What I will say is that legal assistant was wonderful, knowledgeable and patient. I would have given it 5 stars if it wren't for the receptionist.

Oester - Riccobono Introduce

For those in Phoenix, Arizona, seeking legal representation and searching within the "Lawyers Near Me" category, it's important to be aware of the law firm formerly known as Oester - Riccobono. Their previous address was 1990 W Camelback Rd #101, Phoenix, AZ 85015, USA, and they could be reached at (602) 244-1150 or +1 602-244-1150. It is crucial to note, based on recent customer feedback, that this firm has reportedly changed its name to Crossroads Law Group and relocated to 3200 N. Central in Phoenix. This change in name and location is significant information for local users attempting to contact or research this legal practice.

The available customer reviews present a mixed and concerning picture of the services provided by the firm, both under its former name and its reported new identity. One review indicates a past positive experience but notes a significant decline in customer service, specifically citing rude receptionists who act as if clients are a burden. The reviewer praises the legal assistant as wonderful, knowledgeable, and patient, suggesting that the legal support staff may provide a more positive interaction. However, the negative experience with the initial point of contact, the receptionist, significantly impacted the overall impression of the firm, leading to a lower rating.

A more severe negative review details a highly unsatisfactory experience related to an immigration case. According to this review, the firm, identified as having changed its name to Crossroads Law Group and located at 3200 N. Central, allegedly caused a significant delay of three and a half years in processing the client's mother's resident card. This delay purportedly resulted in the client's mother having to travel to CD Juarez. The reviewer further claims that the initial visa appointment was cancelled by the lawyer, leading to the client having to pay the visa fee twice. The review also alleges a lack of a clear contract outlining the total cost of services and a general lack of organization. The reviewer strongly advises against using this firm, expressing a belief that they would unnecessarily inflate costs. This detailed negative account raises serious concerns about the firm's handling of immigration cases, communication, and billing practices.

Another very brief review simply states a dislike for the law firm, reinforcing the negative sentiment expressed in the more detailed accounts. Additionally, a comment in Spanish ("No vallan con estos abogados. Ya cambiaron de nombre y se llaman Crossroads Law Group.") echoes the warning against using these lawyers and reiterates the name change to Crossroads Law Group.

Based on these reviews, it is challenging to provide a positive description of the environment or features of the firm. The negative feedback regarding rude receptionists suggests a potentially unwelcoming or unprofessional front office environment. The allegations of disorganization and poor handling of a complex immigration case point to potential issues with the firm's operational efficiency and case management. The positive mention of a knowledgeable and patient legal assistant offers a glimmer of a potentially competent legal support staff, but this is overshadowed by the significant negative experiences reported.

Regarding the services offered by the firm, the detailed negative review explicitly mentions handling an immigration case involving a resident card and a visa. This suggests that immigration law is one of the firm's areas of practice. However, given the severely negative outcome reported, local users seeking immigration assistance should exercise extreme caution and consider this feedback seriously. The lack of specific information about other areas of law practiced by Oester - Riccobono (now Crossroads Law Group) makes it difficult to provide a comprehensive list of their services. Potential clients would need to independently verify their areas of expertise.

In terms of features, the only positive aspect highlighted is the knowledge and patience of at least one legal assistant. However, this is counterbalanced by the reported rudeness of the receptionists and the alleged disorganization and mishandling of a significant immigration matter. The lack of a clear contract, as mentioned in one review, is a significant negative feature that could lead to financial disputes and a lack of transparency for clients.

There is no promotional information available in the provided reviews. In fact, the strong negative reviews serve as a warning rather than an endorsement. Local users searching for "Lawyers Near Me" should be particularly cautious when considering Oester - Riccobono (now Crossroads Law Group) based on the serious allegations of poor service, mishandled cases, and potential overcharging.

Given the significant negative feedback, it is imperative for local users in Phoenix to conduct thorough research and consider these experiences carefully before engaging the services of Oester - Riccobono (now Crossroads Law Group). The reported change of name and location further complicates the situation, and potential clients should ensure they are dealing with the correct entity and are aware of the reported issues. It would be advisable to seek multiple opinions and explore other legal options in the "Lawyers Near Me" category to find a firm with a more consistently positive track record and a reputation for professionalism and client satisfaction.

In conclusion, while formerly known as Oester - Riccobono and located on West Camelback Road, this law firm has reportedly changed its name to Crossroads Law Group and moved to North Central Avenue in Phoenix. The available customer reviews present significant concerns regarding rude receptionists, disorganization, poor handling of an immigration case resulting in substantial delays and additional costs, and a lack of transparent billing practices. Local users searching for legal representation in Phoenix should proceed with extreme caution and conduct thorough due diligence before considering this firm. The negative experiences reported by previous clients should be a key factor in their decision-making process.

Bad, they changed their name to Crossroads Law Group, in 3200 N. Central. So they made my mom wait 3 and a half years for her resident card, which caused her to go to CD Juarez. The first appointment for visa was cancelled by the lawyer? Which caused us to pay twice for the freaking visa fee. They do not have a contract stating how much will it cost. Not organized. Please do not go here. They will make you pay even more that's what we believe. I just don't like their law firm. I am telling you by experience, do your research and reviews for every lawyer you consider to help you. No vallan con estos abogados. Ya cambiaron de nombre y se llaman Crossroads Law Group.

My husband started the process for his DACA in 2014. We met with Mr Oester himself and he wrote down all of our options now and for the future once I sponsored my husband. We then meet with her assistant Esmeralda, who gave us all the documents we needed to come up with. We had to wait to save up money and come up with the documents but once we did and turned them in - they were sent out right away. It took forever to finally get my husbands visa but that was an issue with immigration office not the lawyer. We did go in multiple times to the office and only ever met with Esmeralda not Mr Oester - which was a little different. But she always answered all our questions and was very nice. Actually have an appt w/ her next wk. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!

No bueno. Dealing with this office was a complete waste of time and money. They were very prompt in communication until fees were paid, then not at all after. All we received for our fee was spotty communication, no answers to voicemails, and a bunch of false assurances. Their ineptness delayed our case by months, which possibly would have been even longer if we hadn't contacted the NVC directly with our questions. If you wonder if you need a lawyer, see if you can do it on your own first. If you're in trouble and you need one, find a different one.
