They can be contacted at (203) 333-2116 or via their mobile number, +1 203-333-2116. As a listing within the "Lawyers Near Me" platform, this law office aims to provide accessible legal support to residents of Fairfield and the surrounding areas.
When selecting a legal representative through a platform like "Lawyers Near Me," it is crucial for users to consider various factors, including the firm's areas of expertise, the environment they offer, and feedback from previous clients. The available reviews for Peter Ambrose Law Office LLC offer a direct, albeit critical, perspective on some client experiences, particularly in the context of real estate transactions.
The address, 1100 Kings Hwy E #3e, suggests a professional office setting within a commercial building in Fairfield. Suite numbers typically indicate a shared office space or a multi-tenant building. While the reviews do not describe the physical environment of the office, clients can generally expect a standard professional atmosphere for consultations and meetings. However, the focus of the provided feedback centers more on the service and professionalism experienced by clients rather than the office aesthetics.
Based on the detailed negative reviews, it appears that Peter Ambrose Law Office LLC is significantly involved in real estate law, specifically handling closing attorney services for home purchases. The issues raised by the reviewers pertain directly to this area of practice. While the firm may offer other legal services, the available feedback strongly emphasizes experiences related to real estate closings. Therefore, it is important for potential clients seeking assistance in other legal domains to inquire specifically about the firm's expertise in those areas.
The features of Peter Ambrose Law Office LLC, as perceived through the lens of the provided reviews, present a concerning picture. One reviewer describes Mr. Ambrose as "rude and disappointing" as a closing attorney. Another provides a detailed account of a significant issue involving a lost home deposit cashier's check. According to this review, the office allegedly received and signed for the check weeks before closing but failed to properly account for it. This negligence purportedly led to the client being unexpectedly required to wire thousands of dollars on the closing day to avoid jeopardizing the home purchase.
Furthermore, the client recounts attempts to resolve the financial discrepancy, including requesting that Mr. Ambrose cover the lost funds or issue a promissory note. These requests were reportedly refused. The review also details a subsequent phone call where Mr. Ambrose allegedly hung up on the client after being confronted about the inconvenience caused by his office's negligence. This behavior is described as "disgusting" and "extremely unprofessional" by the reviewer.
Another review characterizes Peter Ambrose as someone who is "desensitized to the stresses that go hand and hand with purchasing a home," "an alarmist," and out of touch with current market trends, suggesting a lack of adaptability and perhaps a dated approach to real estate law. This reviewer strongly advises potential clients to seek younger and more versatile attorneys.
Considering these detailed and critical reviews, it is challenging to identify positive promotional aspects based solely on this information. The feedback predominantly highlights significant issues with negligence, unprofessionalism, and a lack of client-focused problem-solving, at least within the context of real estate closing services. Any potential promotional messaging would need to directly address these serious allegations and demonstrate a commitment to rectifying such issues and ensuring a significantly improved client experience.
For local users in Fairfield seeking a closing attorney through "Lawyers Near Me," the provided reviews for Peter Ambrose Law Office LLC serve as a stark warning. Potential clients should exercise extreme caution and consider these experiences carefully before engaging the services of this firm, particularly for real estate transactions. It would be prudent to thoroughly vet other options and seek attorneys with a more positive and reliable track record in handling real estate closings.
If considering Peter Ambrose Law Office LLC for other legal matters, it is imperative to conduct thorough due diligence, ask for references, and inquire specifically about the attorney's experience and approach in the relevant area of law. The negative feedback regarding real estate closings raises concerns about the firm's overall client management and attention to detail.
In conclusion, the available information regarding Peter Ambrose Law Office LLC, particularly the detailed client reviews, paints a concerning picture, especially concerning real estate closing services. The allegations of negligence, unprofessionalism, and poor client communication should be taken very seriously by potential clients in Fairfield seeking legal representation through "Lawyers Near Me." While the firm is a local option, users are strongly advised to weigh these negative experiences heavily and consider alternative legal counsel to ensure a smoother and more reliable legal process.

Dec 20, 2019 · Maxwell erniPeter is a very rude and disappointing closing attorney. Peter’s office was very negligent as they received my home deposit cashiers check, signed for it and “lost” it. To put things into greater perspective, I sent the check 3 1/2 weeks before closing and they never mentioned not having the check. On my closing day, I was forced to wire additional money (thousands of dollars which was totally unexpected), in order to close. If I did not have the funds readily available, I would not have been able to close on my new home. In lieu of their mistake, my attorney asked Peter to cover the difference in what was already paid (via cashiers check) so that my total amount due would match what I was initially asked to bring to the closing table. Peter didn’t budge, even though his office was at fault for neglecting to add my check to my profile and ultimately they lost the check. During closing, after wiring the necessary funds, I explained to my attorney why my bank could not void the cashiers check for 90 days. That means the unexpected money I was forced to wire in addition to what I already paid was out of my account and I will not be able to retrieve it for 90 days. With that, I asked my attorney to ask Peter if they could return the lost funds and issue a promissory note/ promise to pay which I was happy to sign, but Peter refused. A week after closing, I called Peters office and spoke to Rachel. I asked Rachel if my check was found, she said “no” and transferred me to Peter. While speaking to Peter, I mentioned issuing a promise to pay (again), he told me he is not willing to do any cash advances, I then told him how much of an inconvenience his negligence has been and instead of finding a solution to the problem he created, he said, “I am not supposed to be speaking to you!” and hung up in my face. Truth is, closing was complete so he had every right to speak to me and he should have made an effort to right his wrong. With all that being said, Peter is a disgusting closing attorney and extremely unprofessional. I am still in absolute disbelief and I highly recommend exploring other closing attorney options. If their office can lose money, they can most certainly lose sensitive information, it’s a shame!

Oct 09, 2019 · Chaquanzha StephensonA fantastic Lawyer. He helped us in buying our home and really made sure we were safe. He put up boundaries with the banks and sellers to keep us safe where we didn't know we needed it. I highly recommend Peter and would use him again and again.

Nov 19, 2012 · Katie SettelPeter is a fantastic person very nice but he is at a stage where he is not mentally fit to perform his job and that’s a concern when you seek legal help . The office is straight out of “ Brazil” a British movie from the early 80 ‘s . You ar simply 50 years or more back in time ! Peter represented the buyer of a house I sold in 2014 and I wanted him to help me with 2 transactions but I it was very clear to me that he was not fit for his job anymore . It’s best for him to enjoy a happy retirement but unfortunately this is not an acceptable standard for anybody who needs legal help so it’s an office to completely avoid
