I wanted to take this time and thank attorney R Gregory Colvin, LLC for his unwavering approach in helping me in a legal matter involving my ex-spouse. Mr. Colvin took the time to thoroughly understood my case with compassion and empathy. Mr. Colvin navigated through the legal system with mediation and concluded my case with a favorable ending to my family law case. I've been amazed how professional Mr. Colvin's handled this entire legal procedure and could not thank him enough for the peace and tranquility he has finally given me.

I have been going through a custody battle for approximately 5 years. About 3 years ago, my attorney closed her law firm and I had to find new counsel right away as my court case was still in progress. I started to panic, not yet to find an attorney, but to find an attorney who is able to understand the history clearly and be able to execute without hesitation or reservation. My paralegal that was with my previous attorney, that now worked for Mr. Colvin, recommended me to his law firm. I’m not trying to be biased but that was the best decision I could have made as he was able to understand what I was going through as a parent and how important a good outcome was for me. After my first call with Mr. Colvin, I felt at ease because he was able to review my case in very little time and was able to relay back to me what my expectations were of him and provided details on what he would be doing to get the desired outcome. The other parent has been very challenging since day and I knew it would be an uphill battle to relocate with my daughter. Through several hearings, case management conferences, attorney changes from the other parent, filings, and discovery requests. Mr. Colvin entrusted the updates to my case to his amazing paralegal, Jessica, and I was kept up to date every step of the way. If there was a change, I would receive a phone call and she was able to walk me through the legal jargon so that I understood what was happening. There are times that I would start stressing out about the case and I would pick up the phone can call Mr. Colvin’s office and talk to Jessica. She continued to provide words of encouragement. She always answered and was always very friendly and encouraging. When you are going through a custody battle for a child that you gave birth to and in your heart you know what is in their best interest, it is good to know that you have a team behind you that feels the way you do and works tirelessly on your behalf. Entrusting the faith of your child to a stranger you just met is hard enough, but knowing that person will do everything that can to win your case makes the stress a little bit lighter. As the day of the trial approached, Mr Colvin and his paralegal worked diligently to prepare all my exhibits and contacted all my witnesses to make sure that they would be available for trial. During the trial, I was especially impressed with the redirect/questions asked by Mr. Colvin to make the redirect work in my favor. The end result was that we won the case and I was able to relocate with my daughter. I would recommend Mr. Colvin to my friends and family!

Unfortunately I took some time to write this review. I'm going to give A couple tips on what I wish I did when hiring a Attorney. 1 don't be so quick To pick your first just because it sounds good. 2 read reviews After I started to get Curious , I read some reviews and did not care for them and I noticed a lot Of what they said is what was happening. 3 Make sure the attorney is not tired of being a lawyer. Making sure they still have the fight left in them. My story my daughter passed away and a non relative lied to get my grandchildren. When I contacted the referral line, he was the first person I talked to I was so excited.Someone listen to me.I hired them right away. I had no idea.He was going to be barred for thirty days. And I feel that thirty days played a big part and some of my petitions And Delays. I feel if he would have fought a little harder.I would not have lost my grandchildren to a Non relative. You can tell that everyone in that county All scratch each other's back. Therefore I needed A lawyer With a bite. I didn't even get a due process before rights terminated That's something he could had hit really hard on and he didn't. He literally let the court take advantage of him. It was a complete circus. He had a hard time. Remember in my grand kid's name and my daughters. He was not prepared. Even The court reporter Said he lost his Spunk because she Seen him an action , many of times and this is the first he Did not seem prepared.. well I lost my grandchildren to a Non relative. I'm fighting now to get grandparents rights to visit my grandchildren. I'm lost every day on why did this happen. My rights was Violate it and I did not have the right person to fight for them. Yes him and his staff was nice but I didn't need nice I needed a fighter.

Mr Colvin and Jessica are both amazing. They work very closely with you and listen to you. We received an amazing outcome to our case. I would highly recommend them. Im so grateful for them and this amazing work. If you are looking for an amazing custody lawyer there is no better.
